The Success & Happiness Relationship
Do you want to be more successful? You can achieve this goal by learning the relationship between success and happiness.
Surely we all want to be successful. Almost everything we read about it forces us to try and work much harder. However, success is not all about working hard. You won't get any closer to success if you don't manage to sprinkle some dust of happiness in it.
If you see someone who says success equals happiness, you can pull them aside and ask the question again. There are many people who think that success brings happiness. However, what is actually experienced in this equation is the opposite. Because success does not bring happiness, happiness brings success.
The biggest reason for this is that a success is not the end. "I graduated from university. I finally made it!” when you say you can enjoy the success and the happiness it brings. This happiness is short-lived. It disappears when the next target appears.
For this reason, it is necessary to change the formula and ensure that happiness brings success. When you go to the path of increasing happiness, you increase the value of the success you have achieved. Thus, you can keep your happiness level at the same level by increasing the success rate for the rest of your life.
This is the main reason why optimistic people are more successful than pessimistic people. Because, while technical knowledge and intelligence are effective in only one slice of success, the factors are very different in the remaining slice of the cake. It is possible to improve the skill of the optimistic person, but the same is not true for pessimistic people.
How should problems be handled?
It is an important factor that will determine the future state of the approach to an emerging problem. If you see the problem as a danger, I can welcome you to the losers club. People who see problems as challenges and opportunities are much closer to success.
To ensure this, you can quickly review the political situations in countries. If you see the current political situation as a danger to your job or career, you are making a mistake. You should see the political atmosphere, that is, the situation that you have identified as a problem, as a struggle.
The biggest reason for this is the difference in danger between struggle and difficulty and danger. The person who sees something as a danger is much more stressed. The level of happiness of such people naturally begins to decline rapidly. At the same time, there is a decrease in the interaction of these people.
“Does success bring happiness, does happiness bring success?” If you're starting to think that the answer to your question is the latter, congratulations. You can be sure that you are halfway to success. Now you can try to find solutions to be happier.
Happiness is not something that can be obtained from great achievements or great strides. You can manage to be happy even in extremely small situations. Instead of getting used to great happiness such as going on vacation, you should try to get used to much smaller but continuous sources of happiness.
The easiest way to be happy is to thank someone. You can be happy if you thank someone on a certain subject every 24 hours. Other alternatives to being happy are creating a satisfaction list and exercising.
You may believe that what I have written here is good. But it is not possible to gain gains unless it is practiced. In short, “I understand what you are saying, but I cannot apply them. What should I do?" You may be faced with the question.
If you are faced with this kind of question, you should definitely put the 20-second rule into practice. The 20-second rule is recommended by many people who have studied success, happiness, and motivation. Albert Einstein “Beginning is half the battle.” You can think of the word.
If you intend to do a job within 20 seconds and take action, you can get rid of bad habits that will keep you in the background. You may have decided to go to the gym and exercise. If you are in this situation, you have a maximum of 20 seconds to prepare to leave the house.
The 20-second rule is something recommended by many, from Eric Barker to successful writers like Shawn Achor. These people bring this rule forward to form a habit. If you are after happiness and want to take action, you must know and accept that you only have 20 seconds to take the first step.
I've been confused about the word happiness and I do agree that optimistic people has the higher chance to succeed since they release all the negative things around them. Happiness can be truly achieved if the things that you want is achieved by your hard work and perseverance. Their are two people who succeeded in life and I know they are happy for that moment, but the first person who succeed in life is the person that depends on their family name, from their parents and that happiness will never last long. The second person is the person that succeed through hard work and perseverance and if you're that kind of person your happiness will live eternally some people may forget that moment but thay success in life will live in your heart forever.
