Except if you are Villarreal or Manchester City fan or a Rival fan, you surely had a wonderful time watching the scintillating football were blessed with in the second legs of the UCL semi-final. Courtois was in full form, making so many great saves to deny Bernardo Silva, Foden and co. The first half ended with no goal from either side. The second half continued with the same rhythm, both teams attacked aggressively but no goal was scored until Riyad Mahrez broke the deadlock via an assist from the lively Bernardo silva. At this stage, tweets were flying, congratulating City and it looked like we are having another “All English Final”. Little did we know that Rodrygo has other plans. The hero against Chelsea was at it again, he sneaked between two defenders to score the first goal but it seems their resurgence was a little too late.
