The Oppressed and the Oppressor. (Poor school system)

In what more ways can I describe knowledge. Do we not know everything at our adolescence, is it not what we have been taught at school or was it not our parents that raised us in their wisdom. Train a child they say, in the good ways that when he grows up, he will never let go the good ways already impacted on him.

Most time times, I ask myself the difference between what I was told is wise, and what the street say is Wise. The summary now is that no one wants to go by the process. What is happening, and who is to blame? The result is what we want it to happen and at all cost.

The basic is what we were told but what we see now is the opposite. Follow the basics and delay your time they say. It not a thing of basics anymore, it now about updates, it now about what's trending.

All my days, I never knew there would be a time like this. A time when wealth is rushed and not being waited for . A time where no one serves anyone to become a master. People who were being served are now the people who serve and people who were serving are now the masters.

We were told those days that education is the only key to success, we believed and gave our best to get a good certificate, to secure a better future for ourselves according to our merits. Along the way, we battled an opposition which says that education is never the only key to success. Life hits hard, the school we trust closes and refuses to open. What happened? they say they are on strike. Again we feel bad, siding the opposite again and the people who say that school is scam. Now they have more reasons to be firm in there believe. They call us school and we call them street, two opposites .

We run to them, we join their charade but soon enough, our school starts again and this time we are the winners. Sometimes, not the number of people who were awaiting school opening will go back to school. Street have won their souls and they are at frontage that as school is scam.

Are they correct? is school really a scam? these and more comes to our mind after every strike action, which definitely repeats every year. With this little faith, it will never stop. What do we do, believe in street or school? At this time, people's desire cuts down and zeal to further drops low. Like a fat elephant, we go to school hoping that one day, it will be over . But that one day skips every year. The strike action repeats again and adds another year to the already remaining.

By this time, the people who left the school for the streets are no longer the same people we use to know. They are successful in there street career and business. They try to see is and with our school bags we run away from them, we drop them off and take a bold step at them. We cheer together and live together but when the bell rings, we go to our school and they go to their cars.

What are we studying for they keep asking. is the goal not to be successful, is the goal of education not to be rich? come! they say. Follow me and I will show you the way. The way to be successful here. Leave your education and follow my orientation, join the street and learn BTC, then quit school and unlearn ABC.

Street impresses and school depresses, nobody wants to be depressed and switches to become impressed. The outcome is felt by both the impressed and the depressed. The consequences of quick wealth is heard from everywhere as the crime rates among men rises.

With all these happening, Who is to be blamed? the school or the street. Maybe the people who has the progress of the nation and failed to do their job are to be blamed. School needs fund to run and the people responsible for the fund, funds their pockets and let the school stop With students sitting at home. Out if frustration finds a way to ease themselves on the street and makes their way from there.

When will this stop. When will the right things be done as it is agreed to be done without redundancy. They claim to be good but little do they know that there head are like bread, baked without a flour. They blame the youths for choosing the wrong way forgetting the right way they blocked and left people stranded along the way. They see faults not among themselves but among the people. They refuse to fix the root and tackle the leaves. What a shame to a nation that has legs but cannot walk, stalked in a place eating her own resources.

"Dear readers, this article was inspired by the wrong and very poor education system in my country. All the federal universities have been Locked up for the past three months and no news about resuming yet. Students are getting tired and many have made up their minds not to go to school again even if they resume tomorrow. So many students who just have less than one month to graduate are being held by the strike action in a federal university. The crime rate in my country is on a daily increase, cases of scammers everywhere by the quest to get rich . So many young people are into money rituals, fraud and other vices just to get rich. So many things that breaks my heart to say, all because of the poor education system. So many students now believe that school is a scam, meaning that there is no point going to school again. I do not blame them, I blame the poor system in a rich country"
