For Those Who Remembered Another day had passed, how was your day? Is there something you wanna talk about? Are you okay? Remember you got this. We never know how powerful this question/phrase can be especially for those who currently facing a struggle. I would be very pleased to have someone that would check up on me and listen to each of my stories even though some of them might be nonsense, isn't it nice having someone that you can lean on in times of trouble. A lot of people are just afraid to open up a conversation due to anxiety they probably think that they might get criticized if they talk about themselves and whether they admit it or not they also wished to be asked this type of question. I guessed every one of us wanted to ask how was our day or just a simple "are you okay?". Having someone who checks up on you and remembers every small detail that you've said is such a blessing in disguise. Most of us haven't had an open relationship with our parents, these people tend to get envy by their friends who had a good relationship with their parents and I was honestly part of these people. Ever since I was a child it was just hard for me to open up things to my parents. I don't know why I find it so hard to be vulnerable in front of them, countless times I've felt so empty and I pitied myself for that since I couldn't bring it up to someone. Yes, I had friends but sharing your thoughts isn't easy as making jokes with them so I often chose to keep it for myself rather than ruining their mood. Not until I found online platforms where I could write about my thoughts which somehow helps me to cope up with this anxious feeling. I know how it felt to be empty and alone, therefore as much as possible I love being around people who needed a friend to rely on. I would be their shoulder to lean on and I would listen to their problems as a return to those who remember me in my darkest times. **Disclaimer:** I am neither a psychologist nor a financial advisor, and all of my pieces were done for entertainment purposes only. Hundred Days and After The Philippines is known for having the longest Christmas celebration. The one hundred-day countdown to Christmas begins on September 1st, and this is known as the "Ber Months season." The onset of the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) was one of the major factors that triggered this sort of cold weather during this season. In comparison to a typical month like summer, the daytime is also faster and shorter this season. Even before the first day of December, many of the houses were decked out in Christmas decorations, ensuring that the entire area remained bright despite the sky's rapid darkening. The start of the Misa de Gallo on December 16 also signifies the beginning of Christmas carols in the vicinity of individuals of all ages. Aside from that, there was a hundred-day countdown that was broadcast on television stations, radio stations, and other media platforms. But this great tradition that our country has been stalled due to the COVID 19 pandemic since the year 2020. Many of these celebrations, practices, and gatherings are restricted for the sake of protecting everyone's health. Many young folks have been eager to play outside again without restrictions over the past year, and now, before the end of this year, the year 2021 these youth were given the opportunity to do a Christmas carol within their neighborhood. This is due to a decrease in COVID 19 cases in certain parts of the country. The children were also given the opportunity to celebrate Christmas yet again in an old normal manner, just yesterday, many children eagerly went to their *ninong and ninang*'*s* (godparents) house to ask for an *aguinaldo* (Christmas gift). Though the day had come to an end, and young people were still scattered throughout the streets. Children can be seen playing and enjoying Christmas Day even in public places such as malls. It's great to see the kids having a good time this Christmas, and it's delightful that they are able to celebrate the holiday without any restriction once more just like the old days. Many young people have apparently been still going door to door asking for *aguinaldo*, indicating that the Philippine Christmas celebration does not truly end in the one hundred days countdown. **Disclaimer:** I am neither a psychologist nor a financial advisor, and all of my pieces were done for entertainment purposes only. Panuluyan Sa Pagsalubong From my previous post, I shared these past experiences of mine being a school and parish performer. I am a few of those students who enjoyed participating in such activities that would help to enhance my skills. *Society of Performing Arts* (SPA) is a school club that was established to enhance one's talent in singing, dancing, acting, or anything related to arts. Those who are a part of the organization usually perform at a special event at school as well as special holiday celebrations in our Parish church. In our school, they had these practices that trained elementary students to perform in front of many people as well as the theater arts subject for Junior High School that encourage and honed one's talent. I am now in my second year in college, I am no longer a performer in our former school and in our Parish church. I haven't attended any of my former school's events in years, so I'm not sure who the new generation of performers who have taken over the organization is. In tonight's mass in celebration of Christmas Eve before the mass starts there would be a performance led by our former school. I knew some of the actors but the majority of them were new faces in stages. *Panuluyan is* a dramatization performance held as commemorating the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. A Catholic tradition that church parishes in each area continue the reenactment of the sacrifice of Joseph and Mary’s conception of the child of God. While the *Pagsulubong* is termed used to welcome something. To relate it in Catholic activities in such holidays celebrations like today which is Christmas, it is to welcome the day of the annual reenactment of the birth of the Lord Jesus. The SPA organization made their announcement a week ahead of the performance, therefore, the majority of the people in our barangay knew that there would be a presentation of *panuluyan* before the mass begin, a reason for worshippers to be more engaged to attend mass a lot earlier. At exactly eight o'clock in the evening the Panuluyan begin, it was like watching a live musical show. I got goosebumps watching this new generation of performers on stage. There is no doubt that the talent of their generation surpassed our previous performances before. I was proud to see them as our colleagues, and I felt old watching them since some of them were only pre-schoolers during our time and now looking at them as they turn into these great performers, it was indeed marvelous. My newborn nephew has taken the part to be the little baby Jesus in their performance I felt like in the near future he and his older brother would be taking my place as a school/parish performer. I felt a bit of nostalgia seeing all of them perform, I kind of miss the feeling that burst on my body whenever we perform back then, the satisfaction right after we heard the crowd cheer and clap their hands at the end of our performance. May all of these performers continue to serve with all their hearts. **Disclaimer:** I am neither a psychologist nor a financial advisor, and all of my pieces were done for entertainment purposes only. Merry of Our December Everyone is ecstatic that a new member of our family, a healthy baby boy, has finally arrived.  