Born To Lead
INTRODUCTION
You and I are born to leadership is the part of our make up,is the purpose for our creation,the gene is in us. Both the disappointing part is that we are misappropriating our leadership grace.
Imagine a leader that want to forcefully make his or her followers to do his or her biddings.
The leadership position is SERVANTHOOD position. If you want to be a leader you must be ready to serve like Jesus Christ served His disciples. He even said 'I not to be served but to serve. Likewise we that we said we are taking after Him as His ministers and ambassador we must take after Him in service.
But d disappointing part is that we are misappropriating our leadership grace

26 Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”
27 So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.
28 Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”

If you read it very I don't think there is place where God said man should rule over man.
OBSERVATIONS FROM TEXT ON LEADERSHIP.
Below are some points that suggest our God-given leadership potentials.
Being made in God's image means we were created to lead. V26.
After God says, 'Let Us make man image,' He says, "Let them have Dominion. One of the way we reflect God's image is leading.
God is initiator and leader of all, if we will resemble Him in His ATTRIBUTE then we are leader.
This verse is telling us that humanity created by God are leader.
God commanded both male and female to have DOMINION. V27.
Dominion means power or the use of power, sovereignty over something, stewardship, supremacy.....
V27 both men and women have been given the ability and authority to lead. Leadership is not gender specific not gender biased. To think that women are fragile or weak and make them redundant is against the initial purpose of God. The place of HEADSHIP and AUTHORITY of men over women cannot be erased, but women also are leader.
It is pity that some men believe that nothing good can come from women thereby turning to second class citizen and bench them in the society. As you are leading in your capacity as men so, also, women have are of functionality as well. Don't forget male and female He created them. For what? to have Dominion.
We are leader because God is a leader
We to rule over the, but not necessarily over each other. V28.
We were not directed to rule each other,but over the earth creatures. Read the text again. But men and women have perverted their God-given roles by trying to rule each other. Sin in man open up an opportunity to the devil to rules after the fall thereby he put the same spirit of RULERSHIP in us for the demonstration of his will. But thank God for God and Jesus. We are to rule over the earth,animals...... not on each other.
Leadership is not the same as rulership. Leadership is servanthoodness. Jesus said anyone who want be oga must be the servant. No wonder Jesus was their master, because served them,washes thier foot......
All of us are to serve one another in the are of our and purpose. V29,30.
God created everything for a purpose. Our general purpose is to lead, but each of us should ask God, what is my specific purpose. There is a particular area where you the one that can lead there. You are the only servant that can fit into the needed responsibility there. That is why women have their own are of ministry where God wants them to serve(lead). When you locate your specific gift it will define your office.
Any minister of God with a special call are called servant of God either pastor, prophet,evangelist..... we are all servant or leader nobody is inferior or superior. Pastor cannot do the work of pastoring, singing and ushering at the same time.
What make Jesus a master or boss is His serving attitude
Each person's leadership is best exercised in his or her area of giftedness v31.
We will discover our gifts,we will naturally lead in those areas where we are most productive, comfortable, influencial and satisfied. Leadership is not issue of fighting, envying, mocking at all, because when everyone discover his or her area of leadership you focus on it without any chance to wasting your time on other people's assignment.
CONCLUSION
In our nation Nigerian a particular nation use Born To Rule as their slogan until it was changed. Let's say they use Born To Lead or Born To serve I would have give them kudos.
The same mentality is what we are seeing in the church today. We want to rule others not ready to serve. We demand respect from people because we don't have servant attitude,when you serve other your life will command respect.
Corroded Pot(Rust Pot) Ezekiel 24:3-14
Preamble
No good wife or mother will be able to give to her family good, varieties and balance food without depending or make use of pot.
Pot is one of the major needs of women in the kitchen. From it food is being prepare for the family.
No wonder women place a high level of importance on their pots. They wash it clean, dry it, carefully handle it,even disallowed it to get burnt, they will never allow it to get RUST. I know you will remember how our olden days mothers took care of their pot mostly the local pot.
Ezekiel 24:3-14
Tell my rebellious people this parable that I, the Sovereign Lord, have for them:
Set the pot on the fire and fill it up with water.
4 Put in the best pieces of meat—
the shoulders and the legs—
fill it with choice bony pieces too.
5 Use the meat of the finest sheep;
pile the wood under the pot.
Let the water boil;
boil the bones and the meat.”
6 This is what the Sovereign Lord is saying: “The city of murderers is doomed! It is like a corroded pot that is never cleaned. Piece after piece of meat is taken out, and not one is left. 7 There was murder in the city, but the blood was not spilled on the ground where the dust could hide it; it was spilled on a bare rock. 8 I have left the blood there, where it cannot be hidden, where it demands angry revenge.”
9 This is what the Sovereign Lord is saying: “The city of murderers is doomed! I myself will pile up the firewood. 10 Bring more wood! Fan the flames! Cook the meat! Boil away the broth! Burn up the bones! 11 Now set the empty bronze pot on the coals and let it get red-hot. Then the pot will be ritually pure again after the corrosion is burned off, 12 although all that corrosion will not disappear in the flames. 13 Jerusalem, your immoral actions have defiled you. Although I tried to purify you, you remained defiled. You will not be pure again until you have felt the full force of my anger. 14 I, the Lord, have spoken. The time has come for me to act. I will not ignore your sins or show pity or be merciful. You will be punished for what you have done.” The Sovereign Lord has spoken.
Definition of some words that associated with corrosion

