Is it corruption; The struggle continues Just after I thought the struggle for the jamb regularization is done, it was like fate was against me doing my jamb regularization in Ilorin city. You might be lost about what I'm trying to talk about but you can catch up on my previous article. Since I had already written my name and number, all my thought was that it would be my turn today to have some good luck on my side, I got up from the bed and went straight to the Jamb office, I got there at exact 7:32 am, so I was still a bit early, to my surprise people aren't much at the gate, so I was anticipating it would get to me but to m surprise, I was told they won't answer anyone from my school. I decided to wait for the director that has been attending to us, it took some time for the director to come around and with that, the number of people had already increased more than the one I met when I arrived at first, I already made up my mind that nothing is gonna make me go home today without getting my regularization done. The director came around and inform us that, some people that entered yesterday haven't done theirs, so they are going to attend to them first and if they can finish with them, a new set of people will come in. What!! So I won't be called in that morning, at that point, I started having stomach pain, damn not now. Why is this pain coming now, I tried to endure it but it turned out to be poop, I was sweating already and I couldn't hold it anymore, I took the next transport bus to my bus stop and rush home. I did my business successfully and it was then I thought to myself. This same regularization, some people came after me and still get theirs done, some people were picked up at the gate, some people just placed a call and they are already inside, while some just paid the extra money and they are inside the hall smiling, isn't this corruption. I don't want to get involved, I do have a man that asked me to bring my details so he can submit it to someone in the jamb office but I decided to get it done myself, but with this stress I have felt for the past few weeks, I think I would just have to use the short cut and not line up or wait for them to call my number. When it favors you, it's called connection, but when it doesn't, it is called corruption Well, I don't care anymore. So I decided not to go back to the Jamb office again but instead, I would submit my details to the man even if I have to pay some little amount of money. I made up my mind to visit him tomorrow. Just this night as I was eating, I got a call from a friend of mine in my class, she was like Hey fash, where did you go when your name was being called, your name was called several time In my thought: I already gave up on the hard way, and I would use my influence to get things done, as I was about to tell her I gave up, she said When your name was called, I answered for you and told the man that you're my Rep, and other of our course mate to confirm, I told him you went to school, that the HOD called you so you had to go, I have collected your batch number, you just have to come tomorrow and do yours. I was surprised, is this a sign, will she be my wife in the future. I better stop those nonsense imaginations, I was very happy and I thanked her so much. My number is with her and she promise to bring it for me tomorrow. I hope if I go this time around, there won't be any disappointment again. Lastly, I got drugs to help me with my purging so I won't have to leave the Jamb center tomorrow again. Thanks for reading...