I was already an aunt before he arrived, but believe me when I say that I'm still not very good at holding an infant; they're just so delicate, and it terrifies me. Anyway, I'm glad he's out in the world I guessing after a month or two, and I presume I could hold her with courage already. Having a baby in the family reaffirms this sense of adult responsibility. I'm the type of person who enjoys being around children and they're so adorable and their curiosity can be hilarious at times. I enjoy having children around as it helps me to relax. It's been a week since he came out to this wonderful world. Our family and my sister-in-law's family have been devoted worshippers in our parish church, a year ago my first nephew took part to act as Sto. Nino during its celebration and yesterday for the reenactment of the Panuluyan our newborn baby took part as the little baby Jesus aren't they cute? Both of them are already involved in such activities like this, how we wish they grew up as a God-fearing child and continue to serve in our Parish church like their father (my older brother) who was once an altar server. As their *tita-ninang (aunt/godmother)* I'll try my best to be on their side as they grew up, I will always watch them fail as it helps them grow. Teach them that losing or failing in such terms doesn't always mean that we also need to lose our hope and dedication, it is just a stepping stone of their progress to achieve each of their goal in life. **Disclaimer:** I am neither a psychologist nor a financial advisor, and all of my pieces were done for entertainment purposes only. Blessed To Have Them Earlier today during the 9th day of our Misa de Gallo our parish church ask us during the homily, "Who here are about to complete the Misa de Gallo today?" and it is followed by his second question "Who here already received what they wished for to have?" I am a few of these people who raised their hands. This year ar 2021 has been a tough year for me but there are also good things that happened. I've come to this realization of how blessed I was despite my flaws. Besides I had this life, I'm thankful to have a family like my own who shaped me into an independent person as I grew up. Proud of my parents how they discipline us three of us grew up, they may not be as expressive as many parents do but they show their love to us in a different form. Both of them had this character of being thrifty and diligent, they raised us with things that were already used by our relatives. We rarely spend on things that we didn't really need so as we grow up we cannot avoid envying our friends who had branded stuff but now as I get older I realized how lucky I was and how those practices make me a wise spender. I do love to have stuff from my favorite brand but I'd rather save it for more necessary stuff that I could use in the future. Life status does not hold our future, our decision does. With the help and guidance of our parents, we've become the person, not the way we wanted to be but little by little we become this person that we admire in our life without even realizing it. I was supposed to post this, this afternoon but I got caught up in a hectic situation since I help my sister-in-law babysit her son and prepare some food for our Noche Buena. Merry Christmas everyone may God's grace touch those in need and bless everyone's soul with much more blessings. **Disclaimer:** I am neither a psychologist nor a financial advisor, and all of my pieces were done for entertainment purposes only. Keep On Believing I have been planning to buy my dream oven but since then, I've been resisting the urge to buy it right away because I believe I could get it for a little less cheap if I wait it to be on sale. December 23rd the day I marked all year long to purchase the oven that I really wanted to buy, I already had the money to buy it I just assumed that I could get it with a little discount during this holiday season. After attending mass (Misa de Gallo), I rushed through all of my house chores so that I could get to the supermarket as early as possible. Even my mother expected me to be able to buy it that day, and we had already decided not to order any more cakes for the Noche Buena seeing as we planned to bake our own. But it turns out that the oven that I desired for so long was out of stock at the moment, I had my regrets about why I didn't buy it back then. But, at the same time, I wondered if God had found a way for me to prevent purchasing the oven initially, maybe He still have a plan for me before having my very own oven. In the homily this morning, it was said that the sentimental value of every gift can be found not in the cover that wraps around it, but in what was inside that gift. talented and strong charisma but more important are the wills and traits that a person has. This little token for myself which is my very own oven, maybe it's not the right time for me to have it. Those gifts for myself were a great help for me, but perhaps there are other things I'll need to have first, so the Lord made He's way to didn't give it to me first. Rather than being disappointed today, I try to think optimistically about the days ahead. Even if I couldn't have the oven now, I'm hopeful I'll have one soon. Things don't always go as planned, and many of them have been ruined, but it is up to us to choose how we respond to every simple challenge that God has placed in front of each of our desires. Failures, problems, and disappointment those things were part of our life that we couldn't escape unless we found a solution to each of them. There are many things we should be grateful for, on a daily basis, all we have to do is trust the Lord's decision since He will not let us down.

