Surprisingly, the radioβs battery lasted pretty long. It gave out after a week of continuous playing. In that time span, they had managed to get everything ready for their much awaited new exploration. From a population of two, it eventually became close to a hundred by the time the music stopped.
On the first day since they found the radio, they had managed to create with the grass. The females that first came to them were part of the handicraft club their school had established so weaving baskets and bags from the dried grass they had found wasnβt such a heavy task. By the afternoon of that day, they were equipped with baskets which they put all their gathered food in. On that same day, they had managed to make a makeshift carriage as well from parts of old toys the men had managed to find while scavenging for food.
On the second day, the exploration continued for the men while the women tried to create more items from the grass and from whatever items they could find around the area. On that day, more people came. It seemed the radio truly was the one attracting people. How long has it probably been since some people last heard music.
On their third day, they had managed to make better tents and sleeping bags for the settlement. They had also managed to acquire the help of some insects in exchange for some food they had managed to collect over the days. It was as if they had become a tiny civilization of their own with their own pets. It would be an unusual sight had this happened so many days ago. For now, they could only reminisce and hope things revert to normal.
Things became much more peaceful for them and by the fifth day since they had decided to settle in the area for the time being, they had managed to explore the surrounding areas much further and with a larger number of people. One of their new findings were blades. Small toy blades they had acquired from the small toy soldiers that were left scattered on the ground of what was formerly a playground. Or so it looked like with the huge slide still standing proud at the center of it.
Their discovery of the blades definitely made things much easier for them. It made cutting materials and defending their small area from threats less of a struggle than what it originally was. It also saved much more time for them, which helped increase their productivity. By the sixth day, the radio sound had weakened, meaning its battery was probably almost used up. By the time it went completely mute by the evening, Frankie had come to make an announcement of their departure from their settlement. It would definitely be a struggle but it was needed. They needed to find more people and simply staying there would do them no good with how their food resources would eventually deplete with their increasing number. On the seventh day, they departed in search of a new place to settle in and hopefully, a new radio to help attract more people.
The resident evil 3 got my attention π€£ But oh, this story is pretty interesting.. I just remember that movie ive watched before that the characters been to a place where small creatures in human world are very huge there, while big creatures are very small there....