A degree of moderate wetness that makes damp or that settle on a metal or iron.

Water or impure matter or residue that forms on the surface of a metal from oxidation.

A layer of impurities that accumulated in the surface of liquid.
A greenish water (algae) usually floating on the surface of water or pond.
A reprehensible (blameworthy,guilty) person or persons.
NOTE: If scum appears on the surface of water
It change the colour of the water slightly

Causes of Rust
🎤 Combination of water,air and metallic object (pot) bring about RUST OR CORROSION.
A metallic object that will last long in the hand of the owner must be protected,secured, preserved from settlement of moist on it.
Because.
It will damage the pot
The pot will suffer abandonment temporarily or permanently
Reduces the life span of the pot.
If used it is used like that,it will contaminate the meal and give non expected taste. A rusted pot used to cook food will contaminate the meal and give it unpalatable taste which can also cause illness.
Pot & Moist (Water)
It talk much about MINISTERS AND SIN.
POT is the Ministers of gospel where food is been cooked for the people of God. God uses them as vessel where balance food (word of God is being prepared for the church.
MOIST.
I call it SIN. When moist is settled in the the pot the pot rust and change the taste of the content in it.
When a minister of God allow sin to settle in/on his or her life, he will bring forth contaminated food(messages or sermon). His sermon changes, he preaches what the people want to hear not what God want them to hear. No wonder we have slot of contaminated,undone, adamant people seated on church pew this days, because the pot that cook the message is corroded.

Note that moist(sin) doesn't just pour in itself in the pot voluminously, is just accumulation of mists,droplets of water. Likewise sin will not posses a man of God drastically,but through little little lies, admiration of mundane things of the word,eye for ladies in the church like Samson.

They never defend orphans in court or listen when widows present their case.
Common noticeable rust(Sin) in the pot(Ministers Life)
Presently there are sins that is now a norm in the lives of some ministers in which church members, commoners, even armed rubbers knows and believe a common thing. What will you be saying it is not possible to stay 24hrs without sin.

They are thieves and companion of thieves. They follow after rewards.
Some believe that church money belong to the pastor. Yes you may be right,but shoild know that there is finance committee in the church to determine what goes to you. A tight that belong to the church you corner it because the man brought it during the week so that he will not soendbit before Sunday. The remminants harvest or anniversary envelopes that was given to you a week after the anniversary you corner. Permit me to tell you,younate a thief in collar rather a thief on the pulpit.

