Gameweek 31: Top 4 & Relegation battle

The premier league is to have an interesting ending, with Man City and Liverpool still having a great chance of clinching the title. But where the fun is at its climax will be the battle for the Top 4. Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea may have booked their champions league sport except the unexpected happens (Losing the remaining games of the season while others win) which looks impossible. The Fourth slot looks open for any of Tottenham, Arsenal, West ham and Manchester united.

United must have thought their chances of qualifying for the champions league are almost over when they drew against Leicester but Arsenal do them a great favour by losing against Crystal Palace. Tottenham continues to ascend up on the table with a comfortable 5-1 win against Newcastle. Making them the only London big team with a win.

Perhaps the most surprising result came at the Stamford bridge. The result was unexpected and it left the blues faithful in shock. One of Chelsea's biggest assets is their solid defence and it looked like it was going to be another routine win when their defender Rudiger scored a goal worthy of a “goal of the month nomination” but that was not meant to be the case. Eriksen and Brentford had other plans. The match ended 4-1 in favour of Brentford and Chelsea have to look over their shoulders now.

“Who will drop a point first?” This is the question everyone has been asking. Guardiola’s men look like they’ve lost their cutting edge but they still manage to get the desired result while Klopp must be happy to have a dependable front line with options. The determinant of where the trophy is going will most likely be determined when the two teams face themselves this weekend.

Away from the upper part of the table, the relegation battle looks like it is getting more interesting. Lampard’s Everton needs a quick revival, if there’s any match that describes their present situation it will be their match against their fellow relegation-threatened team- Burnley. When Burnley scored the first goal everyone started asking what was wrong with Everton. Two penalties from Richarlison put them in the driving seat at half-time but Everton was Everton again. They lost 3-2 at the end of the day. Will Lampard perform a miracle? Should he be sacked immediately before things go from worse to worst? These are questions everyone is asking.

The biggest crypto family league has been nothing short of exciting. Over 100 Men and women have been battling it out since Gameweek 1, so many have fallen on the way, So many are still hopeful of finishing as high as possible. Who will be crowned the ultimate champion? We all wait to see.

As you know the competition is organized by Club1BCH and has Konra as its official sponsor. This goes to say, winners won’t only be rewarded with BCH but also received Konra, however, there is a possibility that some won’t receive their reward. I’m sure you’re wondering why and asking “who”. Those that fail to fill the google form. The form was created to aid the easy distribution of prizes to the winners but only a few managers have filled the form, if you’re one of those who haven’t, quickly click this link now and do the needful.

The Top 10 have few changes, though the Top 3 remain almost the same, it’s good to see the tough battle going on at the top. The point difference isn’t much and any Manager can still run away with the crown. Let’s keep our fingers crossed. I’m still not in the Top 20 yet but it’s still possible to sneak in before the season ends.
