Do you know how the book "Pippi Longstocking" came about? I believe that each of you knows who Pippi Longstocking is and that you have read books, probably watched a movie. You already know that Pippi understands everything, knows everything and best of all, she comes up with crazy adventures. Pippi is strong. Pippi is brave and curious. Pippi is her boss. She lives alone, without adults and their rules. Pippi does not go to school but to adventures. Pippi has a suitcase full of gold and a head full of imagination. Pippi has a monkey, a horse and best friends, Anika and Tomi. Pippi is a favorite friend of millions of children around the world. Do you know how the book "Pippi Longstocking" came about? Nine-year-old Karin, the daughter of the writer Astrid Lindgren, was lying sick in bed. She told her mother, "Tell me about Pippi Longstocking." Everything else is history. It was immediately clear to my mother that this story must be special, considering that the girl has such an unusual name. She indulged her imagination and began to invent adventures for this unusual heroine. Since Karin enjoyed those stories, her mother decided to publish a book about Pippi and give her to her daughter for her tenth birthday. She offered the manuscript to a Swedish publisher, but it was rejected on the grounds that the book would have a bad effect on children. Astrid reworked the text and sent it to a competition announced by another publisher (Raben & Sjogren). Mom won the first prize and the book was published. It was 1945. It's been a long time since we saw her on small screens in a story that mixes reality and imagination, we believe that the recognizable actress' smile would immediately associate you with an unusual spotted girl, the most famous fictional character. By the way, the real name of the actress is Catherine Inger Monica Nilsson, and she is currently 61 years old. Today, she lives in Stockholm and works as a secretary, and occasionally accepts a theatrical role. In 1975, she won the TP de Oro Award for "Most Popular Character" for her role as Pippi Longstocking, which many grew up with.

Don't get too many vitamins and minerals! The main recommendation for strengthening the body during a coronavirus pandemic is significant and that patients suffering from chronic diseases, especially after a long period of home isolation, and before returning to the collectives, regularly take zinc and vitamin C and D. Overdose does not occur often, but if the recommended doses are exceeded, vitamin C can cause various ailments, such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, which is more common in patients with kidney disease. Vitamin C is very important for our body and general functioning in order to have enough energy during the day, so it is necessary to take enough vitamins and not overdo it. -The daily dose of vitamin C recommended for women is 75mg per day -The daily dose of vitamin C recommended for men is 90mg per day Absorption of vitamin C is disrupted by stress, high body temperature, tobacco, alcohol, antibiotics, salicylates and oral contraceptives. Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin. Our body does not store vitamin C, and does not produce it on its own. Because of this, it is important to consume foods that are rich in vitamin C on a daily basis. Consuming high amounts of vitamin C can lead to side effects. Some of them are problems with the digestive system, or kidney stones. When the body is overloaded with higher doses of this vitamin, it begins to accumulate in the body. This potentially leads to symptoms of excessive sweating. Zinc is an essential mineral, it is found in small amounts in the earth's crust. In food, it is most often found in foods of animal origin, and less in foods of plant origin. It is very important for the functioning of the whole organism, and since the organism does not synthesize it, we must take it in through food and supplements, especially in the winter. Zinc is found in small amounts in the body, about 2 or 3 grams. But because of that, the organism felt a small deficit. Zinc participates in many processes in the body. To name some important roles of zinc to understand how important it is to us: It participates in protein synthesis, thus stimulating mental and physical growth and development. Contributes to the strengthening of immunity and resistance of the organism, reduces the possibility of colds. Vitamin A promotes the resorption of zinc, and in combination with vitamin C it is an excellent choice for the prevention of colds. In the brain, it acts as a modulator and has calming effects, thus the deficiency causes nervousness, depression, poor concentration, poor memory… Excess zinc in the body rarely occurs, and if the amounts are greater than 200 mg), abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting occur. Other symptoms include dehydration, lethargy, anemia and fainting. Prolonged intake of large amounts of zinc in the body can cause a lack of copper in the body. This can occur if more than 25 mg of zinc is ingested daily. Long-term intake of zinc in amounts over 150 mg per day leads to reduced immune system function and reduced HDL cholesterol levels leading to heart disease. Increased zinc intake during pregnancy can be harmful to the fetus. The best measure for everyone is moderation, and that also applies to vitamins and minerals. Many people do not know this, but too many vitamins and minerals can cause serious health problems.

Quandary Hello dear friends. I have been on the read.cash platform for a month. I'm relatively new. The Robot hasn't visited me in a week. I did a little analysis of articles, articles. I compared my articles. Some are rewarded by robots, some are not. I wrote my life story in parts. One story he liked, I was rewarded, the other that was a sequel didn’t get a single cent. Here is an example https://read.cash/@tmile/my-life-story-5-09f2ed4b It is seen here that I have no reward. This second story is the same topic just a sequel. I wrote about my life. I already received an award there. https://read.cash/@tmile/my-life-story-2-b51b7523 I am in a dilemma now. What is it that a robot brings to your profile? Am I a good enough writer? Are my topics uninteresting? If you know the reason I would like you to help me. Give me guidelines. I want to be successful. Thanks to everyone in advance for the suggestion