Very rampart now hearing pastor sleeping with choir sisters and elders wife,worst still sleeping with a colleague's wife.
Sexual harrasment in vicarage and church office is no longer new. What about ministers of God that have more than one wife claiming one wife cannot satisfy his high libido.
🖍️ Clamour For Mundane things of the word.
Ministers of tbe gospel competing materialism with hip Hop singers. We want our names to be the annal of record as the richest pastor of the biggest auditorium and larget population.Even if our name is not in heavenly record as most profitable servant.
Jeep,jet,jaquar, mansion, estate, University........ are very good but they aren't the criterial to heaven. Never forget the rich fool and the stingy rich man in the Bible.

The life of an animal is in the blood.
Some ministers are full of gimmicks to syphon people's pocket in the name of revival and giving. Members are not allowed to use their church mind to give again. Professionals in raising offering.
We forcefully collect their hard earned money through rigorous labour by blood.
What a systematic blood eaters we are
🖍️ Turning Ministry to Profession or career v23.
They do not defend the fatherless. The cause of widows is not their business. They are interested in their own reward, what they will get in ministry. They have good bible references to support their point.
They beg for revival in other or friends churches to make money. God's work is a money making venture for them. They are not concern about the perishing, dieing,widow,orphans,abused..... Alufa kowope.
Yes I know we need money, our children will go to school perfect.
But will need to do the primary work. You will get to level in ministry when money will be chasing or pursuing you.
The leave pursuance of money now and pursue God so later no ey will pursue you. My candid advise.
🖍️ Perversion Of Justice v23.
They take bribe to pervert justice. Those that give them gift are the saint even if they are thieve. Justice is not in their dictionary Ina's much money is involved. They accumulate wealth through injustice. This is a sign of settlement of moist in Minister's life that resulted to RUST.
🖍️ Deliberate Lateness to Church
Why not? Discussion that will bring money is going on In the vicarage, pastor must come late, he will come in few minutes to the sermon to present another, contaminated,tasteless,undone food to the unfortunate congregation. Already in spiritual coma.
🖍️ Mom Readiness to Listen to another man's preaching or teaching.
He is now Pastor Know all. Seating down to hear the Sunday School teachers teachings is now a taboo. He weigh and measure and evaluate people's message claiming to be homiletical. He disquise under church administration and responsibilities. Oh! how great is the work of rust in the life of unsuspecting man of God?
Am not trying to be judgemental here. Don't forget that am also a minister. What am saying to am saying to my myself.
Check it are these things not real in our time now.
Senior pastor can not wait and sit under the sermon of Junior it associate pastor.

**How to clean the pot out of rust**
PROVERB 25:4
Take the impurities out of silver and the artist can produce a thing of beauty.
Take the away the dross from the silver.....
🔥 The content will be removed.
In vs 6 of the text.
The content will be brought out piece by piece. The accumulated sin will be removed not drastically. Even when you know that you have gone far and you want to amend your ways. It can never be done once because the moist doesn't gather drastically. Some character would have become part your life that you cannot let go at once. It is better not to fall at all than to fall and try to rise again because you would have secure injury.
🔥 Empty the pot.
Meaning that at the point of emptying the pot it will not be able to cook any food. Do you that if God is merciful to you and discovered you in your star of rust, He may not allow you to cook any food temporarily or permanently. Yes He will safe you but you may not be a pot(preacher) for him again. He may also allow you after you must have been sent to ZERO POINT to start again.

The pot will be fired to a red hot state in order to pill the rust.
Those that knows the mind of God and backslide to the state of apostacy are very had to bring back to the fold. If they must be brought back we must set them on rigorous and serious continual fire. Can you see how dangerous it is to all water to settle on our pots?.
If fire is not applied vigorously. V13 because I have cleansed you and you were not cleansed,You will not be cleaned of your filthiness anymore. I pray we will not go astray that there will be no way out for us again.

