Before you decide on an education that will allow you to create apps for iOS, you should also know that Apple maintains far stricter criteria for placing apps on the market than is the case for the Google Play Store and Windows Store. To encode applications for iOS, you will need knowledge of the Objective-C language, or knowledge of working in Swift, which represents the future of programming for this platform.
Android
To program applications for Android, you will need to master the Java programming language, which can be an advantage in the long run. Once you master this language, you will be ready for a variety of projects in the field of information technology. You can acquire the skills needed to create applications for Android after only one year of studying in a specialized program at an educational institution that deals with the training of IT staff.
Programming for the Android platform is considered easier compared to programming for iOS and Windows. In addition, when installing the application on the Google Play Store, the rules are not as rigorous as for the other two mentioned platforms.
Windows Phone
The Windows platform is by far the least represented, and since Microsoft stopped updating its latest operating system it has been almost non-existent. However, if Microsoft succeeds in its attempt to standardize desktop, tablet, and mobile software, opting for this operating system may be a good choice. Although the Windows Phone Store has been merged with the Windows PC app store, Windows plans to launch a reduced mobile phone operating system that will run on Android, so it is possible that the Windows app market will revive.
