My article today lovelies, is based on the travellers, either by air or road, water or other medium. Every day from January through December, people move from place to place to catch up with what they are after and what is after them, using whatever means available. Let say the road users for instance. Every means of transportation has its rules and regulations guiding them and I believe we know the importance of these rules and signs. The outcome if they are not duly observed could be so hazardous and disastrous, risking lives and property. Being careful while using the road should be a personal instruction and cautiousness. Making use of the available road signs and figures.

It is just so risky and unfortunate that people carelessly use the road and abuse the signs, playing with their life and other serious people's lives. This level of carelessness which attracts punishment and sanctions from the road safety are seen repeatedly daily in this local area. It popular believed that "you ride for others as you ride for yourself "Even when the other person is wrong, it is still the person on the right to see things through. When something like this happens in Nigeria, abuses will rain down on both parties. Even on lucky occasions, they assume a quarrel in fight for their rights.

Life is delicate. It should be treated with care. We all have one life and none has ever boasted of two. This means that when we die, we die and it's over. People still die but the pain of dying in an accident could be unbearable. so many places here In Nigeria are no good roads. People are still seen over speeding and recklessly driving. Last month, one of my cousin was traveling on a bus and they had an accident on their way back after a successful going. According to her, it happened that their bus was on speed and another truck in front was at speed too. A tricycle was crossing without putting on the right signal. He signaled right instead of left. The tricycle driver was carrying two hundred crates of eggs. As he put the wrong signal and went the opposite direction, the truck behind it and in front of my cousins bus applied a force break trying to avoid hitting the tricycle. At the same time, my cousins bus tried to prevent hitting the truck and swive left out of his lane, hitting the tricycle and damaging numbers of eggs. The scene was a sorry as it was the tricycle who caused it had the best part of the launch he served.

Instead of thanking God for no casualties or injuries, just damaged eggs, the tricycle driver was mad at the bus and wanted a fight with the driver. No doubts, he angrily lost some crates of eggs. Who knows if he was on a delivery errand or the egg belongs to him. Now this scene and bad luck for the egg man reminds me of the saying that; he who lives in a glass house should not throw stones. What a beautiful bad day he cooked and ate the lions share.I felt bad fr him on hearing the news though.

My cousin went ahead to tell me that; she has been traveling by bus to that same place she went,but that for the first time without praying in the bus( general prayer) this accident happened. She actually prays on her way going and coming back. I immediately the bus is about to leave, someone will take a lead in a short prayer asking God for save Trav and journey mercies. This was like a wow! to me and I said; "sis! for real!" wasn't funny though but we thanked God for no injuries and casualty. The tricycle driver was conveying the two hundreds crates of eggs from the poultry to the retail when he by mistake got himself in a mess. The truck driver a d the bus driver agreed to contribute any amount for him as compensation before they all left the scene.

It could happen to anyone, even the walker way. Accident is just so uncalled for and when it happens without any bad stories on humans, I think it is something to thank God or whatever we believe in. It is not wise of the tricycle driver to start an argument and blame the others. What if he was lying helplessly on the floor crying for help. Would he have had the energy to charge up negatively? no.

A traditionalist here in Africa would pray and call on his or her believe to guide them on any trip they are embarking on. Same way with others.

Wether right or wrong, the dead and injured has the bitter part of the ugly soup. Generally, while using the road, either by driving or walking, accident could happen. Be alert on air, water and land.
