Truth be told, when I woke up this morning, I had no plan on what to do or what to write on. Call it lack or foresight and today has been fun as I went on an impromptu outing, well that's that on that.

As a kid, I've always thought anxiety is a the feeling when one is eager to know what is what, why the sky is blue and why the pepper sauce is red, I've always thought that is where the definition of anxiety ends, but of recent I've realized that it's far from that, let me explain it to you.

Anxiety is your body's natural response to stress and stress here is not the tiredness we feel from doing a particular hardwork, stress is a feeling of emotional or physical tension. It can come from any event or thought that makes you feel frustrated or angry.

Anxiety is a feeling of fear or apprehension about what's to come. It's a feeling of what will happen next and you getting scared of it.

What is the feeling of anxiety

When your body feels a need to look for every possible danger and trying to avoid it even when there's nothing like danger, it's programmed in the person's brain already.

Symptoms of anxiety

  • Feeling restless: When a person feels the need to walk and sit and sleep and be awake at the same time, that's when a person is restless. You'll come online and at the same time you feel like watching an offline movie, you feel like doing everything at once, you won't be able to concentrate on one thing hence you'll be walking around restlessly without a particular aim

  • Getting fatigued easily: You get tired easily due to anything you do, you get tired while eating and end up dumping the food, get tired of reading and playing game

  • Difficulty in concentrating: This is the point when most people have this brain freeze and suddenly their mind goes blank, they won't be able to achieve a thing from whatever they're doing because their mind is distracted

  • Sleepless night: I think this is a common thing because most people hardly sleep, though they might not have anxiety it's just simply insomnia and mostly anxiety leads to insomnia whereby you won't be able to sleep, then your body gets used to it and if the body can't take it any longer, it suddenly breaks down.

How to stop the feeling of anxiety

  • Take a time out, like put everything on hold and let everything play out itself

  • Eat balanced diet meal

  • Exercise daily

  • Take deep breaths

  • Get enough sleep

Anxiety leads to overthinking and this leads to depression when you shut yourself off from the world and start thinking and you start having some mental issues because you're beginning to overthinking, when your body can't handle all the stress any longer, the body becomes weak and the person dies. So it's a two way thing, it's either the person goes mad or dies and it's the two outcomes are bad.

You shouldn't be worried about whatever will happen next, just make your plans and let nature and life take their turn on your plan, if it's going to work so be it and if doesn't, you can always try another way. Try to get enough sleep and engage in positive conversations, go out more and see goofy picture and movies if it will cheer you up atleast, whenever you're feeling things are not going your way, well life can never be as rose because if all is going our way, we might not value some things. Things would still go your way, you shouldn't just think about the bad aspect, think on the good and see some joy in it, it will help you grow mentally. You can always have someone by your side to listen to you and if you don't have, you can go to a bar and start a conversation with a stranger, it helps I'm speaking from experience though. Just be happy no matter what. Thank you