The scar will ever remain. There is always consequence for sin which no man can dodge. God will always forgive but what of the scar, dent, and shame if those time of Spiritual sleepiness? .
Those careless time of peeping into the world to enjoy the pleasure of sin are dangerous time. We should watch it because we may not live to say the story.
Men of God let's check our lifes very well.
Are will not a victim of any of these.
I shed inner tears as I was preparing for this teaching as the revelation was coming it pinch my heart what church and ministry as become in our time.

Five Things That Lead To Corruption Among The Ministers Of God
Theologically, corruption is a spiritual, moral impurity or deviation from an ideal.
Five things that can lead to corruption are enumerated as follows:
Dishonesty
As a minister of God, you must live a life of godly character, a minister of God must not disobey his master. Whatsoever the condition may be a minister of God should always say the truth. But can you imagine nowadays many minister they can't say the truth again because of what they are going to eat. May God help us and deliver us. 2peter 2: 2 say "And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reasons of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
Immoral practices
Psalms 14:1 AMP Bible :The [empty-headed] fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable deeds; there is none that does good or right. It is expedient for minister to be morally sound. You should stay away for immoral practices like fornication and Adultery. As a minister, you are to focus your thoughts upon the good things of life and upon God. Give your mind to positive thinking. As a minister of God you should not harbour any immoral,freshly,worldly,selfish,sinful and negative thoughts disrupt and destroy peace. Please ministers whenever an evil thought flashes your subconscious mind,purge it out immediately with the word of God.
Self confident
Romans 12:1 KJV:I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. We must understand that God loves, is holy and righteous.He is merciful and gracious to forgive sin as well as judge sin, as a minister of God we must show love to one another. Your aim or ambition must to be conformed to Christ's death: we have to subject totally to the owner of our life. We must not carry ourselves more that God. Many ministers of God they have grow wings to the extend that nobody can control them. You have to deny yourself and put your desires and flesh to death and to do only the will of God. Luke 9:23 "And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me".
Bribery Proverb 29: 4 "The king by judgment establisheth the land: but he that receiveth gifts overthroweth it".
As a minister we must not take any bribe. It is the habitual character of some ministers to collect money before they can intercedes for people; and thus turn the church of God to a business centre. Many Ministers of God today name their price before they honour invitation for any special programme, they do not allow the spirit of God to rule their lives, they do things by themselves; they even forget God who called them into the ministry. Is that what we are call for or assign to do as a man of God.
Idolatry
1 corithians 10:7 "Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play". It is no gain - saying that many so called ministers of God engage in Idolatry. Some of them are regular customers worshipping shrine they have use Ogun to represent God as using the charm or voodoo giving to them by diviner to perform miracle, many as turn to "OGBONI" Because of lack of patience, looking for power. Forgetting all power belong to God. Some enter it because they want to be popular in the world, some in other to be in wealth, they want to ride the best or latest cars and build cathedral. We are not if concern about how people is going to get to the kingdom of God but how we are going to reign and shine in the world that is what we are after.that is the reason why ministers of God is not honour again because of what they have put themselves into. May God help us in Jesus name!
Fraud In Some Families In The Bible

