Packaging: a clue to make it big

I think the title of my article says it all but if at all you still don't get it, that's the reason why I am writing this. Packaging has the name implies, it means when you the act of putting something into it best form for people to fall in love with it. In marketing, the packaging is what shows off your project in the best light and best form for people to get to know about your product and fall in love with it. Packaging goes far to the point that you don't need too much advertisement or let me say you don't need advertisement before you can sell the product cos the packaging is enough to do that. It's very painful that most market men and women don't know about this, many do but they don't know how to do it and this has really affected their business. It's painful seeing a person selling a shoe and such a person is delivering the shoe with a nylon polythene bag, it doesn't make sense at all. I saw a lady that was selling perfume and other body deodorants, will you believe she will just deliver her product with just the bottle and not put it inside nylon or any package. All these attitudes have made them lose customers that were supposed to buy in bulk from and they would have made a lot of profit from it. I have a friend that does make shoes, sandals and palms for people, he does deliver his product in a well-designed polythene bag with his brand name nicely written in a very beautiful design on it. All the packaging done on it will really make you fall in love with the product. Let's assume that the product wasn't original, you will not know until you start using it or open it because you will be carried away with the packaging done on it. Packaging goes a long way as an advertisement for a product, it sells your product for you. So many businesses we all look like a petty business that cant earn a lot of money can actually be well packaged and will bring in a lot of profit to us. There's this cassava flakes we Nigerians knew about and we call it "garri", it is normally sold in a sack, people who sold it for consumers just tie it inside nylon without packaging it. But there is this new improvement some did with it that they had to package it well with milk and sugar for consumer use, it makes sense to the point that people no longer look for the one that's just tied in nylon again but they keep asking for the packaged one cos it is inviting and looks healthy for human consumption compared to the former. In any kind of business we find ourselves doing, we should always endeavour to do it specially, in a way that's different from the way others do it. We shouldn't just do it because that's the way others are doing but instead, we should do it in a way that people will love it and appreciate it and see the differences between you and others. Packaging is one of the best ways one can make it big in life, it will give us an edge over our peers or people that we are doing the same business together. If your product is not different from others, there is never be a change in you making it cos you and every other marketer are the same, it is your packaging that will make you stand out among them. My next article will be how we humans can also package ourselves when it comes to our mode of dressing in our various fields of earning. We humans also need packaging, this is a topic on its own and we will be published tomorrow.