I haven't posted an update in days because I've been working on finishing all of the activities in my queue; however, I was able to complete three of them in my Google Classroom. However, I still have tasks to do after the holidays. Felt like college students were deprived of having a Christmas vacation. Advance Merry Christmas everyone :)

A Relational Dynamic Modeled By Parents Every care and guidance our parents give us has an impact not only on our personality but also on our relationships with others since our brain develops depending upon the guidance and discipline of our parents. Since I grew up in a large family which I had a lot of cousins from both sides which has various genders besides men and women like those in LGBTQ's and since my parents are friendly in nature as I grew up I have this thought that it is fine to befriend with my opposite gender as well as to those in LGBTQ communities. I grew up with the first thing we were taught, to be self-sufficient and independent which gives me a greater opportunity to make decisions based on knowledge I also realized that when it comes to socializing with other people in other places it is not new for me to befriend with them and adapt their cultures. Relating to the relationship opposite gender they won't dictate me but they only provide reminders for better decision-making on how to deal with them better. They won't force me to believe what they believed instead they nurture me to learn from my own mistakes and to be competent enough to solve a problem on my own which is sufficient to develop our own sets of knowledge from our experiences. I'm a Catholic and that is the reason I guess why I don't support such an idea of abortion and same-sex marriage but it doesn't mean that I lose my respect for them. I had friends which happened to be part of the LGBTQ community they all pretty much had partners, I mean they are in a relationship and I support them as long as it doesn't harm me I don't see any reason to be against it. Yes I do have these beliefs of my but my friends are more important than that, all that matters was how we socialize with each other and respect each other thoughts. Aside from our parents while I was growing up my older brother used to educate me about various things or sometimes I just overheard their conversation from different subjects of life. Most of them influence my own personal beliefs as I experience what they used to encounter while growing up, there's this one piece of advice that they used to say to me even when I was a child and it is to choose to shut my mouth whenever I don't have a good thing to say. As I grow older I just realized how important this phase is, it helps me somehow not to speak up much of my thought if I were against someone's belief. I presume it is pretty important since for the sake of your friend or for someone that you couldn't agree with their belief staying quiet is more like respecting each other's thoughts than counterarguing it. What older people believe has a huge impact on a child's personal beliefs and characteristics and as an aunt, I'm hoping that I could pass down these things that I have learned through the years. As an adult at the right age, let us not ruin one's beliefs by dictating them lets leave them to experience such things that would change what they used to believe, let's just support and respect each other's beliefs. **Disclaimer:** I am neither a psychologist nor a financial advisor, and all of my pieces were done for entertainment purposes only. Reach Through One's Soul Not only has research shown that music can improve one's mental health by reducing distress and trying to elevate mood, but it also believes that it can reach the listener's soul. There are many different genres of music, such as pop, jazz, country, and hip hop, but my personal favorite is religious music. As Christmas approaches, you'll hear the traditional Christmas songs being played on the radio. Some of it comes from radio stations, televisions, your neighbor's house playing it loudly, or children's songs that are sung in the neighborhood every evening. Church songs sung during mass ceremonies, on the other hand, are among the most beautiful to listen to. Because of the beautiful melody of each song or hymn, I couldn't help but sing along with the choirs. As I listened and sang my heart out, it felt as if it was reaching my soul. A blessed morning everyone, today was our third-day attending *simbang gabi*, and we were hoping to make it nine days in a row. It felt incredible to begin each day with God's words, today's homily talks about how Joseph supported and believed Mary in her pregnancy with our Dear Lord Jesus. Pregnancy before marriage was considered a major sin at the time, and women who committed this sin were sentenced to death by throwing rocks continuously. It's astounding how Jose protects Mary and the Lord while he's still in her womb, acting as the Lord's father and guiding him as he grows up. It was also mentioned that the custom of marrying two couples before starting a family was slowly fading, which was one of the factors contributing to it was the aggressiveness of young adults. It is unavoidable, but on the other hand, each child in their womb is a gift from God. I want able to attach here the video documentation that I captured earlier it was the choir while they were singing the ending song. **Disclaimer:** I am neither a psychologist nor a financial advisor, and all of my pieces were done for entertainment purposes only. A New Hello Amidst of This Turbulence Year In every goodbye, there is always God who gives us another hello. The same year 2021 is a tumultuous one for me, and it is indeed not my year. It's just a shame because, with everything I've been through this year, one of the most difficult things has been letting my best friend Vana go. There are many ups and downs throughout the year, as well as the many memories we made with my pet, but it turned out that it would all be the last. Last October 4 he runs free from this world it just still break my heart I cannot move forward from the pain that I'm still suffering. Each part of the house still reminds me of my pet. During a holiday season like this, when I used to attend mass every dawn or what we called the Misa de Gallo, Vana always accompany me, so most of the time being alone isn't a bother for me since I had my dog. It felt strange now that every time I prepare up for church, I felt as if something was missing as if I were incomplete. My dog has always been on my mind, and it's always the "Vana supposed to be with me now". When I started calling him "Vana tara sisimba" (Vana, let's go to mass), I remember his face getting excited. Last year, I dressed him up for Christmas, and it was absolutely adorable and priceless. It's just so hard without him being around, I miss him so much, I miss him so much that I couldn't hold back tears during mass earlier today as I remembered him wandering around the church back then while waiting for me. I'm still at the pace of moving on from losing my dog, it's very hard but maybe part of the process is for me to go back to the places we used to go to so that I can accept that I only have happy memories of him. I'm still grieving the loss of my dog; it's difficult, but perhaps part of the healing process is for me to return to the places we used to visit so that I can accept that I only have happy memories of him. I do believe in saying that in every goodbye, there is always God who gives us another hello. Before this year ends were expecting a new member of the family I'm just excited about his arrival in this world. Hoping that I could be a good aunt for him as he grow up. Death is a part of life that everyone cannot escape, so does goodbyes. The only thing that could help to free us from the pain that we experience was acceptance and just to treasure everything that we had from that very special someone that once become part of our life.