Jacob defraud Esau his blessing and birthright through food Gen. 25:29:34
1. It is very funny and some how difficult to place what will make a twin brother to ask food for the other brother and what will come out his mouth to "sell your birthright to me first"to the extent of telling Esau to swear an oath.
Isaac requested for bribe from Esau before he will bless him.
The question is that did Abram ask for bribe from Isaac before releasing his blessings to him? Isaac is not only son if Abraham or the first son. He forsook his wife's (Sarah) and cleave to Jacob's pot. Check the statement again in my own words
"cook for me meat as I love it then I will give you my final blessings. Is a serious matter.
Rebecca deliberately facilitate fraud between her son's(twin). Gen. 27:6-7. She heave dropped and to know what her husband was about to do and ready to suffer the consequences of what may happen even to the extent big her readiness to receive curse.
Rebecca refuse to confront her husband for deciding to bless wrong person she prefer using a dubious way to achieve the right thing. She is a fraudster
The parent have preference between the twin and showed it to them. Gen. 25:27-28.
Isaac and Jacob create enmity between their children by separating them. Isaac lived Esau because he use to eat out of his game and Rebecca loved Jacob because he is an indoor man. May Jacob use to help her in house chores. In as much Jacob is always at home his mother had enough time to teach him how to be a fraudster which he learnt very thereby he end up being an expert fraudster.
Ask yourself how do you handle and train your children? Don't you prefer one to other and you really show by your actions and words.? Check it very well you are a good problem for your children.
It is high time we desist from such behavior. You are a man of God one of your children is very good in running service in the church,he is a Sunday school teacher,he can play instruments very well but the other one cannot do anything like that so you prefer one. 🎤Mr Laban A Trickery Fraudster & Jacob
Laban accepted the offer of 7 years labor from Jacob before given him his daughter as wife. Gen.29:18-19.
Haran the father of Laban did not ask for bribe before releasing Rebecca to Eleazar as wife to Isaac and Laban was their. My question is where did he got his own principle.
He declare a open party disqusing he wanted to give Rachel to Jacob, but he gave him Leah V 21-23.
What an expert heartless fraudster. He made Jacob to serve another 6 years for Rachel.
Jacob tricked Laban by manipulating the process of conception and delivery of the animals in his favor. Gen. 30:24-43.
Laban changed Jacob's wages 10 times. 31: 6-7,41.
In your own mind now am too sure you are getting more than what an saying here. See what transpired between Laban and Jacob. Theirs is high level of fraud.

Eleazar refuse to wait unnecessary in Haran's house when he was to take a wife for Isaac.
Laban was there as Rebecca's elder brother.

She sat in the idol and lied that she was having her monthly period. Is not possible to be a fraudster without being a liar.
Leah by her attitude of fraud used what she has to get what she wanted. 30:14-16.
It was the turn of Rachel to sleep with Jacob. Reuben brought a mandrakes home and Leah cannot give to her sister out of it has she requested until she allows her to sleep with Jacob.
Rachel traded her union of love with Jacob to get mandrake(love flower). 30:15.
Greediness, longer throat,to get what she wanted made her to relinquished her turn of making love with Jacob to Leah.
Pls can we see what happens in this lineage which resulted to envy,hatred, division, killing in this big family.
We need to wash we are doing in our home that can mar the will of God in our home.

Ammon pretended to be ill(sick) and requested his father to send Tammer . 2sam. 13:5-7
Ammon defiled and defrauded Tammer of her virginity,her pride,her glory...
Imagine how Ammon lied to his father to release her sister to come to cook for him with the intention to rape,molest the poor girl
Absalom declared a fake party and invited all his brothers King sons to the party with the intention to kill Ammon. 22-23
Absalom a gentle master game planner kept silent for 2yrs waiting for conducive time when nobody will ever be suspicious of his intentions. He ended up killing his brother.
In his attitude of fraud he begged, persuaded,coerced his father David into approving Ammon's attendant of the party.
Killing,blood she'd became other of the day in David's how as a result of fraud.

This is a true saying: If a man is eager to be a church leader, he desires an excellent work. 2 A b church leader must be without fault; he must have only one wife, be sober, self-controlled, and orderly; he must welcome strangers in his home; he must be able to teach; 3 he must not be a drunkard or a violent man, but gentle and peaceful; he must not love money; 4 he must be able to manage his own family well and make his children obey him with all respect. 5 For if a man does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of the church of God? 6 He must be mature in the faith, so that he will not swell up with pride and be condemned, as the Devil was. 7 He should be a man who is respected by the people outside the church, so that he will not be disgraced and fall into the Devil's trap.
To be a leader in the church is a good thing. It is a place of responsibility.
But how responsible is a man that is not responsible at home?

