The Most Ridiculous Smuggling Ever
The work of control personnel working at airports is quite arduous. However, sometimes they may encounter strange things during these checks. Some of the things found at checkpoints can scare you to death. You won't even believe some of them are real.
Today I'm going to talk about strange events that happen at airports.
Fish Under the Skirt
This is officially one of the most ridiculous smuggling cases ever. Border police stopped a woman arriving in Melbourne from Singapore after hearing a strange noise from her waist. Examining the woman closely, the police knew immediately that something was wrong here. They soon noticed that the woman was wearing a special apron under her skirt. So much so that there were live fish in bags in the pockets of this apron. Looking out of the bag unhappily, the fish looked like goldfish. Wild animal trafficking is a frequent crime in Australia and it is one of the countries with the harshest penalties for it. If found guilty, this woman could face a long prison sentence as well as a heavy fine.
Baby Tiger in the Suitcase
Bangkok International Airport security found a 3-month-old baby tiger in the luggage of a female passenger traveling from Thailand to Iran. This baby tiger, who had been put to sleep with a sedative, was put in the suitcase along with the plush tiger toy. What was going thing the mind of the person who did this? This is really very upsetting.
The suitcase was determined to be much heavier than normal and had to be first screened before being transported to the plane. It was miraculous to see the live animal hidden inside the suitcase from the X-ray machine. Animal control personnel arrived at the airport urgently. The passenger who was the owner of the suitcase was questioned. The woman claimed that the suitcase belonged to someone else. She said that she did not know that there was a live captain's cub in her suitcase.
Illegal transport of exotic animals is a frequent occurrence in Iran, and this little tiger was also taken to Iran. However, for the trip, the baby tiger was put to sleep with sedatives and could die from being stuck in the suitcase for a long time.
The Man Who Traveled With Human Bones
We are very curious what German professor thinks, who came to the Airport in Rome, it was found that this man who went through customs had human bones in his suitcase, and the man said he did not know that it was illegal to pass the bones across the border. He was arrested for his job of transporting human remains by roads and for his strange appearance.
94 IPHONES
A man who had 94 iPhones taped on him stopped by the Hong Kong airport. Obviously, it starts walking a little weird when people have too many phones taped on them. This passenger, who was trying to smuggle iPhone brand phones, was walking strangely, and this caught the attention of the security guards. At that time, importing iPhones to sell was a very problematic business in legal terms. The funny thing is, this passenger went through the metal detector like this, and all the alarms went off and the lights went out. As a result, the contraband was caught instantly. However, it remains unclear how the passenger would have turned off all 94 phones if he had managed to board the plane.
Chastity belt
In another case, a British woman was stopped by security while passing through a metal detector at the airport in Athens. It turned out that this woman wore a chastity belt worn in ancient times during the journey, which showed the loyalty of women to men.
These were just a few of the incidents that were dealt with by airport security officials. Have your thoughts about airport staff changed? Perhaps this article will allow you to change your perspective.
