This was actually a picture essay that I wrote last year on my subject Understanding the Self, our professor ask our opinion about the selective photo that she has given to us and I chose this one.

Human rights work under a circumstance of different fields, every Filipino citizen has the right to know the truth behind all the controversy that appears on different media platforms. A journalist is the one who is responsible to trace errors in every fact and outright lies by exposing them to the public. Politics works in different varieties these are the actions and capacity of an individual to participate in his responsibilities as a citizen these actions are also based on decision-making for a group of people. Recently there was an action taken from the association of journalists in our country within this leverage it shows how politics works, it is through taking action to keep on going on publishing news even most well-known names in the publishing industry have a threat from the administration. Politics is not limited, everything we do on a daily basis has a political connection, as for my own perspective regarding the recent controversy there is a politics wherein has taken steps and united in the field of the publisher to seek defense in the press freedom, because in the past issues most of the news in the public are having censorship or even banning the articles to be published. This leverage is a right to speak up and ask for precise action from those in administration. Exposing an unheard story that the public would not want to hear is a right of society to have unbiased information from within and outside the government.

Again this is just my opinion about the given picture that was assigned to us please do respect my personal insights about it since we do all have differences in the matter of this topic.