My cat Dolly One hot summer morning I went to the store for bread and milk. When I opened the door of our house, a real surprise greeted me in front of him. One little kitten, just born, slept on our doorstep. As I touched him to caress him, he crawled under my skin. I looked around the house and across the street to see if anyone was looking for him, but as his mother's cat was not around, I brought him some milk to feed him. I thought that the kitten would leave after I fed him and that his mother would surely be waiting for him somewhere, because there were very few, however, the poor kitten was left without a family and was released into the world to just manage. His world is cruel. Fortunately, there was room for him in our family. After a few days, the kitten completely got used to the new environment and accepted our home as his own. As no one came to look for him, we decided to keep him and make him our pet. When we found out she was a girl, we named her Dolly. From day one, she was a very sweet, straightforward pet. She has gray, almost blue soft hair, gray eyes and is not like other domestic cats, she is different and special. Although Dolly has her own corner in the house, the soft pillow on which she sleeps, she spends most of her day in the yard playing. They say that cats draw negative energy and affect a good mood, and that is really true, whenever I am sad, she sits on my lap and seems to absorb all my sadness. Cats are very interesting creatures and are one of the most impressive animals. Not only have they almost completely preserved their habits and instincts, even though they have been with humans for a long time, but their anatomy and development of the senses still fascinate their owners and fans, as well as scientists. The average cat sleeps between 4pm and 6pm during the day Calico (tricolor) cats are almost always females Most cats are lactose intolerant, so they should not be given cow's milk Cats "knead" with their paws when they are happy There are 19 types of meowing An adult cat has 30 teeth They can reach speeds of 48 kilometers per hour On average, a cat can jump seven times more than its height The female is pregnant for 58 to 65 days Cats cannot taste sweet foods She heard the smell of cats 14 times stronger than a human They have five toes on their front paws and four toes on their hind paws Cats that fall from the fifth floor have a 90 percent chance of surviving Cat's mustache has an important function, which is to use it to locate objects and move easily in the dark. They can't see when it's completely dark, but they see many times better than people in low light Greeting in the feline world is touching the noses Cats sweat over their paws

May the Christmas holidays be happy and fragrant. Hobbies are there to change the monotonous everyday life and provide a very special meaning and beauty to life. Browsing through interesting pages on the internet, I found an idea and fell in love with my hobby. Since I adore small, big, fragrant, colorful candles, I decided to make them myself. I found the procedure: Making candles in a home workshop can be a fun hobby, regardless of whether you make candles to give to someone or just for your own enjoyment. The first copies may not work best for you, but with a little experimentation and personal creativity, after a few attempts, you will be able to make the candle exactly the way you wanted and you will not regret the time you invested in this hobby. To make candles you will need the following material: wax (paraffin or natural, can be obtained in pharmacies and beekeeping equipment stores), wick (it can be bought in textile, thread and upholstery stores), candle mold (anything can be used here: plastic bottles, cookie cutters, cardboard toilet paper rollers, choose yourself), wax melting utensils (old kitchen utensils that you no longer use for food preparation), thermometer (the best would be laboratory, graduated to 100 degrees Celsius), smell, colors. To begin with, you also need to decide which wax to use; paraffin waxes are most often used, so in this text there will be the most talk about such candles. Beeswax can also be appreciated, there is even a way to make a candle without melting. Fill the bowl halfway with water and heat it on the stove, and put a smaller one in it, in which you melt the wax. There should be a hole in the bottom of the candle molds. If you do that with those paper towel rollers, make the bottom yourself, again from some harder cardboard or plywood and similar materials, and then drill a hole in the middle of the bottom. Cut the wick 10 centimeters longer than the length of the candle. Tie a knot at one end of the wick, then thread it through the hole in the bottom of the mold. Tie the wick to the top of the mold with a pencil or similar oblong object and make sure the wick is centered (in the middle of the mold). If the mold is made of cardboard or plastic, then you will not heat the wax to a temperature higher than 55 degrees Celsius so that the dish does not deform from the heat. If your mold is made of metal, then you can freely heat the wax to a temperature of 80 to 85 degrees, which is also optimal for casting candles. If the wax has melted, bubbles may appear on the surface, and if it is too cold, bubbles will appear inside the candle. Gently pour the wax into the mold. In the case of multi-layered colored candles, each ring is poured on the previously cooled and hardened one. If you pour candles in pots, small cans, glasses and similar containers, then it would be desirable to dip the wick in the melted wax in advance, cut it to the desired length, and then center it in the pot again with a pencil. Cool the poured candles for at least 12 hours. Interesting transparent candles can also be made in glass cups. Fill two thirds of the glass with water, and then fill it with oil almost to the top. Cut a circle out of a piece of plastic bottle and drill a hole in the middle. Pass a piece of wick through it and place a plastic circle on the transition between water and oil. The water candle is ready to use. Let your imagination run wild and make your own scented candle out of it. May the Christmas holidays be happy and fragrant. Source Google.com

A fish that saved lives Malaria is a parasitic disease whose main clinical features are recurrent attacks of fever and fever, caused by the synchronous decay of erythrocytes, infected with one or more species of parasites of the genus Plasmodium. The name of the disease comes from the ancient Romans, who believed that malaria was caused by bad swamp air, which surrounded many habitats of that time. Malaria is one of the most common infectious diseases worldwide. It is estimated that about a billion people suffer from it every year, of which more than 2,000,000 die. d by being bitten by an infected mosquito or by a blood transfusion that contains the causes of malaria. Intrauterine transmission is also possible. The mosquito is infected by a sick person during the period when mature gametocytes are present in the blood. Today, malaria is found in countries in Africa, Southeast Asia and South America. In other parts of the world, malaria has been eradicated, and the so-called imported cases. Analyzes of two thousand-year-old remains of human teeth collected from several sites on the Italian peninsula confirmed the presence of malaria during the Roman Empire. Earlier research suggested that malaria was one of the major diseases affecting the Roman Empire. "Indirect evidence of the existence of malaria can be found in records from ancient Greece and Rome. Symptoms of the disease, attacks of fever and fever have been described. Today, they have also been discovered in the ancient remains of human skeletons. " There are various monuments in this world, deserved and undeserved, and in Sochi in 2010 it was erected by fish. It is a special species, gambusia, which saved this region from - malaria. Thanks to these small freshwater fish, which can survive in salt water, the Black Sea coastal area is "cleansed" of mosquitoes that are carriers of the disease. The systematic fight against malaria began in the Sochi region only in the 1920s, on the initiative of a bacteriologist-malariologist, the honored doctor of the Soviet Union, Sergei Yuryevich Sokolov. Over three decades, an effective system for eradicating malaria on the coast has been established, and the approach has been complex: treatment has been organized for the city's residents at 13 points; water surfaces were covered with a film of oil, gasoline or kerosene, to kill mosquito larvae due to lack of air, regularly pollinated green areas with a solution based on copper sulfate. They also used biological weapons - eucalyptus trees, planted near wetlands and other water surfaces. These plants need a lot of water to grow, so they quickly drained the tanks that were affected by mosquitoes. However, the main role in the victory over malaria was played, according to the doctor himself, by a small fish that "drowns" mosquito larvae with incredible speed. It took over 30 years to fight malaria, and 1956 was the first year in the history of Sochi during which no cases of malaria were recorded. Source Google

