Sekumpul Waterfall, Indonesia
Hidden behind the mountains and steep cliffs of Buleleng, Sekumpul waterfall is the next waterfall in the world that has a stunning view. Standing majestically at an altitude of 80 meters from the bottom of the cliff, the Sekumpul waterfall is one of the waterfall destinations that you shouldn't miss. Not only is the waterfall formation stunning, the Sekumpul waterfall is also shaded by green and fresh tropical forest. Surely a sight that you cannot find anywhere else.
The journey that you have to take to reach the Sekumpul waterfall is not easy. If you depart from Denpasar, you have to drive approximately 2.5 to 3 hours to Buleleng. However, don't worry, along the way you will be spoiled with beautiful views. You can see everything from plantations, rice fields, to the enchanting Lake Bratan on your way to Sekumpul waterfall. Your journey is not finished until you reach the waterfall entrance. When you get there, you have to descend hundreds of steps that continue along the edge of the cliff. Baatara Gorge Falls, Lebanon
Baatara Gorge Waterfall is one of the waterfalls in the world with the most amazing views. The waterfall, which was first discovered by Henri Coiffait in 1952, was formed from the erosion of limestone for millions of years. The beauty of Baatara Gorge waterfall is perfect because of the natural stone bridge formations and the millions of years old cliff and cave formations coupled with the vegetation around this nature reserve site. Not only rock formations, the waterfall itself is a natural masterpiece where water flowing from the top of the cliff immediately falls into a natural sinkhole with a height of 255 meters.
The trip to Baatara Gorge waterfall is not easy, you have to drive 76km which is approximately 2 hours drive from the capital city of Lebanon, Beirut. You can rent a vehicle, but it is preferable to take a taxi or ask a local guide who knows more about the terrain there.
Yosemite Falls, United States
Also known as the “Yosemite FireFall”, Yoesmite Waterfall is one of the most beautiful and majestic waterfalls in the world. This waterfall, located in California, United States, has a height of more than 400 meters from the base of the cliff. To reach Victoria Falls you can drive from the town of Livingstone which is to the north of this waterfall. From there you can start driving south, along the 11km Mosi-oa-Tunya road. Before meeting the border with Zimbabwe, you will find a parking lot where you can park your vehicle and continue your journey on foot to and around Victoria Falls.
McWay Falls, United States
The next waterfall is very unique because this waterfall is also the mouth of a river that ends in the ocean. McWay Waterfall, located in California, United States, flows directly onto the sand of the beach that borders the Pacific Ocean. The beauty of this McWay waterfall is very unique because it is combined with the beautiful views of white sand beaches and rocky cliffs which are immediately greeted by waves from the blue ocean.
To reach McWay waterfall, you just have to go to Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park to drop your vehicle there. Then you can walk through the tunnel under the Pacific Coast toll road. From there you can continue the journey by climbing the stairs to the top of the cliff. Arriving at the top of the cliff, you will find a waterfall in this very unique world.