The same God gave to man marriage for the purpose of companionship, procreation, Dominion which is made possible through the helpmeet given to him(man).
But it is a pity today that a lot of Minister's of God today are foreignersand strangers in their very home. They place ministry above marriage which is wrong in God's order things.
Marriage precede Ministry i.e God instituted marriage before ministry. Our ministry start from home If your wife cannot applaud you,any applaud and accolades you may receive from people outside is a praise that will kill the ministry.
WHO IS A GOOD MINISTER?
I will look at it from the perspective of marriage, family and husband
👉🏿 A man with one wife.
Read the text again. A man that will be a minister that will receive applaud from God must have just one wife. Presently we have Minister's that have girl friend or concubine in any common or major cities of ministration. They abandon there wife at home and prostituting all around hidden under the umbrella of ministry.
Pitiable enough some will lie against holy Spirit that God instructed them to leave or divorce there wife to marry another. But the Bible says in Malachi I hate divorce.
What do you say about pastor that says his wife is no longer fit for the ministry because of the booming ministry his present Calibre, status,class,friends, associate,exposure, the same wife that was with him when things are very tight.
One of my fathers in the Lord used to say this, ask your wife this question:am going to make heaven or not? He said if your wife said yes, congratulations.But if she said no, you have a serious work to do.
Because she knows much about you.
Whatever you wife says about you is whom you are because she knows you too well.
No matter your calibre and exposure you are husband. You are G O, Apostle, Most senior Apostle, Reverend and Bishop, Pastor and prophet. You must know that you are husband to someone.
People may carrying your Bible.
Another cleaning your sweat.
Another person cleaning your shoe....
Mind you somebody is at seeing your nakedness daily as the case may be.
👉🏿 Manager of his family
He must be a man that can take care,instruct,regulate, checkmate his family.
It means He must be able to
Teach: A good husband and father must be able to teach his family members in the ways of God. The principles of God in tbe Bible
E.g Holiness, obedience,charity, respect for elders, truthfulness,moral, faithfulness....
but father and husband that all these are not visible in his life how will he teach his family members?
We may be eloquent,vibrant, hardworking,loving and caring in the church and at home otherwise all our activities in the church is just Zero.
Note: Your first congregation is your family members.
Your first pulpit is your table at home
Your first pew is the chair in your living room
Your first member is your wife.
👉🏿 A self controlled man.
A minister of God must be disciplined in all sense.
Disciplined in responding to sexual intercourse while his wife is not available. God gave us sexual gift but outside our wife is like heaping a coal of fire upon once lap which will definitely burn the lap.
Discipline in eating. Some minister of God can eat anywhere, even on the road, it shows how loose the person his.
Food is good, we need it, but not all offer of food byou can take.
Disciplined in issue of money. Don't be a pastor or leader that easily say both your money and other people's money that we should not lack any of them. It means money can't be kept in your custody. You are junior brother to Judas Iscariot
👉🏿 A respectable man.
He must be a man of integrity and dignity. Mind you is your wife and children that can attest to your integrity,then people in the society.
Your relationship with others, male and female, in the neighborhood..... Who are you in the community?
You don't demand respect but you command respect. You must stop shouting and requesting for respect. Your attitude and disposition will determine may be you will be respected or not.
👉🏿 A man without fault.
He must be faultless in all sense. Like Jesus the prince of this world came to Jesus but they find no fault in him. Faultless in issue of money, women, friendship,word,..... If you are standing in the front of people to teach and preach to them in any issue, are you not faulty in those things you are teaching them. You can ever be a good Minister and husband if you a man with faulty.