The return of a natural remedy for colds Due to the fast lifestyle and daily stress to which we are exposed, the immune system first suffers and becomes an easy target for a large number of viruses and bacteria that are waiting for every opportunity to spread and multiply. It is known that viruses and bacteria are transmitted the fastest in contact with an infected person. On that occasion, they reach for a bunch of antibiotics in order to suppress pain and discomfort as quickly as possible. As much as antibiotics help with various health diseases, their constant use creates the body's resistance and instead of suppressing all harmful microorganisms that live in the cells of the human body, they create resistance to antibiotics and continue to spread. South African nutmeg is one of the better alternatives to antibiotics, because it works where their effect is absent. South African nutmeg belongs to the genus of plants Pelargonium, and the place where it is most represented is the area of South Africa. Members of the Zulu tribe used the plant as an effective remedy against colds, respiratory infections or stomach problems. This natural remedy for colds is known today as South African nutmeg and is gaining in importance in the fight against respiratory diseases, viral infections and stomach problems. And this has been shown by many studies that have examined the healing effects of this plant on all symptoms of colds, coughs, headaches, nasal secretions, etc. It is interesting how the South African nutmeg reached European soil. Namely, at the end of the nineteenth century, the British Charles Stevens visited South Africa with the hope that he would find a cure to cure tuberculosis. Charles will, on the recommendation of local doctors, take this local medicine and after a few days feel positive changes, and after a while he will fully recover. Mass use of this medicine in England will follow. With the advent of synthetic drugs used to treat tuberculosis, a drug based on South African nutmeg will be slowly suppressed, until a few years ago, thanks to a group of European scientists who will use it in their research. Based on the research that was performed with the aim of examining the action of this plant, the stimulating effects of nutmeg on the part of the immune system, which has the role of protecting cells from viral attack, were determined. The medicine is an extract of the root of South African nutmeg, and in our country it can be found in the form of drops as the medicine Resistol. It has been determined that in addition to the elderly, children can also use it, because the drug does not interact with other drugs, nor does it have any side effects, which is very important for the safety and security of the use of this drug. In our country, South African nutmeg appeared last year and can be found in the pharmacy in the form of drops. The plant shows effective effects in the treatment of respiratory infections, especially colds. Relieves cough symptoms, fever, as well as nasal symptoms. A traditional herbal remedy based on South African nutmeg alleviates the symptoms of acute and chronic bronchitis.

I won' t forgive you about the children Evening like any other. The streets of Belgrade are full of busy citizens. Unexpectedly, the sound of an airplane is heard. I will fly over Belgrade. An echo is heard. Crack. The planes dropped bombs on my city. On March 24, 1999, at 7:45 PM, the first danger sirens sounded. The now well-known, deafening sound blew the air over Serbia. Over the next 78 nights and days, NATO planes fired about 50,000 different missiles at our country's soil. While NATO planes destroyed everything in front of them, the people hid in basements, finding salvation and hiding in smaller villages, which were considered not visible on the map of NATO aggressors. In 1999, 19 countries of the Alliance, without the approval of the United Nations Security Council, attacked, first the barracks and air defense of the Yugoslav Army, and then the entire country. Infrastructure, economy, schools, hospitals, cultural monuments, media houses were destroyed ... Scenes of broken Novi Sad bridges are also remembered. After a series of controversial attempts and offers from the international community to resolve the Kosovo crisis, the first planes took off from the base in Aviano, dropping bombs on military and civilian targets throughout the country for the next 78 days. The military intervention in the FRY began on March 24 at around 7.30 pm, on the orders of the then NATO Secretary General Javier Solana, and the government in Belgrade declared a state of war that night. Attention, attention, air danger. Turn off the electricity, turn off the gas, open the windows, lower the blinds, move the curtains. Bring prepared things and slowly descend to your shelters. The lives of the people of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia have changed abruptly since March 24, 1999. The NATO bombing took many lives, houses, buildings, bridges, factories, shrines, cultural monuments, schools, media and health institutions were destroyed ... Numerous protest concerts were held during the bombing. People gathered, sang on bridges and held targets on their chests and banners reading Sorry, we are singing. In the NATO aggression, NATO planes hit the international express train 393 on the bridge in Grdelica gorge, which was traveling on the route Belgrade - Nis - Skopje. To this day, it remains unknown why the train with civilians was a justified target of the NATO alliance, whose planes fired 4 missiles at the composition at the moment when the train was crossing the railway bridge on South Morava. The exact number of dead was never determined, but it is assumed that more than 50 people died. In honor of the dead citizens, a commemorative gathering on the bridge has been organized every year so far, and the train has stopped to pay tribute to the victims. This year, due to the pandemic caused by Covid, there will be no gatherings. If she were alive, Milica Rakić would be 24 years old today. Her name remained deeply engraved in the people. She was killed on April 17, 1999, when she was hit by shrapnel in a house in Batajnica during the NATO bombing. On that fateful April 17, sirens signaled an air danger. The "Angel of Mercy" has embarked on another of its genocidal missions. Only 45 minutes after that, the rocket hits the house of the Rakić family in Batajnica ... It hits a girl who was not even aware that a war was going on around her, it hits three-year-old Milica Rakić! Little Milica was on a stretcher in the bathroom. bust of Milica Rakić. In 1996, the rock group Riblja čorba published the song I won' t forgive you about the children . During the bombing, it gained a new meaning, and today it stands as a memory for all the children who died in Yugoslavia in 1999. I won' t forgive you about the children It doesn't matter where I stay when I ll sin or fast But one thing I cannot forget I won't forgive you about the children You were an always welcome guest and I served you with pleasure Maybe I am primitive, rude even I didn't forgive you about the children Why did your bullets go towards my children I dream of them and fantasize I cannot forgive you for the children The overflowing rivers between us I might bridge but there are still other things I didn't forgive you about the children