Misa de Gallo The 16th of December is the first of nine days of Misa de Gallo, also known as *Simbang Gabi.* Filipino Catholics have a tradition of going to church at dawn as a symbol of sacrifice in waking up early to attend mass and to prepare for the Lord Jesus' birthday celebration. Kids of all ages participate in the said tradition, which is one of the practices that has been impacted by the pandemic that is still sweeping the world. It's worth noting that they haven't wavered in their commitment to their beliefs over the last three years. During the peak of the pandemic, every Catholic parish held a live mass on social media platforms using modern technology. Despite the strict protocols, this allowed every member of the church to still preach the gospel. The implemented safety implementations are still being used to continue to reduce the rising number of positive cases in every part of our country. As of now, our town is one of the places where this type of mass celebration has gone quite active this holiday season. This is also because the majority of our neighbors have already gone to our local municipality to get vaccinated. In addition, the number of cases with positive outcomes in our municipality is steadily decreasing. Apart from the belief that a person's request will be fulfilled when he or she has attended nine church nights, there is also the belief that it will be fulfilled gradually. We had this thing that we looked forward to and it is to see our fellow performer from our school performs. I just wanted to share this wonderful experience that we had in the past during the normal holiday season. It was more of a tradition in our school parish to have a competition. From elementary to senior high school, I attended the Catholic School in our barangay, which is affiliated with our parish. Every year, there's is this competition and the theme varies depending on the faculty and parish priest which also happens to be the school director's decision. Musical plays, dramatizations, choral competitions, and dance competitions are just a few of the competitions we hold every year during this month. We perform before the start of the mass as entertainment for those who come to church in order to avoid drowsiness while waiting for the mass to begin. That was our good old days; time flies so quickly. I miss performing in front of people and entertaining them with my talent. Due to the pandemic, such activity has declined since classes are now held online in order to ensure the safety of students and teachers while they continue to study. But, once the pandemic is over, I'm looking forward to seeing my alumni perform in our parish church. **Disclaimer:** I am neither a psychologist nor a financial advisor, and all of my pieces were done for entertainment purposes only. Pamumungkal: Filipino Term Used by Teenagers Contrary to popular belief, we in a rural area in this province that is thought to be the type of person who does not go out at night and prefers to stay in the era of doing traditional deeds for a living. Young adults are rarely seen during the day in our community, the majority of those of this age are seen outside mostly at night. As most of them try to complete household chores at home, complete their schoolwork, or attend to their part-time job, nighttime was the only time they could spend with their friends outside of their homes. After the sun sets, you can see this youth gradually emerge in the street for walks, chitchats in the street, eating out, or even a small gathering in one's home. *Walwal* is a term used among this young generation to describe a small celebration held for no reason, a night out to unwind. My friends and I have formed a group called *"Acads with Lakad"* (Academic with errand). We had known each other since junior high, and this circle was conveniently located in my neighborhood, making it easy to meet up. We were studying for different degrees, but whenever we got together, we always talked about academics. We assist each other academically, In my case, I'm not good at math, so I usually bring up math topics during our errands. On the other hand, I'm good at cooking, so while they were discussing other topics related to school papers, I prepared a snack or even a rice meal for them. We usually get together on weekends, or if there is a video execution that needs to be done outside, such as performing martial arts, we do so in a nearby court or field. After we finished shooting the video or doing any of the other activities, we went to each other's houses and had a *lutuan* (cook our snack/dinner). While eating happily at a single table, we talk about things we've done throughout the day and remind ourselves that nearly handing out was worthwhile because we completed one activity in a day together, and it was just a goal that we'd met. *Pamumungkal* is a term used to describe someone who sneaks out at night and eats leftovers when they return home. I usually make *pamumungkal* whenever I get home, but I was in the mood to eat every night after we finished our errands. The only thing that we *pamumungkal* warriors faced is when there is no leftover rice or dish, meaning that we don’t need to eat just go directly to bed and sleep and wait until tomorrow morning for breakfast. Every night was exciting enough; anticipating what to eat before going to bed was like treasure hunting for us, if there was food, we would win, but if there was