The kid I was

July 20, 2021 Hi Readers! How are you tonight? It's been a chilly weather day today and it is soooo good to stay in bed and binge watch at Netflix, but since I have my own business and even if its holiday today I have to tend first to my business before thinking of something that is already a luxury for me nowadays. Yes, staying in bed and watching Netflix is already a luxury for me since I really don't have much time to do that. So I hope you guys are enjoying your holiday and doing something that I cannot do. I just read @CoquiCoin article about the challenge that originated from @bmjc98 and it is to share 10 facts about you when you were a kid. Let's see if I can come up with 10 facts about my childhood. 1. I didn't graduated kindergarten. Yes you read it right. Why? Because of something that I've done in the school. It was a recitation portion that time and our teacher is asking as to raise our hands if we want to answer. So I was raising my hand and the teacher called me to answer when suddenly the kid infront of me stand up and answered the question. I was so annoyed that time that when she was about to sit down I removed her chair. LOL and so she ended up in the floor and with the whole class laughing. Of course, the teacher got mad at me and asked me to bring my parents the following day. I wasn't brave enough to tell it to my parents and I wasn't allowed to go to school without my parents. Every day I leave the house without going to school until one day my mom didn't told me that she's going to my school to pay for my tuition fee and my teacher told her that she doesn't need to pay the tuition because I was not coming to school and that they cannot accept me anymore because I already missed a lot of lessons. Ending? I was grounded for a whole month. No playing for the whole month with my cousins and I have to wash the dishes every meal. Don't asked me if I learned my lesson at that time. LOL 2. You'll always find me in every Flores de Mayo.

I think my mom was that proud of me that's why you'll find me in every Flores de Mayo here in our street and even in our church. I really don't like it actually, why? who likes walking around wearing a gown on a hot summer night? 3. I don't eat mungbeans with sugar. I just don't like the taste of it and until now I find it weird. Imagine boiled mungbeans with sugar seriously? 4. I love playing with toy plates I have two sets of toy plates when I was a kid. One set is the chinawares toy plates that are real plates only they are little dinner plates with cups and saucer and the other set is the ceramic type of dinner plates and some cooking pots. The ceramic types are all gone now but the chinawares toy plates are still intact in my mom's cupboard. I love playing table setting with little food that I'll put on my plates and eat it. Yes, even when I was small I already love to eat and to cook. 5. I love watching the Sound of music and Superman I don't know how many times I've watch those movies but until now I still loved them. If you are familiar with the Sound of music I like the part where Liza and Rob was singing at the gazebo followed by the scene in the room where they sung these are just few of my favorite things. Superman. The first movie that I watch in the cinema with my Dad. And I think after two years it was already showing in the TV. 6. I have Asthma I have asthma since I was a kid so i really can't play that much outside of our house. I can't join any game that involves running. I remember when I'm having ashtma attack before my Dad will just carry me if I wanted to go outside. He will not allow me to walk because if I do I'll have a hard time breathing again. 7. I love going out with my Dad I was clingy to my Dad when I was a kid. Everywhere he goes I follow except when he was going to work of course. He always bring us to Luneta Park every weekend and every summer we go to the beach. I guess that is why I love traveling because he always make it a point to bring us to somewhere new every summer.

8. I don't eat fried tofu My family loves to eat fried tofu especially if its with mami or with porridge. But ever since I was a kid I don't eat fried tofu not that I don't like tofu it is just that I can't chew it in. I don't know what's with fried tofu but whenever I try eating it, i end up spitting it out. 9. I don't eat chips or junk foods. Yep, there is no chips or junk foods in our pantry when I was a kid. We are not allowed to eat it. My mom doesn't buy it and its prohibited in our house. They just say it is not good for our health and it is garbage, so until now I don't eat that much junk foods but at least I know them now. LOL 10. I love stuffed toys I do have a collection of stuffed toys because aside from my plate toys these are my back up toys that I can play with since I really can't play that much outside. I love teddy bears and there was a time when something happened to one of my teddy bears, i cried a lot to the point that i didn't go to school because of it.