What do women like? "I broke the glass in my hands like chocolate, I cut my fingers because I couldn't touch you." The essence of the love provided by a macho man is an absolute renunciation of any suffering for a woman and the expectation that a woman willingly submits to a man. Traditionally, such a man is considered the ideal "head of the family", who will make all the decisions independently and be the only one responsible for the material security of the family. However, in modern societies, with the division of labor and the conditions in which both women and men have to work to support a family, the cultural matrix has changed greatly. There is no written rule about what a man looks like, in a positive sense. Maybe the real man is hiding in all of you, that is, in individual choice. It is certain that the diamond of masculinity was obtained at birth, so wild and raw. It remains to grind it. It is precisely culture, upbringing, education, but also other social factors as well as the influence of the media. They say that a real man is strong, does not cry, does not complain, does not cry and simply does not have time for weaknesses. But it can also be a prejudice. Well, men also have emotions, so it's normal for them to blink or water their eyes at an unpleasant event. However, perhaps it is in this "strength" that women see support and security in a man. The very thought that someone can suffer and endure something that the weaker sex fails, evokes the feeling that we are safe and under the protection of strong hands. The man, they say, adheres to the tradition and history of his ancestors, and knows the importance of the family very well. He protects her and the organization by force of will. A real man doesn't gossip. He keeps information and never talks about people he has never met. In the cult war film The Return of Hamlet, Arnold Schwarzenegger succinctly conveys Hamlet's turmoil: "You killed my father?" Big mistake? To be or not to be? Don't be! ” Zero reflection, lots of impulse and action. "Analysis of the phenomenon of machismo" defined the traits of a macho man as a patriarchal man, a soldier, a man of action, who leads his struggles on the fringes of civilization and who is not characterized by thoughts about ethics and morals. This setting, cultural experts explain, is conditioned by the collapse of value systems connected with the collapse of states. In such circumstances, in an atmosphere of great insecurity, all the responsibility of the "struggle for survival" falls on the shoulders of men: "The ideal of a man who is able to ensure the survival of his family occupies the top of the value ladder." A real man knows how to defend himself. Of course, that does not mean that he is a "regal" but that he knows how to reach the goal. Sam. That it shouldn't be inherited jobs or money from Dad's account. That he can show that he earned every drop of his precious perfume exclusively with his hands and mind. A man knows that he is the blacksmith of his own happiness. So, he knows that he is the one who shapes destiny and does not look for the culprit in another for his failure. People say that a real man is focused. He does not waste time on things that cannot bring him profit. A real man is focused on power, family and work, and his main goal is not sex. This pleasure comes as a reward for the acquired power, money and wife. According to one study, women are more likely to go out on a date and even have sex for one night with someone who is mature and behaves protectively than with a metrosexual, who takes too much care of his appearance. Vaughn, Ryan Gosling, Javier Bardem or Matthew McConaughey. Of course, they do not ask you to look like them, but to look masculine, be careful, take care of your body and act like a mature and responsible man. The survey showed that the popularity of metrosexuals is declining and that members of the fairer sex are increasingly turning to the traditional masculine type of man. Of course, don't forget that every woman will appreciate honesty the most. It is very important for all women that you can protect them, satisfy them and be careful and gentle with them. They will appreciate the fact that you know how to fix something in the house much more than the fact that you take care of your hair.

Ornamental grass pampas Ornamental grasses are an exceptional decoration for any garden. There are a large number of different species and varieties, different colors of leaves and flowers. They are generally very easy to grow and are perennial, more and more beautiful from year to year. You can also grow some species in pots. If you buy seedlings in pots, you can plant them all year round (just so the ground doesn't freeze). The name pampas grass, this striking plant with fluffy flowers on top, was given after its original home in the plains of Pampas, Argentina. It was brought to Europe at the end of the 18th or the beginning of the 19th century, and it is known that it arrived in California in 1848, because that is when its commercial production began. Today it is grown in more than 20 varieties. It begins to bloom with pink and purple flowers, but when they ripen they also turn white. It can be seen on the west coast of the United States, but in New Zealand, for example, it is completely banned. Pampas grass is a perennial ornamental grass, which is often grown in the garden due to its interesting shape. Large silky brooms adorn its stem, from late summer to next spring, if the winter is not full of precipitation. Since they can last for nine to ten months, they are a very unusual decoration in the garden, and they are also used for making flower arrangements. For the last few weeks, the biggest trend in interior decoration has been decorative pampas grass. I went for a walk today. I picked ornamental grass and decorated my home. Dry pampas is a decoration that can be used in absolutely all rooms, from the living room to the bathroom, and in each of them it looks both simple and magical. Pampas become a visually appealing decoration in the home without too much effort. Just put a few stems in a vase and choose their location.

