John: Babe, please hurry up, we are running late.

Gloria: Please give me a second, I will be with you, let me grab my bag.

John: Just be fast, I hope you know that time isn't on our side anymore. We've got just five minutes more.

Gloria: Okay, I will meet you down soon.

John: Oh my gosh, what are you still doing up there? We are late for the program and may likely not get a sit by the time we get there.

Gloria: I am coming, I need to put on my lipstick.

John: Don't do that anymore, we are already late, just come down let's go, we are behind time.

I hope, we can understand the scenario I am trying to portray, many of us just like Gloria and John have always been behind time for most times, things and people that are actually not worth it.

We forget that time waits for no one, nobody can stop time or hold it from ticking and as such it will continue ticking as long as the earth and human still exist.

I remember when we were kids still attending primary school, there is this particular adage that was always taught to every one of us that says, "Tick says the time, tick tick, what you have to do, do quickly." Another adage says, "A stitch in time saves nine" and another also says; Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise

My class teacher will always say that adage in class whenever she realized that some of the students refused to do their assignment for no reason except that they forgot because they were playing when they were supposed to be doing their assignment and as a result forgot about the assignment given to them.

She would then flogging the offender while asking them to chant the two adages written above. She would go on to say that, this time for us is to study and know what we are expected to know because there will come a time what we are been taught in our primary class won't be taught but another thing and it will be so bad when we realize that we don't know because the time when we were supposed to study, we did not but we were playing.

That word alone put so many of us in action and we always set our time correctly and know when to study and when to play. Both adages are explainable because they are talking about time and also encouraging everyone to be time conscious because time ticks faster than we realize.

It is obvious that time waits for nobody and as such, whatever it is we want to do or plan to do, we should learn to do that at the right and appropriate time to avoid not doing them at the end.

The time ticks and as such, we are all running out of time, so don't be stubborn, or perhaps, do not let your emotions get the best of you or make you stubborn that you fail to realize when to do a particular thing in your life.

If u love somebody tell them now, if you gonna be good to somebody, be good to them now, If u gonna apologize, apologize now, if you want to learn how to cook, learn it now, if you are gonna spend money, spend it now if you gonna enjoy, wine, dine and celebrate, please do them now, because time waits for no one, and if you fail to watch your clock, you are only gonna end up realizing all your life, you never did what you had a passion for or loved doing.

Don't let ur emotions make you stubborn that you fail to watch the clock. Don't let your emotions name you stubborn that you fail to realize every day you wake up, is a sign that the clock is ticking forward and not backward. Don't let your emotions make you stubborn that you fail to see that every sound of the clock on the wall is a sound to keep you conscious of what you are expected to do because we are all running out of time.

The tick of the clock waits for nobody, the tick of the clock will continue to tick every second, every minute, every hour, and every day because the sound and its tick is a wake-up call and not a kind of a fancy to anyone. The tick and sound are there to remind us that each minute, seconds, hour, and a day spent on planet earth counts and is supposed to be utilized to the fullest.

Drink in your summer, gather your corn, whether we like it or not, some things are inevitable in a man's life, the likes of the birth of a man, the death of a man, the sun rising in the morning and going down by noon, the moon bringing forth its bearing and going down when it is it appointed time and the passage of time with the tock the of the time and the sound.

No man can control the tick and the sound of the time, no man can detect what will happen in the next minutes, and as such, one must act immediately because the passing of time is unstoppable, and it will march on regardless of what anyone says or does. So it is high time, we get up and own it.

The problem with us is that we have so much time but in reality, we fail to see that we do not have as much time as we want even though it is free. It is priceless and as such, we should learn to stop wasting our time doing what isn't worth or of benefit to us. Do not let things that are not important and ignorant people subtract your time because the time is ticking.

Chase your dreams, let your time be fulfilled with what makes you happy and be the winner you are designed to be.

Time management is a challenge but with practice and discipline we can do it. Also, we should learn that some things takes time so we also need patience and perseverence.

Yeah, you are right. Some things take time and as such, we need patience but notwithstanding, at it right time, it will come. Everything has its time, and as such, we should always be ready so we don't lose out of time.

Some people even say time is money. But to me time is like an egg once broken can never be packed together again. Just like that timing is everything

We have to be time conscious in whatever we do in life.

Wow, this is a great illustration I never expected, I love the way you described it and yeah, timing or time consciousness is necessary, except we want to live miserably here on earth.
