Prevent negative thinking

Do you have a target you want to achieve? You know the steps on how to achieve this but you do not take action because you are thinking negatively. So in this article, I will teach you how to prevent negative thinking.

All I want you to know is that every decision you make in your life is based on your emotional state. To prove you war starts with emotion, two people get married because of emotion, other people do something against their will because of their emotion and most also do not take action even though they know what to do do because of emotions, so if you want to change your negative way of thinking, you first need to change your emotional state and there are two ways to change it.

Change your focus by asking better questions

There is a saying β€œWhat you focus on expands.” If you focus on the flaws you have, you will feel insecure and this feeling of insecurity becomes stronger because you are asking yourself allows a question.

For example, you are fat and no one likes you and the question you always ask yourself is "Why does no one like me?" and our brain is like a computer it will look for answers to your questions and the answer to you your brain is "no one likes you is because you are fat, because you are greedy, because you are not attractive," and the result is that you are depressed and hopeless because you are very negative. So, instead of acting to change yourself you just accept that this is how your life really is.

On the other hand, if you ask better question, you will get better answer.

For example, instead of asking yourself "Why does no one like me?" you ask yourself "How can I be attractive?" and then your brain will look for an answer. You will be attractive when you lose weight then you will ask yourself again "How can I lose weight?" and your brain's answer is "lose weight when you diet, exercise and eat healthy and these answers will motivate you to lose weight.

Another example, there is a presentation assigned to you in the classroom or at your work and when the time comes for you to present in front of your classmates or co-workers, what you have in mind is "What if I made a mistake?" your brain will look for the answer, when you make a mistake they will laugh at you, when you make a mistake they will look down on you, or worse they will tease you.So you will lose confidence in yourself so whenever you are given the opportunity to present, you just rely on others.

On the other hand, you ask a question better question "How can I improve my presentation?" then your brain will find the answer, you search on YouTube, you will ask people who have presented before and this answer will change your emotional state from afraid to a conditional presenter.

Tony Robbins says, "The only thing that keeps you from getting what you want is the story you keep telling yourself." So, instead asking yourself "Why you can't have it?" Asked yourself "How you can have it?"

CHANGE YOUR PHYSIOLOGY

Do you notice when you are depressed or sad, you are often bent over, your tone of voice is slow and you often get "Hayyy .." and your breathing is shallow. If that is what is happening to you right now it means you are sad or depressed.

On the other hand, try to stand up, straight body, chest out, chin up, speak fast and loud and imagine that you have a cape in the back that looks like you are Superman, you will feel the sudden change of your emotional state and this too what I often use whenever I think negatively.

To summarize, if you have a target that you want to achieve you need a new set of action but to apply this new set of action, you need to change your emotional state because if your emotional state is in fear, anxiety , security you will think negatively and you will not take action but if you want to be an action taker you need a positive emotional state. You are happy, excited, confident, motivated to do the right things and there are two ways :

  • CHANGE YOUR FOCUS BY ASKING QUESTIONS

  • CHANGE YOUR PHYSIOLOGY

Totally worth the read. Implementation of crystals is highly recommendable, some people become the worst version of themselves by pretending to be good cos of the game but truth lies in healing.