Hand or keyboard? Is the art of writing dying out in the age of computer screens, iPhones, iPads? In the world, time dedicated to writing is increasingly thrown out of teaching, but many experts warn that it harms the intellectual abilities of students. Although the keyboard and tactile interface are gaining importance in all spheres of life, scientists say that it is harmful for our brain to give up writing. The problem reached its peak when some countries, such as Finland, presented a plan to completely eliminate writing lessons in class and replace them with typing on computers or other digital devices. Is this the right decision? It seems so, because currently in everyday life we use the keyboard more often than paper and pencil. However, several studies have shown that handwriting has a positive effect on the human brain. According to the Finnish media, due to the consequences of the digital revolution from the autumn of 2016, in primary schools throughout Finland, students will not learn to write in written letters, but only in block letters. According to Minne Harmanen of the Finnish Ministry of Education, the use of the written letter and the interconnection of letters is exhausting for many students. Children, they hold in the ministry, concentrate on the handwriting, not on the essence, and that is one of the main reasons why they decided on this kind of novelty in their education system. They also hold that if students start using a computer immediately, they should not have such problems. The announced news made the students happy because the new generations, instead of writing on paper, prefer to write on computers. It is expected that a successful Finnish education system will encourage other European countries to think and change. Their neighbors from Sweden are already discussing the possible abolition of the teaching of written letters, and in some German schools only printed letters are also taught, the so-called Hamburger print font. University of Washington professor Virginia Berninger has developed a study that proves that writing with a pen or pencil stimulates the work of the parts of the cerebral cortex that are responsible for memory and information analysis. For the purpose of the study, the professor asked students from one school to write two short essays: one on paper and one on a computer. Analyzing the texts, Berninger found that handwritten essays are more creative and contain a richer vocabulary. According to the professor, who also included magnetic resonance imaging in her research on the functioning of the brain, the children had better results due to the fact that the brain works more actively in the process of writing by hand. No matter how modern society is, you will always have to know how to sign. The letter is part of the personality, like a fingerprint. Developing beautiful writing is certainly something that is useful and it is really not clear to me that the Finns decided to take such a step. That the manuscript is part of the personality because two of the same manuscripts do not exist, and therefore the manuscript, I believe, should continue to be nurtured. Neuroscientists claim that handwriting activates areas in the brain that help us learn faster and better and that children learn to read faster when they learn to write by hand, but also better generate ideas and retain information.

Vitamin bomb Broccoli is a dark green plant that belongs to the same family as cabbage, kale and cauliflower. It originates from Asia Minor, and it arrived in Europe in the 16th century, when the French queen Catherine de 'Medici realized the benefits of this vegetable and decided to make it a part of her table. From the land of Gallic roosters, broccoli then arrived in England, under the name Italian asparagus. It first appeared in America in the 18th century. Today it is mostly grown and eaten in Mediterranean countries. In modern times, it is spoken of as a vegetable that is at the top of the list of foods important for a healthy diet. This vegetable is an excellent antioxidant, extremely rich in vitamins A, C and E, which slow down cell damage caused by free radicals. For example, it contains twice as much vitamin C as oranges. Broccoli is especially recommended for pregnant women because it has higher amounts of folic acid and as many as nine B vitamins. In addition, women who take folic acid into their body reduce the risk of developing uterine and lung cancer. It also contains minerals - calcium, magnesium, potassium and significant amounts of iron. It is also rich in fiber, which has a positive effect on the digestive organs. Red beans, like most legumes, are an excellent source of both types of dietary fiber important for optimal health: insoluble and soluble fiber. Just one cup provides approximately half of the daily fiber requirement. About a quarter of fiber is a soluble type, which lowers cholesterol and keeps blood sugar balanced. The rest of the fiber in the beans is insoluble. This is a type of fiber that protects your digestive tract and helps prevent diverticular disease. Fiber can also help control body weight, because it creates a feeling of satiety and maintains satiety for longer. As a source of thiamine (vitamin B1), the consumption of red beans stimulates attention and memory, which is especially useful during periods of intellectual overload, eliminates insomnia, fights depression, fatigue and anxiety and reduces the risk of Alzheimer's disease. In addition to all the above benefits, regular consumption of red beans strengthens teeth and bones, can help you lose weight, reduces the risk of heart attack and gives energy to the whole body! Today I made this healthy salad for my family. I used broccoli, red beans, carrots, sweet corn, green beans, garlic and lemon. Try it for yourself! It is very healthy, tasty and decorative.

