It is taken for granted that each of us has 24 hours in a rich, poor, happy and unhappy day, a businessman and a garbage collector.

We share the amount of time we have, but we differ widely in how we spend that time

Time is like iron, the more effort is spent in managing, organizing, and exploiting it, the greater its value

And as Al-Hasan Al-Basri said: "O son of Adam, you are days, so if your day is gone, some of you will be gone."

Before embarking on this blog, I would like to clarify that the reasons for wasting time vary, including

First: personality

1- Lack of daily follow-up.

2- Failure to prepare an integrated program for life.

3- Problems at work and at home.

4- Personal circumstances.

5- Long working time.

6- Lack of leisure time.

7- Mental instability.

8- Sleep more.

9- Lack of feeling responsible.

Second: Administrative

1- Poor programming and time management.

2- Lack of prioritization.

3- Poor good planning and future vision.

4- Rush to take decisions.

5- Lack of information and misuse of it.

Third: environmental and social

1- Social networking sites.

2- The surrounding environment.

3- Community lack of respect for time.

4- surprise visits.

5- Our social relations.

These are the main causes of wasting time, so we must be careful of them

And as it is known that today = 86,400 seconds, why is this time sufficient for some people to run giant companies and institutions, and some people are not enough to accomplish the simplest work. The difference lies in the effectiveness of using time

You do not have more than 24 hours a day and 168 hours a week, and to properly organize your time, you must perform the following tasks:

1- Realize the importance of time

Those who do not realize the importance of their time are the most people wasted for them, otherwise those who do not know their value will not save their time, and therefore we recommend several tips in this field in realizing the importance of what time you have, so come with me:

First: Free time is a sheep that is placed by the empty ones, so do not repeat this word or use it, because there is no vacancy except for the trivial.

Second: that every minute that passes through you can worship God, remember Him, praise Him, thank Him, perform service for Muslims, enjoin good and forbid evil, or do good. How much is this minute worth then ???

Third: There is an obvious equation that should be understood, which is that time has no value for the empty ones, nor for the empty ones in life and among people. And as it was said: Time is like a sword if you do not cut it, it will cut you

2- Setting goals

There are many ways to keep focus and goal setting. You can put your phone away, turn off social media notifications, or block distracting websites. But the best way is to focus and do what you need to do. It is beneficial to limit your presence on social media to a minimum because it takes a lot of your time and does not bring much value in your life.

3- Stand and pause the bundles

Many of those who waste their time without interest are people who are not resolute and in many cases hesitant and cannot make decisions or fix mistakes in their lives, and this is one of the biggest reasons that affect times when times go and are lost, so you have to follow the following advice:

First: Stand with yourself and pause to contemplate the words of the Most High: "And that a person has nothing but what he pursues."

One of the successful administrators was asked what prevents people from succeeding? He replied: "The goals are unclear."

Second: Using the daily diary is a successful method, but it needs people to be alert

Third: Do you not write a daily program that takes an hour to write and then forget?

Fourth: Do not burden yourself in setting the program and do not try to be perfect too much, as it will quickly stop and fail.

4- Set your priorities well

Daily planning of your time is your first step in organizing time, and losing daily planning is the main reason for wasting time, effective planning will eliminate the problem of wasting time and here is how to prepare your plan correctly

1- Put your weekly plan on hand during preparation.

2- Place your list at the same time every day.

3- Write all your activities in the list.

4- Divide your time on your tasks according to priority.

5- Each task allocated a specific time to complete it.

6- Review your daily tasks.

7- Leave time for emergencies and do not schedule every minute of your time.

8- Deal well with emergency matters.

9- Leave time to rest for yourself and your family.

10- Stick to your list and do not be overly organized.

5- The glass jar: rocks, gravel, and sand

Classify your work this way:

1- Rocks represent your most important strategic projects.

2- Small pebbles represent important projects and tasks, but they are not the most important.

3- Sand represents smaller and less important tasks.

You have to deal with rocks first, then small pebbles, then sand.

If you keep dealing with the little things (sand and gravel), and leave the important strategic elements of rocks on, then your jar fills up quickly with no room for more rocks.

6- Be organized

1- Keep the room well organized.

2- Do not put on your desk except what you are doing now or what you will need during the day.

3- Maintain good lighting over your library.

4- Make sure the books are well arranged in your library.

5- Arrange your tools in their places.

6- Arrange your closet well.

7- The basket of timeouts is very important.

8- Focus well in between your hands.

Do not allow your mind to get distracted, and if you start a task, work to complete it completely, and if the straying visited you, remind yourself of the fruits of completing this work and try hard to be stronger than the causes of laziness and lethargy that visit you and haunt you to finish your task.

8- Learn to say no

Learn to say no to everyone who wants to waste your time and deduct from it unlawfully, pay attention before you say yes and your agenda is crowded with things that are not important, and do not worry for fear of angering those you say to them no, after a time they will understand your style and in the end you are the winner from saying no.
