It is nolonger news that read.cash is now a hunting ground for spamming activities, and every genuine writers must show concern about this by finding a way to discouraged these groups of people from making our work here useless.

Corrently there's an ongoing petition against spammers on read.cash initiated by @thesatoshistore as can been seen here, requiring a thousand signatories to get it through. Though this might take some time to get it done, it's an effort in the right direction.

Why will wait for the petition to get through, we can use our power here on read.cash to frustrate spammers on our work. Notably, read.cash has provided a MOVE TO SPAM option on our notification box. While this may take a long time to get the spammers penalized for their actions, you can use your DOWNVOTE POWER to frustrate spammers on your comment section.

How to do this

Anytime you found spamming comments on your article, you have to DOWNVOTE IT using the downvote bottom on the comment. This is the only direct way to deal with spamming now.

I noticed as a moderator I can not block the spammer. I just wrote read.cash. I hope those who signed do more than just signing.

Yes, that's true, you cannot block them. The only thing we can do now is to use the downvote botton to frustrate them, when they start loosing points they might change.

Instead they call me a spammer because I tell them as a moderator the community does not accept spam and plagiarism and... I receive the message I need to stop spamming or I will be blocked. I guess there's no longer the need to tell why a post is rejected. You are still moderating?

Well, you don't need to tell much about the reason for rejecting article into the community. If it's not original content simply state it as simple as that.

I was just doing a review on read.cash site on another user post about this subject. I think something is wrong with this site. Now people earn points even if their article is not original content. The user who claimed to get 2000 points a day is a complete spammer and plagiarism expert, yet she gained all those points. If you know this user try check her profile and see what she got.

Another one claimed to get $20.07 in a day after boosting an article for 24hrs, do still think there is nothing wrong with read.cash site? When you check this person profile all you see there are plagiarize articles, how then do they get all this points.

I have taken a break from moderating, someone else is taking care of the community for now. Though I occasionally check in to see if all is going well in the community.

I do not know these people but perhaps you should report it. Send an email to read. cash why they support plagiarism (none exclusive content).

The only thing I see is my original content doesn't pay. Perhaps the plagiarists and spammers have the super voters at their side as well?

Thanks for the update I know now plagiarism and spamming are only not allowed for me the rest can earn freely.

If you have a list let me know so I can block them.

Someone already made a detail article about the activities of one of them. The one who claimed to get 2000 points a day and 557 subscribers in 3 weeks is https://read.cash/@devjani You can check her profile, her articles and comments to see for yourself. How they managed to get what they said they got I cannot tell.

Some spammer also doing spam, downvote on honest author's articles,comments..And also there are some other old user who don't react on spammers.They are supporting spammers on their activities. what step can be taken for such user, sir?

For spammers downvote genuine writers articles, there is nothing we can do about them than to use our downvote on their articles and comments anytime you found one. As for older users who doesn't do anything about spamming, perhaps they just don't really care about this platform