none, we would lose. So yeah I just wanted to share this experience of mine here as a young adult in the province. **Disclaimer:** I am neither a psychologist nor a financial advisor, and all of my pieces were done for entertainment purposes only. Walking in the Dessert: A Self Introspection Whenever we want space, we found a place that we settle and quiet to be free from reality and be creative from your own thoughts and imagination. A state of enlightenment and harmony that is achieved whenever we had a chance to do the things that we loved, for not being afraid of what could possibly that result of these doing and to fulfill the missing part of ourselves. At the moment that I calm my mind, I started to reminisce the unforgettable moments that I treasure the most. The very first thing that I remember is when I was at my grandmother house we use to do a slight activity like these after eating those moments up until now were very precious to mine those are the times when she notices that I was a bit gloomy she started to stand beside me and start joking around, I also remember when she taught me to cook a variety of food that she loved to serve, she used to boast to our neighbors how proud she is that I can cook in my very young age, she was always there for me and I can felt that she was very proud of me this is the main reason how she became my inspiration whenever I was competing in a competition. At some point, I momentarily forgot the things I was having trouble with. I remember the times when I was still in high school and I was not so brave for myself and how I gradually overcame some of the things I was afraid of with the help of my former school teachers. In addition, I also remember those times when we hang out together with my siblings and I suddenly missed those hours as well as my friends that I used to be within the junior year. Suddenly My dreams crossed my mind I started to wonder how will my life goes after I graduated there was this urge to that I should finish my degree immediately since I cannot wait until I go to my dream country. It comes so fast I did not manage the time that I had and forty-five minutes already passed by I did not realize how this kind of activity can put me into a calm state of mind. What I have just realized is that walking can be a good way to reduce stress and to unwind a bit. As the breeze crossed to my skin while I was walking it felt like it slowly reduces the negativity that I felt. Walking just got great help to reduce the anxiety that we had it helps us to relax and scientifically speaking it helps to improve our blood circulation and improves our stamina. It might be the reason why after I went home, I felt refresh and able to do some of my daily chores actively.  As I was walking it is inevitable to have a distraction, is probably that the first cause of distraction for me is my cellphone so before I left the house I left it and I just wear a watch so I can still track my time while I was executing the activity. I walked in the field so it was very quiet and peaceful around but despite this, there was still had a disturbance, some dogs who from nearby houses kept on barking me but that is their natural sense so I just ignore it and continuously walked since it could be a problem when I pay more attention to them, they would probable chase me. I finished my walk and luckily I did not encounter any other problems other than the dog, it was indeed one good exercise to start my day **Disclaimer:** I am neither a psychologist nor a financial advisor, and all of my pieces were done for entertainment purposes only. Meet Our Little Kuya I'm just amazed at how adorable kids can be. Adults were divided into people who dislike kids and I'm on the other who adored kids so much, I just found this little person so interesting. They were so curious about their surroundings and very eager to learn. They're made up stories of how they wanted to be in their future is fun listening to. It just felt like spending time with them is like I became a child for a moment. Meet my nephew he just turn two and was also expecting another baby her soon-to-be litter brother. I enjoyed babysitting him every time, he's polite but can be a handful at times, and I understand that he's just curious about how the world works. Because they still stutter with words, kids his age are starting to develop words and phrases that can be very cute when they are pronouncing them. They required more attention and guidance at this point in their lives. As a child grows, what they see from their guardian will shape their personalities. As his aunt and godmother, all I want to do is help him grow up to be a great kid, so I'm careful about the words I use when I babysit him because he quickly adapts to what I say even if he doesn't understand what I'm saying. How I wish I could turn back time and stay as a child forever that keeps on dreaming by their positive views in life. It's just nice to have a child around as it relieves some of the stress in our lives. **Disclaimer:** I am neither a psychologist nor a financial advisor, and all of my pieces were done for entertainment purposes only. Today was a really significant day for us, and the reason I wasn't able to write again tonight. Since we were in high school, we considered our friend's mother to be our secondary mother, and today was her birthday. We've always wanted to make her day special to show her how much she means to us.

