Right Attitude To God's Service As A Ministers Of God

Faithfulness

As a ministers of God we should be trustworthy,reliable or loyal to peoples around us. If a man of God recognizes this and he is ready to endure, then he would be counted among the faithful. This is to say that the pressures and stress associated with our ministerial responsibilities, we are able to through Christ support, bear them.we can only be sustained by maintaining our faith in Him.we should let our yes be yes and our no should be no, anyone who is not faithful in the assignment entrusted to him will lose the reward because each person will be judged by his deeds. We should not compromise because of worldly things or deny Christ in time of tribulations or disaster.

Commitment

A ministers of God that has a right attitude to God's service must be totally committed to personal discipline. 2Cor. 6: 4-10 pls let study the bible passage very well.we should therefore resist every temptation that may bring reproach to our ministry and we should therefore make God and His ministry our first priority.Paul's pursuit of discipline made him succeed in his ministry.whenever we are facing one challenges or the other, we should not see our situation from human perspective and hopeless, we should not fall victim of such thinking. Apostle was even Ready to die(Act 21:10-14) as a true disciple not because he was stronger or a more experienced disciple but because he was highly committed and motivated by hope he had in Christ Jesus.

Be heavenly focus

As a ministers of God we should be heavenly focus, if we are heavenly focus we will not think about worldly things, we will eat as the world eat and also we will not do as the world do. All our aim or ambition will be on heavenly focus. By then, we will count everything in this world as vanity upon vanity.Roman 12:1-2.

Total submission

We must to submit everything to God as the owner of our souls and our caller who as call us out among the dust. where He lead us we have to follow. Giving our heart to Jesus is the right service that will please the Lord. When we do this then we will have the urge and unction to preach the gospel. We will not be ashamed to preach the gospel to every creature. Paul gave his life to God that he put all his strength and might into evangelism " That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are at Rome." (Roman 1:15); "Yet when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, for I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!"(1Cor.9:16). Therefore right attitude to God is not momentary experience, it is a long life pursuit where we give all that we are to honour all that He is.

Finaly, minister of God should not be too anxious of worldly things, e.g money, position,wealth,power and any other things. Although nobody is perfect but we should be praying that God should conquered the power of flesh and uphold us to the end. I pray for us that God will count us worthy and give us the grace to reign together with Him, in His kingdom. Amen!
