"New life, New identity"

Together with the bang John fell into the ground. He really thought he got shot, but when he looked back he saw that it was the other inmate who's following him got the shot and so feel relief. Though he feel sorry for what happen to the man, he never looked back again. With his trembled body, he hurriedly run into the mountain to hide his self.

Though the mountain was covered by darkness John didn't stop from running. He needs to save his self, no matter what. He run without any certain directions specially that he hears that the police is after him.

Since the place was dark he can't see his way anymore and because his running so fast he accidentally fell into the thick part of the mountain and roll over. He don't know what happen next as he loses his consciousness after reaching the lower part of the mountain.

When he wakes up it was already morning. He felt that his body was aching but he to get up. He needs to continue walking before the police came to catch him.

Day and night all he thought was his child and so he didn't stop from running. He only stop's, to look for food or water to drink as he also feels hungry. He was just lucky that inside the mountain he can find some fruits to eat. It helps him to survive. He actually don't know where to go, but he just continue from walking.

After two weeks of walking inside the mountain, he finally reached the town of his uncle. Since it's been two weeks that he haven't eaten properly he decided to drop by to his uncle house.

So when the dawn came he went out from where he was hiding. He fastly walk to his Uncles house. He needs help and so when he reached his uncle house he slowly knock their door.

His uncle from the other hand hears the knock, and so it immediately gets confused who's knocking as it was still dark outside. It didn't open the light and from the window he saw a guy standing in front of the door and so it gets alarmed.

His uncle can't recognise John anymore, as he loses a lot of weight since he gets in jailed and the more he loses some weight as he haven't eaten since the day he escaped.

However his uncle open its door and so he immediately whispered and say,

... Uncle it's me, John! Can I come in?

His uncle got surprised, but it immediately open the door to let him in then quickly closed the door. They tried to remain silent. His uncle was so surprised with his appearance but it didn't say anything, instead it offers him some food and water. It already got the idea of what he did, and so it didn't question him anymore.

John's uncle was his mom's youngest brother and so he knew that he can trust him. After he eat his uncle offer him some clothes and so he immediately took a shower to clean his body.

They talked random things and eventually John bid his goodbye. He didn't want to stay longer as he doesn't want to put his uncles family in trouble. Before he leave his uncle gives him some pocket money. His uncle also advices him to do not go back to his hometown, as for sure what he did has already been reported.

John feel sad as he cannot see his son anymore, specially his parents and siblings. But his uncle was right. His uncle wants him to start a new life and it would be better for him if none of his family will know about his whereabouts. John also don't want to put them in trouble and so he just follow his uncles advice.

Before the sun rise he left his Uncles house. He rode a bus and left the place for good. His tear's was running as he was longing to see his son, but that was the consequences that he needed to pay from escaping in jail.

On the other hand John's family was worried after they heared what John's did. Some police are guarding their house as they are assuming that John will come. However they didn't see John anymore. And John's family are just praying for his safety.

John became dead to almost everyone who knew him personally.

Authors epilogue;

John meet a new girl from where he chooses to start a new life. It was far from everyone he knew. He also changes his identity and up until now, no one knows his past except his second wife.

That was the real life story of my cousin, but I don't know his new identity anymore. I don't know his whereabouts as well. The last time we heard from him he has a new family already, but he didn't tell us his whereabouts.

Life is indeed unpredictable. Sometimes the perfect life that we thought, was just temporary. So we should cherish every moment that we have with the people we love, and we shouldn't forget to thank God, as everything that we have in life was just temporary.

To what happen to my cousin I would say that he was just a victim. A victim of an injustice justice. Suppose what he did was just a self defense as the man hurt's his mom and trespass their property as well. The family of the man must also take some responsibility with the damage that their family members did, but they all put all the blame to my cousin.

However I wouldn't say that the man deserves to die, but I wouldn't also say's that my cousin deserves a lifetime imprisonment. I wouldn't say that killing is also okay for self defense, but I wouldn't also say's that being a mentally ill is okay to hurt someone. I am just in the middle. My cousin did a mistake, I knew it, but the family did also the lacking. Because if the man has a real mental illness, why they didn't put him to the mental hospital?

What if my aunt was the one who gets killed that time? Who would took the responsibility as the family of the man claimed that the man was mentally ill?

The Justice since then is already unfair. My niece loss a father. My aunt loss his son and we all loss him as a family member.
