Home Sick 🥺!

Good morning 🌅 fellow read stars. The sun is up here in my country after a day with a difference; another good day of January, 2022. My shout out to everyone and I hope you all have a nice day. The first month of the year is just a day close to it's quarter time. The last seven days of this new year has been good and I hope we all have enjoyed it for good.

The holiday will soon be over for me as I have in plan to travel back to school. Seems like I am left alone here because most of my friends are already at school with their engine warming and getting ready for the ride: I have received lots of phone calls from friends asking my whereabouts. They all wanted to know if I am back to school but disappointedly, I am not.

It unbelievable to say that I am not back to school yet. I am still at home with my parents. "Home sweet home"; they say, but now it gradually turning and tasting sour to me. These few weeks of break seems like an overstay to me now at home. House choirs and other household works is getting into my nerves a lot .

It was fun at first After few days I came back but, I guess to say that I ate the flesh and the bone is left. Stress! Stress! Stress!

Who will wash the dishes? Me. Who cleans the house? Me. who makes food? Me. Ouch! Who assists me? Me/none.. is this fair? Nooooo!!

I used to have siblings, three of them but now, where are they? At there husband's place, married and living well with their family. It only just that no one scolds me anymore. Am not the last born thigh but he is staying with my married sister. They didn't even bother to call at us through this festive season.

I love staying with my parents during holidays but this particular holiday is kinda different from others. Probably because of my younger brothers absence. Have you ever imagined not being the last born and having your other siblings doing the house work and other little domestics; then one day you happen to be the last born by chance and play the role of your siblings in the house? Ouch! I bet you wouldn't fit well to the choirs and even though you do, there's no way you are doing it whole heartedly.

Since my days as a kid, I never liked washing dishes. I once wished that washing machine for clothes could do the job. I would have been a champion in washing of dishes. Poor me thinking out loud!😂 My thoughts couldn't save me because I was given a little punishment everytime I failed to wash the dishes on my turn.

Now I am the last child home and I am the only one doing the choirs and running errands. This is really not by choice but rather by faith and I have embraced my faith since Christmas holiday till present. I pray this should have an end soon.

I am fully prepared with my luggages arranged for traveling by next week. I have always wanted to leave but my cousin who went home for the season will be back on Sunday. This Sunday seems like another full weeks interval. I miss school and miss it a lot. I can't wait to take my phone calls and answer yes; I came back just now! That gonna be a wow!

As soon as my cousin shows back, will have my break for a that day and zoom off the next day. Home is sweet but overstay is bitter. I prefer visiting on an interval to staying home full time. My days here at home has been awesome but I really think that the best for now is traveling back to school and continuing with studies. I wish tomorrow is Sunday!
