Like I have said yesterday that many don't really know the essence of celebrating Christmas, it's so painful seeing people abusing that day. It's fine if you say you want to party and have fun but should be done wisely and not to be abused. We said it is the season that our Lord Jesus Christ was born, fine you are right but it is not the day we should use for immoralities.

I was busy viewing my contact status on Christmas day and all I was seeing on some status are " your girlfriend is at another man's house washing plate, your girlfriend is at another man's house washing clothes and cooking at the same time etc". All these were referred to ladies that left their boyfriend for another guy who has more money than their boyfriend. What's the essence of going there? To do the unsaid, you should know what I mean by that, they went to do some immorality on the day that our Lord Jesus Christ was born.

I am not just facing the ladies but also the guys for committing fornication with a lady that they haven't gotten married to legally. All these are not the reasons for the season, let's be aware of this.

I also saw many people clubbing that night and even a day before Christmas ( Christmas Eve ) and they went there to do all sorts of immoralities. It's wrong, we are supposed to be in the presence of our creator and give thanks to him for coming into the world and bringing salvation to us. The birth of Christ brought salvation to us all, if not we would have been bound in the bondage of sin up till now.

I am not a pastor ooo 😅😅 before many will start calling me that, I am just a worshipper that loves to listen to the word of God and say the little I understood from it which is what I am doing now. The reason for the season is to let us come back to our senses and think deep of what the birth of Christ Jesus has brought upon our lives, the blood of sheep, fowl and all other animals used back then is never enough to wash away our sin, so there's need for a saviour to come to the world and take our sins permanently which was what Christ came to do.

He allowed himself to be born to the sinful world and die for the sins he was never part of those that committed it, he came to the world to save us all from our sin permanently and make us his son. He makes the relationship between us and God a smooth one and makes our communication easy without any barrier.

I hope with this little explanation of mine, I have been able to do justice to the reason for the season, there are no two reasons but just this only reason. Thanks for reading and God bless.