The British government sent troops to Syria and Iraq to protect innocent people who had been killed, humiliated or a special threat from ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) or al-Qaeda militants. My position here is an English major and I have several soldiers working under me in my unit. We have about 12 units here and 12 British majors are under our superior who is a general. You don’t have to worry about me or my unit, we are in a good area and patrol daily to make sure every route or network is safe. • My history I am from Bristol, London, England. I grew up as an orphan. I raised an aunt who is very old and in a nursing home in Bristol. I graduated from Bristoli High School and accepted my commission, later joining the British Army because I can’t go to college, then the University can’t let the British government take care of my teaching. After I graduated, I joined the army, and he came in handy for this position. I also have an MBA from the University of Bristol in England. My son lives in Bristol because that’s where I have my house and I never wanted him to live at the RAF Menwith Hill military base (military barracks). My nanny takes care of my son who is 8 years old until I return. I plan to retire soon because I am a widower and would love to spend time with my son. My plan is to retire within 2 months and I have sent a letter to my superior regarding my request. I know he will be accepted because I have to take care of my little child. I am kind and humble with a good heart and I have great values in human life because I am a member of the British Army. My friends and those close to me never have to ask if the words I say are sincere. I am insistent on personal / mutual respect, kindness and honor. I am kind by nature, but I believe that trying to feel the boundaries of others shows care, sensitivity, and a willingness to look beyond yourself to see that I am a true person instead of caring only about my own desires and needs. I am 175 cm tall, I weigh 70 kg, with an athletic stature, and I have always been a very sports oriented / active person. I have light black hair and brown eyes. Free time - I like to travel, I like different types of concerts, symphonies and other times. I am a music lover. I like listening to a lot of music. I am looking for someone who is honest, understanding, honest and caring. I don’t want to fall in love and later regret the appointment or cheating. I think people should know the reasons or reasons for dating married, no divorce. You should not get married, who have no feelings, you and your love and understanding of people. This is also a very important issue. Since I lost my wife in 2010, she died of blood cancer. I am alone, ready to start a new life, a new love. I don't think distance is my problem. I believe we can be re-appointed if we go to find happiness. I am ready to move close to the right partner and be happy with people. To be honest, I’m not afraid of distance, because communication is the key, don’t be so seduced. Yes, I know, chat is not an effective way to communicate, but it seems to be an easy choice, let’s try to face this challenge together. I want to know more about you. I was lonely and had to talk to someone to erase my grief so I decided to talk. Someone here in the military introduced me to this program. He is my younger colleague and he told me that I can find someone who is honest and caring. I came across your name ID when I did a random search, so I decided to say hello and I was surprised when you responded. I hope you're not angry about this? I'd like to talk to you somewhere. I’m really interested, and I really want to know more about you. I would really like to ask more questions about each other. That way we can learn so much from each other. Maybe one day we might see if God wills it. What do you think? I would like to know what you do in your free time. What kind of food do you like. I would really like to know everything about you. I have attached some pictures of me so you can see. He then sent me a message on Facebook. To help him move a large suitcase of money to me, To keep it until he comes from Syria. I should pay $ 2,000 for transportation. I would share the money from the suitcase. He also sent me a picture of the money. I told him that it was a scam and that I would report him. He deleted his Facebook profile so I don't have those pictures and he never called again. The most common way of cheating is mail you receive from a member of the royal family or someone from the Nigerian government who asks you "in confidence" to help them transfer a large sum of money (usually millions of dollars), of which you will receive a large part. You only need to pay small expenses to make the transfer, but what is that compared to the millions you will surely get. And so you decide as a great benefactor (money is secondary to you of course) to help a Nigerian princess who only trusts you. The first time it takes a few hundred dollars to bribe some people, after that you need to send a little more money to pay the fees, and then you need a little more money for a bank commission… You know where that goes. The scam has its variations on the topic, but the basis is the same, a large sum of money is offered, and in return a "symbolic amount" is demanded. This method is still known as the Nigerian scam, although it has been perfected by many so far. You certainly think that there is no chance for someone to believe in this story, but if there was no effect, the fraud would not continue. It simply goes to the massive number of emails sent, and it is enough to catch a few of them and the scam pays off. Watch out people! Nobody gives big money.

My life - story 5 Dobro vece dragi moji. Pozivam hitnu pomoc, dolaze posle sat vremena. Mama ga je u medjuvremenu probudila. Setila se Bogojavljenske vodice i umila ga. Hvala ti Boze! Stizemo u Zemunsku bolnicu. Stoji mati. A ruke su joj na putu. Nastavak sledi... Hvala sto me pratite. Good evening, my dears. I continue with my life story. Dad is very ill, his leg has been repaired so that thrombosis does not spread ... but something else is happening. He has throat cancer ... he's in the hospital ... we visit him every day and cheer him on. We pray to God, we burn the saint for his health. It's been going on for six months ... he's a little in the hospital, a little at home. Doctors say he has to go under the knife ... His vocal cords have to be cut and a cannula implanted. It will prolong his life .... long deliberations, pleas, persuasions ... he persistently refuses. And so the days and nights pass, one of us was always awake next to him ..... Finally a quiet night, he sleeps peacefully, does not cough, does not choke .... we watch him sleep peacefully ... we are happy, let rest, sleep well. At 2 he should take the medicine, mom wakes him up, calls him, strokes his hair ... nothing .... We are persistent to wake him up, but we can't do it .... he breathes but doesn't open his eyes .... scared we are. I'm calling an ambulance, they're coming in an hour. Mom woke him up in the meantime. She remembered the Epiphany water and washed it. Thank you God! The doctor from the emergency room examined him and said, he has to go to the hospital, his mother is with him. My sister and I are in the car with my uncle. We arrive at the Zemun hospital. They take him into a room, mom is with him ... we stand in front of the door, we listen ... nothing is heard .... the door opens, mom invites my uncle to come in .... again that fear ....What's happening? Is he alive? .... we hold hands and wait .... finally, the door opens ..... Mom and Uncle come out. Mom hugs us and says he'll be fine, she'll operate on him. She had to sign the consent because Dad was not conscious. The operation was urgent, and it was done immediately .... 15 minutes later it would have been fatal, he would have suffocated ...... Two weeks passed .... they released him from the hospital, they told us that he had left very little of life, that they did everything ... He has one hour when your mother helpless standing in the corner. She is after you hands sent. The mother is standing. And her hands are in the way. To be continued... Thanks for following me.

