Anyeong Chingu! Hope you are alive and still kicking. Sorry for my long absence because I had so much to do and was very busy with personal life. I hope everyone is doing fine, having a great time despite all the struggle in every minute of our life.

Guys, I was browsing on my social media account and I saw this question that I can't stop laughing. Yes, there were lots of statements and promises that my teacher told me when I was in grade school and I found out that those are the biggest lie I ever heard. For sure everyone can relate. Most of our teachers are complete liars, just to push us to study, lol. I am not regretting believing do and but I will not tell a lie with my nephew. However, I will wait till he can believe me truthfully or he can absorb the truth in what I am saying.

So what are the complete words that your teachers told you in school that turn out to be a complete lie? Before I continue, I want to tell you that you should forgive them though, life is never easy to everyone at present. It is just there way to influence you to study hard.

My Teacher told me that when I finish school I could land a job easily

Nope, I didn't. I was stuck at home for 6 months because some of the company are looking for experienced worker while I was a newly graduate. They even posted on the job qualifications that they accept newly graduates but when you are there applying they prefer with experienced with the job. It was not easy. Even if you finish a bachelor degree, some companies will turn you down if you do not fit in the criteria.

The real deal of life is, it could suck! It is full of challenges and struggles. It is the battle of the fit test when you are looking for a job regardless you finish a degree or not in the school. My teacher should say, when you finish school, it could prepare you for a job or your own business that you can earn but it will never be easy.

My Teacher told me that when I have high grades at school, I will be prioritize in different companies I will apply

I remember this teacher of mine in Chemistry, saying the statement above. She said that a higher grades makes you a Vip when you are applying in a job even if you don't experience. When it was told to me, I never stop studying. I was busy collecting good grades. It really pushes me up until college. I said to myself that I should study hard and will never be complacent because surely when I apply in the company I want, I will get prioritize.

The reality slaps me when I started applying for a job. Some of the Hr interviewer didn't even look on my scholastic records and only checked my resume. They even turned me down because of again, lack of experience, but the qualification says they accept newly graduates. I was torn of what to believe.

I got a job, but not related to my course, unfortunately because my course BS Chemistry always prefer people with working experience already. I applied to non-course related and stayed there for a year, then I applied on the job which is course-related after a year. I was hired but working experience is not easy there.

I guess our teachers will push us to have good grades or just to study hard, but not all that we learn in school are being applied at work. It is not bad to have good grades though, that the main goal of a student to be an inspiration to fellow student but I just hope there will be someone that will tell them that they should study hard but accept the reality of life. I wish their parents or guardians will guide them about the life outside school before getting out so that it will not be a traumatic experience to some of them. I pray for every student to have a courage and strength!
