Everything about life comes in stages and I believe it is not just about humans, the plants, the weathers all have stages even though they can't be compared to human stages in life. We weren't born big or whatever size we fall into, we go through the different stages to become what we are today and at a point, we will all be history.
As you know, that my posts are mostly inspired by the things I see around or read about. I love sharing my thoughts and ideas about things with lots of people so that they can share their points of view with me as well.
A topic was discussed on the radio earlier today and the presenter asked the listeners that "What is the most important stage of a human in life?", there were lots of responses and it was a very funny conversation due to the people that called in. Despite the numerous callers, I was surprised nobody saw things from my point of view and I wasn't interested in calling because I have tried on several occasions that didn't go through.
Many of the callers chose the youth stage which is the beginning of the journey to adulthood as the most important because they feel it is the beginning of every human freedom and everything we will become in life starts from the stage. I won't do away with that fact but l want to be clear about it that life before the youth stage isn't a way and an error during those stages before can ruin a person's life forever.
What is the most important stage of a human in life?
The human stage according to age can be classified into four parts which are:
Childhood
Teenage
Adulthood
Aged adult
The childhood stage is not seen as an important stage because as a child, we don't get to make decisions by ourselves. It might not be important to the child because of his/her little reasoning ability but it is important to the parent or guardian of the child because every little error mistake they make on the child can have a terrible impact on the child's future. It could be education, health, environment, or anything and mustn't be taken lightly.
In the world today, we have seen adults who are still struggling to survive the errors made on them by their parent or guardian and this would make me conclude the childhood is a very crucial stage for every human.
The teenage stage is a very tempting one, it is a step away from freedom and things done at this stage could also affect the future. Why do I refer to it as a stage with just one step away from freedom?
The education system in the world today is pretty fast and student gain admission into higher institutions at adolescence age which allows them to live the life they wish since they are out of reach of their parent. Teens today easily get exposed to lots of danger out there because they misunderstand their little freedom for adulthood, it is a very crucial stage as well.
A child with a good background can get corrupted due to the freedom and exposure they have away from home, so I tell parents not to be too sure about what their kids are doing out there when they are away from home. Teens believe that they are old enough to make decisions and it is the work of the parent or guardian to make understand the risk attached to everything they are doing because it might have a negative effect on the future as well.
Adulthood is the biggest of all stages but not the most important for me despite the responsibilities attached to the stage, you do be wondering why I said it is not the most important.
If we term it as the most important, it means the efforts of guardians or parent doesn't matter after all which is wrong to say. Adulthood is a difficult one because there might be no time for correction. After all, life is short and we can't say when our time will be up. It is a time to explore with care and get the best out of life but it requires lots of wisdom to go through the stage successfully.
During adulthood, you are responsible for everything which includes your action and decision as well.
The aged adult is the final stage of every human life and sometimes doesn't have lots of things attached to it because the things we do in the previous stage which is adulthood most times determine the final stage.
We think it is over at this stage but it isn't because this stage requires us to pass knowledge and ideas completely to the coming adults or generation.
In conclusion, every stage matters because each stage influences the next and that makes every stage very important. It is impossible to bypass a stage in human life, there is a purpose for every stage we are designed to go through in life and that's we must take the stages important.
As parents we must handle the stages we need to for our kids, parents job doesn't end at adolescent because they can still guide their children even when they become adult.