Fear of severe and serious illness Fear of illness is normal and helps us take care of our health. However, when it becomes excessive to the extent that whenever something hurts us, we suspect the worst, a serious disorder occurs. If you are one of those people who always suspect that they are ill and know all the symptoms of incurable diseases by heart, it is likely that you are really sick, but from - hypochondria. Hypochondria intensified at the time of the corona. The corona virus pandemic has caused a stir around the world, the number of infected and dead is growing day by day, so it is not easy at the moment. How to stay healthy at the time of the corona is one of the main issues in 2020 - the goal is not to cough, not to sneeze and not to get a fever. We read every day, everything related to the corona virus. New symptoms, statistics, finding a vaccine ... It all came down to the level of information, and then the slogan is "I don't want it" and then panic squeezes my chest, it seems that my throat is scratching, that I am one of the infected. Behind hypochondria often lies the need for a person to attract attention or to find a valve for the bad feelings we have towards ourselves or others. For example, you have emotional problems that you do not dare to talk to your partner about, so instead of "darling, we have a problem", you will say "my heart is constricting, I'm dying". Not all hypochondria behave the same. Some run to the doctor as soon as they feel the first symptoms of a "serious illness", asking for all possible analyzes to be done. Others are not responsible for their health at all. Fearing what the doctor might diagnose, they avoid any examination. They think that the disease occurs when the doctor finds it and they are known for the sentence "I will not go, who knows what they will find for me". Whichever group they belong to, hypochondriacs must seek professional help from a psychologist or psychiatrist. In addition to harming their own mental and physical health, hypochondria unknowingly harm people in the environment. As a rule, the family initially takes the complaints of one hypochondrium seriously. It is often called Ambulance and reacts violently to his every cry for help. When they see that their loved ones are imagining everything, family members resort to day and night conversations and persuasions. However, you can't just convince a hypochondriac that just dying of a heart is just a figment of his imagination. General practitioners also have problems with hypochondriac patients. In the world, such patients are entered in the health card as hypochondria. That way, the doctor does not waste time doing all possible analyzes.

My life - story 4 Zdravo dragi prijatelji....opet ja, pa da nastavim. Ustale smo, doruckovali u tisini, svako u svojim mislima. Nastavak sledi... Hvala sto me pratite. Hello dear friends .... me again, so let me continue. We got up, had breakfast in silence, each in his own thoughts. It was Saturday, we didn't go to school ..... I remember that silence, that look back at every noise that was heard ... So all day .... we turned on the table lamp, lowered the blinds and talked very little, quietly. .... it's getting dark, no one was looking for us, we're still safe, warm ... it's November, it's cold outside .... I feel some slight relief. Suddenly, footsteps and a doorbell ring. Petrified, silent, looking at each other, not moving ... still ringing ... these seconds are, eternity .... go away I think to myself, go away, please! Someone persistently rings the bell and starts knocking on the door. We all curled up around Dad’s bed and still keep quiet ..... just let them go! Suddenly a voice is heard Savo, are you there, open ... It's Ratko! Frightened, I looked at my dad, a slight smile on his face and quietly ordered us to open the door. There were two men at the door, one of them is the one from the previous story that I collided with him on the way out ..... He approaches my dad's bed, kneels next to his bed and cries together ..... Mom, sister and I are in disbelief we are watching .... What will happen? ... I heard part of the conversation .... On Monday they will move us to the street, with the police. That's right, that other man from Kosovo got an apartment ... Cika Ratko is the president of the union in my father's company, I found out later .... he came to his aid, to help his sick colleague ...... I remember that Dad, nodded and said ... Let them pack. It was about seven o'clock in the evening. At midnight we were already in another apartment in New Belgrade .... And not to be outdone ... later we sorted out all the paperwork, so this apartment became us legally. Even today, I am grateful to God that I came across Uncle Ratko that day, grateful to that man with a big heart, that he understood our situation, that he helped us .... Days, months, years go by. My sister and I finished high school in economics .... we started working, sometimes through youth sometimes for a while .... Dad is still sick, he got a disability pension .... We live much better financially, but we worry for his health .... he is getting thinner, he partially repaired his leg with some strong bandages that his mother used to wrap every day. They remove many torments, And when I shun strength they give, know it's just hands, my dear mothers know. To be continued... Thanks for following me.

My life - story 2 Zdravo dragi prijatelji. Ruke moje majke Zbog njih svetovi postoje! Žanju polja kad ožite, Vežu rane kad osvoje, Uvek nežne lekovite. Nastavak sledi... Hvala sto me pratite. Hello dear friends. I hope you are all doing well. Here I continue my life story. I wrote to you that I have a younger sister, that we were born and raised in a working class family. When my parents from the village came to the big city, many relatives, godparents, neighbors remembered them. Whoever had a job in Belgrade knocked on our door. We always lived very modestly in one room ... In one corner a cupboard..Remember that green cupboard? I think these older generations have seen it at least somewhere. It was a set of kitchens for us. There were all the dishes, spices, flour, potatoes ... There was a wooden table next to it, Dad made it from some boards. Mom always found a nice kitchen towel to cover it, to beautify the room. Next to him was a spore. Across the road, on the other wall, two couches. There was always bedding on the couch ... beautiful, white, clean, starched. Behind the door is a double wardrobe, in the middle of the room a hundred and four wooden chairs without backs .... Do you know what I'm aiming for? Carpet is a traditional hand-woven woolen fabric that can be used as a rug, bed cover or sofa. It was woven by my grandmother and given to my mother when she set out into the white world ..... As I write this to you, so many pictures come to me, I remember everything, so clearly ... as if we are now in that small, modest warm home. Eight people used to sleep in that 15-square-meter home. Many people came, because they don't have anyone in Belgrade, and they came to look for a job, to go to the doctor, to buy a tractor ... and they all came to us. Then we slept on the floor, and gave our place to the guests ... There were many such days. There was one of my father's relatives, who came to study in Belgrade. He was with us for a year, until he got a room in a dormitory ..... I will write about him in a future story. My mother's hands Because of them, worlds exist! They reap the fields when they come to life, They bind the wounds when they win, Always gentle medicines. To be continued... Thanks for following me.