ARE Café and Restobar Experiences I'd been craving corn dogs and soda drinks for a week, and it just so happened that our barangay had its own food and beverage service outlet, ARE Cafe and Restobar. Last night, peers and I went to a cafe that is literally in my neighborhood, so we just walked there. On my previous activity of doing vlogs about servicescapes, this was the first place that I chose to film my vlog, but they were closed the night that I planned to go there is not much time, so there was a change of plans. As I have said, this establishment was lit, it had only been open for a year and already had a large number of patrons from nearby barangays. The resto-bar was part of the owner's home, so there was only enough room for a couple of people. It was like having a dine-out in their garage, which was quite enjoyable, especially on nights when the place was lit up with fairy lights. The place was decked out in vintage-style decor and signage, I'm a big fan of vintage and retro design, so I had a great deal of fun looking at them during my stay. We arrived close to closing time, but they still accommodated us; it's just a shame I couldn't order the corndogs, so I settled for Chicken Teriyaki and Rice with Lemonade and Siomai. It takes some time to prepare my order so we played these Uno cards to pass time. We felt like we owned the place at the time because there were only four of us in the entire area playing Uno cards and eating a variety of foods that we ordered. The place close at 8:30 pm but we stayed there until 10 in the evening we didn't track the time while playing we just enjoyed our time there and it is just nice that the owners didn't even bother us to leave the place early, she even insisted on taking pictures for us and his nephew sit with us to play with us. It just satisfying that she as the owner of the place chooses to serve us even if it exceeds their closing time were a patron of the place but were even more amazed by her. Hoping that all entrepreneurs are like her, who choose to serve quality over money. I and my brother always wished to have a place just like her, a restaurant that I could call our own. I was amazed how great the ARE Restobar owner is, someday after all of these school kinds of stuff and with enough dedication maybe we could also have our own business like her. **Disclaimer:** I am neither a psychologist nor a financial advisor, and all of my piece was done for entertainment purposes only. Brought by Pressure Alternative way of learning is what we call it now that we are dealing with a pandemic, online classes that are typically divided into two groups: synchronous and asynchronous, but both of them rely on Google Classroom, and in our case, they did not provide any hard copies of the module. For the past year, my body has drastically changed. Of course, I've been eating more healthily because I've been trying to lose weight, but the changes have occurred much faster than expected. Due to my irregular sleeping pattern and constant lack of sleep, I discovered that my hemoglobin levels had dropped this year, and the nurse who tested my blood advised me to live a healthy lifestyle that included 6 to 8 hours of sleep to help my body recover from being so weak. However, colleges were not easy in this situation; there will be times when I will need to do things, and these school assignments will overlap; professors simply advise students to manage their time. I did, but it's extremely difficult for me to do everything at once, particularly when it comes to video demo presentations. It took a long time to come up with concepts, conduct research, prepare props, and edit the video. I sometimes get to the point where I don't sleep for two days in a row just to finish editing a video and submit it on time. I only got it at night because I still try to help with housework during the day. Negative thoughts are always present in my mind, especially at night. There are times when I simply stare at the things that I need to finish, but I do so all night. Because online classes are so stressful, every student experiences anxiety every night and is constantly pressured by minor subjects that have more activities than the major subjects. I've always wanted to rant to our professor about how the weekend, holidays, and school break are supposed to be times for us to pursue our own interests, but instead they hold webinars that are always mandatory to attend and a slew of activities to do during that brief period of vacation. But what could I do as a student pursuing a degree? I suppose all I needed to do was shut up and respect what they always wanted us to do because that's how universities work. Last November, our university's student officers and journalists organized a petition to request an integration week, but the university's founder eliminated it, claiming that the students didn't appear to require a cut. It was aggravating, but what could we do? We had no control over their beliefs. I guess acceptance and my goal was the only driving force that keep me up into my feet pursuing this path, I care for my health but I think I need to sacrifice some of myself just for a better grades. Well I cannot deny the fact that my lifestyle isn't healthy at all but some of my piece that I have done, I feel proud about it. Its just so satisfying to realized that I survived my first year college and now I'm in my second year continuing to survived this final of first semester. Mental breakdown occurs much often this school year but thankfully I got some friends to talk too and I know I could get through this year. Hoping that we could finally beat this pandemic so that classes would go back to old normal again. I like it more, learning physically is much easy to understand such pressure and stressed could talk over about while walking home. Unwinding things before regarding school activities were much easier than now that all things have barrier. **Disclaimer:** I am neither a psychologist nor a financial advisor, and all of my piece was done for entertainment purposes only. Spreadsheet Everything I like to be organized with my things, especially when it comes to my financial budgeting, so when the pandemic hit, I entered the world of online selling. However, due to my current situation as a college second-year student in a virtual class, I find it difficult to manage both of these things, but thankfully, I was able to pay all of my accounts payable to my mother and still earn 10,000 pesos, which I eventually put in a bank for savings. I intended to use it to purchase my very own oven in December, but I used it as start-up capital for my Gcash Retailing Outlet in October. I offer to transfer accounts and pay bills using Gcash, which is so convenient and time-saving these days that we don't even need to go to the establishment to pay bills. To keep track of all of my transactions, I used Excel to list all of the details of my sales and to keep track of my daily expenses. The problem is that I'm having trouble balancing my excel account because the initial net income from the balance of the sale and the overall total wasn't the same. Since I'm not very good at math, encountering situations like this takes up a lot of my time. I majored in Accountancy, Business, and Management during my senior year, so I'm used to dealing with such issues, but it's still time-consuming. It's trouble to track each transaction to find the missing peso. It took two nights to figure out what was wrong and where the money had gone. It's funny that I just forgot to deduct one transaction from the total, and finally, I balance it. Budgeting and tracking each transaction can be exhausting, especially when you've had a stressful day, but you still have to encode all of the transactions you made throughout the day. The thing