Do not let your Heart be Troubled or Afraid.
"The favorite place of God is the heart of man". I've read this phrase on Facebook which reminds us what the bible says that our body is the temple of Holy Spirit.
I remember a Cebuano song entitled "Usa ka Pultahan" which means "One Door"in English translation. This song is very meaningful and yet it gives beautiful message to all believers and followers of Christ. The song's title is referring to the door of man's heart that it will not be opened by God alone. According to the song, Jesus always knocks at the door of man's heart and waiting for his response. It was also emphasized that our lives will always be in troubled if God is not present in our hearts.
In the last part of the song, it says that let's open our hearts so that Jesus could get enter to it and salvation will follow. For we can feel the real happiness if we let God controls our lives. Make sure we will cleanse our hearts for His coming and we should be ready at all times. It is not the God who opens the door, He will only knock it. It is us who will unlock the door, and heartily invites Him to stay in our hearts.
I really loved this song in the communion part of the Holy Mass. In fact, I joined the choir to sing that song. It seems that I could feel the heaven's glory everytime I went to church and have worship on Him.
Going back to my topic, don't let your heart be troubled or afraid, but let there be peace on it. If our hearts are preoccupied with different worldly things, I am pretty sure God doesn't want to stay in that place wherein its desire is attached to various deadly sins. But if we let God be the center of our lives and we let Him stay in our hearts, there will be peace in all our actions.
Peace does not only mean an absence of war like what we wished for the two countries fighting one another. We mean peace as there is no crime, no violence and abuses, have s silent place, no shouting and fighting in our community. But there is greater or deeper meaning of peace. As long as God lives in us, and even we are sorounded with toxic people, unhealthy environment, shouting or fighting of people, we are not worried about the troubles we have encountered. There is still peace in our hearts amidst chaos and commotions. We are not affected by the negative happenings because we're confident that God is watching us and willing to help us anytime in tough times.
It is the Love of God that brings us peace. The peace we gained is the fruit of being faithful and obedient to His commandments. So, let's not be worried and our hearts should not be troubled or afraid because God is with us. He is our refuge and He never abandon us.

May the peace of good Lord reigns in our hearts and soul.

I think peace is just feeling which come from our heart by Creator gift.
