Do I need to define the word addiction to you? I think everyone one of us is familiar with it. Well, for the sake of understanding what I am about to write I will tell you the meaning;
Addiction is an inability to stop using a substance or engaging in a behaviour even though it is causing psychological and physical harm...... SOURCE
What brought about this topic? I was less busy yesterday and I decided to go through some WhatsApp status because it's long I did that, as I was viewing it, suddenly I came with a video of a woman who gave birth to two kids. Let the screenshot from my noise.cash account does the finishing.
I hope you read the story in the screenshot and was able to grab the whole essence of this write-up. If I should stop here, I didn't do any worse by doing that, cos the screenshot is self-explanatory but for the sake of explaining more, I will continue.
I hope you see what happened in that story, the woman was too addicted to her phone to the detriment of her child, isn't that bad and a stupid act.
The majority of us fall into this category of being addicted to our phones, we watch irrelevant things on social media that take our time and we never wish to leave it. Many youths fall in the section mostly and at the end of the day, ask them what did they gain after using the phone for several hours and they will reply with nothing. I am not talking to those who use their phone for blogging like I am doing to earn and indirectly I am talking to us too. We shouldn't allow the usage of our phone to deny us of other responsibilities that we are supposed to do or neglect our family to the point that they fall into danger.
There are other things aside from phones that many are addicted to. Some are addicted to food to the extent that if a family member is drowning in water and shouts for help, such a person won't know because he/she is carried away by the food.
It's good we do what we like but too much of a thing is bad. Too much of something is really very bad and we need to stop it. The woman in the story would have lost the child to an accident if not for the brother that was there to save her.
I hope we learnt something new today even though I am still suffering from writer's block. Let me tell you how my day went.
I woke up so early this morning to help my mom and when I was done with it, I went straight to noise and was making noise for like two hours. After that, I came here to read a few articles. When I got tired I slept off and woke with a new plan, I didn't plan to do laundry today but I did because I wanted to be free tomorrow to read a lot of articles and also make noise. I will also watch premier league matches. Later in the evening, I will go for choir rehearsal in church and that is how I plan to spend my day tomorrow. I will like to know how you plan to spend your tomorrow.
Besides, I am the only one at home with my two cousins, I will have to sleep alone in the house π π , if you don't mind you can come to join me, I promise everything will be fine ππ, only ladies are invited please, hahaha.
Thanks for reading today's article, I appreciate your time and effort, God bless you all.
Bye for now π₯°π₯°π₯°.
26th November 2021.
Addiction, this is a disease and it must be removed as soon as possible! The cause is not in the habits, but in you! Anxiety, depression-we are looking for a way to get rid of them, so "born" habits. I would also like to say that not all habits are "bad". For example, to wake up early in the morning. Morning - the most productive time. In the morning you can do a lot of things, and most importantly to charge with positive energy for the whole day.