is encoding such things can be extremely useful in your daily life as it not only allows you to keep track of all of your expenses and calculate all of your profits for the day. But it also allows you to think carefully about how you spend what you have. Aside from that, you may not be aware that it also contributes to the development of one's character as time passes. You became more wise weighing wants and needs and you start to notice that you're able to save more than before as you see on your spreadsheet all of your spendings whether it's for needs or it was just a compulsive shopping. **Disclaimer:** I am neither a psychologist nor a financial advisor, and all of my piece was done for entertainment purposes only. A blessed morning to everyone! Before I went to bed yesterday I planned to get up early to review my notes and to learn some math formulas. Recycled Parol There is an app that assists every retail outlet of a specific cigarette brand by sharing videos about market strategy. They gave points for every pack of a specific cigarette brand, and those points could be exchanged for vouchers, ecash, or loads, which was very helpful for a small retail outlet like ours. Every regular holiday, such as New Year's, Valentine's Day, Christmas, or their founding anniversary, they held a nationwide competition. Before the year's end, I've decided to enter their competition, which is a decorating competition. One of their requirements was that they use one of their recently introduced cigarette brands as a material in making the piece. I eventually planned my concept and decided to make a Christmas Lantern (Parol) out of this cigarette brand packs. I started making it last November actually, it was difficult for me since it fell during my midterm exam week. However, in my spare time, I can construct a star's base. The weekend arrives, and I'm almost done covering half of it. Of course, I was excited and went to the app where I was going to upload it, but by the time I got there, the place where I was supposed to upload the pictures of the output in the taskbar had vanished. Of course, I was disappointed because I was no longer able to submit my entry. Fortunately, they updated their system last week and announced that the competition's entry period has been extended and reopened. I merrily finish what I'd started because I'm eager to show off my work. After finishing my *Parol* after two more days, all I had to do was wait patiently for the reopening. It is needed to be displayed in the store so yesterday I took various pictures of it and choose from it the best shot that I could pass onto the platform as an entry. Now I just need to wait for the voting days to see the result of my works. **Disclaimer:** I am neither a psychologist nor a financial advisor, and all of my pieces were done for entertainment purposes only. Effort Wasted I’m feeling a bit blue tonight before I go to bed I'd like to share this one, Two days ago I accept to do a visual art poster for a friend of mine of course they going to pay my service fee. Since I’m free last weekend I contact them and ask for the criteria of the poster theme, layout, content, and other stuff that is related to the poster that they want me to make. It took a while before they respond but then the main topic was said to be about Overseas Filipino Worker as modern heroes. My mind blast with ideas that I could use so before they respond I already had several pictures prepared. I started to show them the concept that I was thinking and they said that I nailed the idea so I continued to edit the poster based on my own ideas and likings I enjoyed editing since at some parts it was one of my hobbies to edit pictures and videos. I also had the title to it “Give and Take: Give Less Take” because I believed that instead of giving and take, workers abroad tend to be more selfless than they were here in our own country. Most of them starve themselves and give all they have to their family in the Philippines. I was able to finished it, I didn’t want it to looked overcrowded therefore before I decide on my own I approach them regarding about my suggestion and the progress of the poster. My friend said it was pretty tho the one who is really my client is not satisfied with it. Aside from that there have been changes in the criteria of the poster and they did not discuss it to me earlier. After what I’ve done it felt like my effort gone wasted, sad I cannot get paid since I said I cannot do what they wanted for me to do. It’s a choice I made since I also have class and prior to my activities were video demonstration and it sure is time consuming, I need an addition income but I cannot handle so much pressure therefore I’m not putting myself on one knowing that per activity of my can take up to 3 demonstration. I always put a lot of effort into my piece I always like them to be more out of extraordinary and still has my own views on a certain topic. I accept to make this since I want an extra source of income as a student and of course to put my hobbies in such useful things. Bummer he won't use this as his output it's fine actually but I just felt I wasted energy and time doing it and it was just going to be rejected just like that. It's part of reality I guess maybe I need to take of practice to enhance these skills of mine. **Disclaimer:** I am neither a psychologist nor a financial advisor, and all of my pieces were done for entertainment purposes only. Attraction, Love and Attachment Relevance of Sexual Self During the early age of babyhood that we first develop from our parent from the very first day we come into life, as the sexual self constantly changing at early puberty, we develop unusual feelings towards others we started to get intimate with the opposite of our gender and this is also the stage where we have people we admire. We are naturally curious about everything especially when it comes to our self we become experimental on our feelings most of the people who are in junior high school have their crushes and we tend to have a different approach towards the person that we admire some of us become shy around them or even become clumsy this is because of the sudden butterflies feeling in our stomach when we are around of someone that we like. Attachment, attraction, and love may be a good indicator of what kinds of relationships we tend to get into. Together with the movies and novels that we encounter which gives us an idea about entering into a relationship we gain insight into what we want in a relationship. We build our expectations like in the fairytale-like which always have the happily ever after but every human being on this planet will disappoint you because they cannot fulfill the unrealistic expectation that we had. Learning these three core of sexual self-development provides us further insight into ourselves and making a relationship with others. We had different experiences in each of these three, some of us maybe once or thrice had been into a relationship but this kind of relationship that we had at this age are cannot be compared to the relationship of the adult this is why we always end up of trying to find others. Founding a relationship is not just about the similarity of your traits or experiences, or the or just because you like each other and to fulfill each other desires this is more about freedom in a relationship to build their dreams together, defining each other to be the best version of each other and felt at home to your partners’ comfort. The heart alone is not enough to define who we are it needs brains guidance in all, this topic reminds us that it is not about the experiences that we use but also the importance of the knowledge that we can gain to understand every little aspect of our feelings that we build toward socializing with others.

