We can achieve more when United.

Unity is the key to achieving success, it is easier to work together and achieve success with people who have the same goal. Many people do not understand the power of unity, in it resides love and peace.

I have said times without numbers that unity is the major thing missing in the world, the world would have been a better place if we are all united. We would have achieved more than what the world looks like now if we have combined efforts but unfortunately, we are obsessed with feeling that we are superior to one another.

The king hated the new habit of his children, they were all after the throne; he was old and knew sooner or later, he will need to hand the throne over to someone.

There will be lots of trouble if he doesn't teach them to love themselves, he became worried and called his advisors for ideas but none came up with one. That night, the king came up with an idea. He called his children and told them that he needs to appoint his successor but first he had a test for them.

While they were talking, an assassin attacked the palace. He was too skillful and strong that the guards couldn't hold him down, he found his way into the king's chambers while he was talking to his sons.

The assassin challenged the king but he was too old to fight so he agreed that his children could fight for him, the king promised to hand over the throne to whoever helped him defeat the assassin. The princes took turns but were no match for the assassin, the king told them to fight together to defeat the assassin but they didn't agree to that because they didn't want to share the throne with anyone.

They wanted the glory individually, they kept taking turns until they were tired. The assassin advance on the king and threatened to take his head, the children couldn't help but rushed to their father's aid at once. They fought the enemy together and conquered him, they were about to kill the assassin when the king instructed them to stop.

He told them to release the assassin, they did as instructed. The assassin removed his mask and it turned out to be the leader of the royal warrior, they didn't believe their eyes because he was supposed to be at protecting and not attacking the king.

"How dare you attack the king?", one of the princes picked up his sword but the king intervened. The King told his son that they have just finished the test, and the leader of the royal guard went to kneel before the king.

Everyone including the other guards was confused, the king shed more light on the quick drama. He faced the guards and said, "your leader is not an assassin, I told him to do this for a reason because I know he can't be defeated by anyone in the kingdom. He told them to return to their position while he went into his chamber with the children.

He sat them down and asked if they would have conquered the enemy without joining their effort together, they answered "no". He emphasized why they need to be united and work together as brothers. He further asked that, how many people are working with him to rule the kingdom, they went on to mention the names and among them were the brothers of the king.

He made it clear that one man can't rule and the most loyal people you can have around you are your family else such a king won't last. One of you will be king but others must support him to have a successful reign and whichever of you becomes the king must take proper care of the others.

The princes learned a great lesson and vowed to work together, their father soon passed away and they all joined hands to continue the good works of their father in the kingdom.