Self Appreciation I felt so proud of myself right now, Were in this class where our professor was assigned a task to do a vlog review about a servicescape of our chosen establishment. Last week I posted an update about it entitled *Servicescapes: A Buddy's Restaurant Vlog Experience* you can check it out on my feed. Today our professor held a viewing party in appreciation for each other works my output appeared first on his share screen. I burst into excitement thinking what could my classmate see on my vlog even though my output had flaws I'm still proud of it. A minute or two one of my classmates send me a private message saying that it looks like I enjoy doing the vlog and the minimum time wasn't enough for my video haha. I also received positive comments from our professor saying that I made the topic looks interesting so do the experience in Buddy's Restaurant. However, I still received some side comments from him saying that some of the review still lack of information but it doesn't change the feeling that I am feeling right I'm just so happy and proud of my own creation. Sometimes we won't our expectations as we want them to be but looking more on the positive side was enough to lift up our confidence. There may be flaws but there is always room for improvement, we just need to take value from what the others are saying and do self-introspection. Take time to accept and consider others' opinions about your work dissect each part of what they are saying and do your own inspection the result might help to enhance not just our skill but also our mental capacity to absorb negativities and turn them into a beautiful comeback. Doesn't it feel satisfying when you did something out of your best effort and someone appreciates it? We could not dictate others' way of thinking what we could do was to accept, dissect, reflect and replenish negativity. There is always a chance to improve never let a single side comment take your confidence down.

@GelayyLumiere

Weighing Congruent Self and Ideal Self The consistency of our real self and ideal self to each other may provide a higher sense of self-worth with that we can be more productive and motivated throughout the day. This may develop through self-development and with the help of those who surround you, the more regards they gave to you the more you became satisfied with yourself which results in being capable of adjustment and feel safe in your environment. Then how does the field of psychology help us to understand self? The scientific studies of different aspects such as our minds, cultures, human behaviors, development, and many other fields provide a deeper understanding of how even a small detail makes an impact on self. Different studies and claims of philosophers contribute influences and learnings towards an individual, this knowledge occurs development on one’s perspective of self either religious or scientifically.

Blessing in Disguise Found of this saying "every morning is a blessing" it was indeed. Each morning that we wake up has a huge impact on how the rest of the day will go. I have been staying in my sister-in-law's house that was just part of my neighborhood so I still manage to go home early in the morning to help my parents manage our sari-sari store (small grocery store). This morning I woke up with this feeling of euphoria, I don't know what I get so excited about but I think I will see that as how my day will go today. Beside me was my nephew that still sleeping peacefully then after I minute of making my bed he woke up. Since we were just the two of the house in my brother's big house I decided to take my nephew into our parent's house, he's still two years old and I think it is a great idea if I walk him in the neighborhood under this great sun. He's a picky eater thankfully he accepted the food that I prepare for him, right after I fed him, his lola (grandma) came to pick him up. And here I am currently on our sari-sari store taking my duty, glad that I don't have any school work today so I can make it up today in my duty. I usually spend my day here in the store before I help my parents manage our family business and reverse it also helps me to earn some profit for my savings. I can't call myself a working student yet since I partake in helping here during my free time. Hopefully, I could manage to find a part-time job in our neighborhood like tutoring children since I'm pretty good at kids. At my age, I'm starting to think to have more savings or investments for my future so that I could also help my parents with some of their expenses. College was indeed full of schoolwork even in this virtual class, lately, I'm quite busy working on complying with some of it gladly I finished all of them on time therefore I am a freeman this weekend. I consider this morning another blessing in disguise since I could take duty in the store to earn and at the same time help my parents. How I wish my weekend to be always like this.

Pangat: Filipino Custom of Reheating Dishes Found of this Filipino culture wherein we become resourceful of dishes for every meal this is also applicable as a trick to avoid getting tired on food taste. Pangat literally comes from the word "Pangatlong init". A great example of this was this recipe that I'm going to share with you, Cardillo. **Cardillo Recipe** For the ingredients, I used leftover fried fish, garlic, onion, tomato, egg, fish sauce, soy sauce, and a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. First was to refried the fish after that sauté garlic and onion add the tomato and season with soy and fish sauce and a glass of water and let it simmer until it boils a then add the egg and its done, pretty easy doesn't it? This is what I've cooked for our meal since we still had leftover fish from yesterday. I loved to pair it with the bottom part of rice (tutong). Come let's eat! (Tara kain po!).