Nastavak sledi... Hvala sto me pratite. Dear friends, I have decided to write you a true story about my life. I will write to you in several parts .... One life cannot fit into one story. My parents are from Bosnia. When they got married, they came to Belgrade with a belly full of bread. My father got a job as a driver in the City Transportation Company. Mom was a housewife. They rented a room with a shared bathroom in a suburb. Soon I was born, and two years later my sister. My parents struggled. One salary, tenants, two children ... we often didn't even have a normal lunch. My mom told me because I don't remember that ... One morning we wake up, happy, happy ... something nice smells ... my mom is making us breakfast. We asked her what she was preparing for us ..... she hid her tears so we wouldn't see her cry, because she prepared a small cake of half a kilo of flour and two steamed potatoes with garlic ..... that's all she had in the house .... She was sad, she didn't have more, and we were happy .... we didn't understand her grief. We were also pleased with what little she had to give us. How warm my mother's hands are Like whiteness from light clouds, Now I know that the true fairy tales are about goodness, which my grandmother often told. To be continued... Thanks for following me.

Arrogance is a bad trait Having self-confidence is great, but until it turns into conceit, that is. nafuranost, exaltation of oneself, underestimation of others and that is no longer a beautiful trait. True self-confidence is what you have independent of other people's opinions and confirmation and applause from others. Now, the question is how many people really firmly believe in themselves and their qualities, and that it is not just the result of the lull they received from their parents, for example. and habits of always being the center of attention. I think that self-confidence is built through life experience and success that someone achieves through hard work. Everything else is someone's ordinary conceit and conviction that he is a very important factor, and based on nothing. One should not confuse self-confidence with arrogance, arrogance, conceit ... Moreover, I have a theory that conceited people do not actually have self-confidence, but a complex of higher values, and that is not the same thing. Self-confidence for me means being aware of your (real) qualities and (real) possibilities, loving yourself and respecting others, having a realistic picture of yourself and accepting the fact that no one is perfect, that everyone has flaws and working to "fix" those flaws . Behaving like God and exalting oneself above others, not descending to the ground and having an attitude like "no one is like me" has nothing to do with self-confidence. It is logical that man must first love himself and fight for himself, for his existence, and there is nothing controversial about that. I agree that everyone should be in the first place, but let's say I'm the first, I don't think I've ever been more valuable. Why? Well, because each individual is for himself and there is no comparison. What I am talking about is not conceit, but a completely normal attitude towards oneself - putting one's needs and one's happiness first is not conceit. Personally, I think that conceit is an insufficiently defined state of someone's pattern of behavior, which is characterized as negative. Conceited people are usually claimed to be selfish, narcissistic, arrogant, vain, selfish, inaccessible, etc. But it's not that simple for women. There are opinions that among the conceited ladies there are numerous examples of exceptional women who, with their hard attitude and arrogant behavior, in some way protect themselves from intruders and lazy suitors. Arrogance is the worst trait a man can possess. While self-confidence is the key to an attractive man, arrogance and ostentation totally lowers the mood. On the other hand, a man without self-confidence is just as unattractive as this one with too much self-confidence.

Christmas cactus A beauty that will make the holidays happy and beautiful colors in your home! Meet the irresistible Christmas cactus that wins the heart. This cactus is a frequent decoration of our homes, especially at Christmas time when the flowers in red, purple, orange, yellow, white and pink bloom lavishly. This plant is one of the articulated cacti that originates from South America. Their leaves have changed into green and flattened articles. They grow quickly, and new articulated leaves and buds sprout from the old article, the last in a row. They reproduce easily, and each article has its own root. It is enough to put it in moist sand and it will take root in about twenty days, so you can transplant it into a pot with soil for cacti. The Christmas cactus, which got its name because of the period in which it begins to bloom, and that is exactly during the New Year and Christmas holidays. The Christmas cactus does not like strong sun, so it is ideal to put it on the east side where it will get the morning mild rays. For ideal flowering, it needs to have up to 10 hours of light. Relocation is not recommended, especially if it has started to bloom, because then the dormant season begins for it. It is also important to keep an eye on the heat in your home. It should be moderate, neither too hot nor too cold. 20 degrees is recommended as ideal. Under no circumstances should you transplant it during flowering, while after this period you can. The Christmas cactus is transplanted every two to three years to spread the roots, and then it is not bad to take pelcers for new plants. Many make mistakes, so they cultivate this beautiful flower as if it were a cactus. Although it bears this name in its name, the Christmas cactus is a flower that must not be left without water and in a room with dry air. The holidays bring a whole new energy to our homes, whether we like it or not. Whether it is music that is inspired by the holidays, home decoration or general mood, this season always manifests itself in one way or another. When we talk about plants that should decorate our homes in this part of the year, you should know that in addition to the Christmas tree, there is also a Christmas cactus, which should be an unavoidable part of our decoration.

The tears are OK... With Sadness you just have to be able to ... Sadness is like an old woman selling carnations in pubs, you just have to pretend not to notice her, so she will turn around and leave, even though at first it seems that she will be whining at the table forever ... And watch out ... If you give her just a crumb of attention, she won't calm down until she fills your entire basket ... And then you're done ... Because Sadness never forgets the faces of gallant customers ... And he will never bypass you again ... Sadness is a gem whose value is not so well known among the world. Not only do adults avoid being sad in all possible ways, but they also teach children from an early age. How many times have you seen or experienced a situation where a child breaks a toy and when the child starts crying, the parents comfort him: "Don't cry, we'll buy another" or "Don't cry, you're a big boy, you won't cry because of the toy" or "Don't cry , it's just a toy, you have 100 of them "etc. This sends the message that crying is not desirable, and that we should deny our loss in every possible way. Losing a toy for a child is a big deal, just like losing an expensive necklace or hitting an expensive car for adults. That is why an event like this is a great opportunity to show your child how to deal with losses in life. Men may think that crying is "only for girls", that sadness is a sign of weakness, and some people can avoid sadness for fear that it will last forever and that they will never get out of it if they give in to it. Of course, this is not true, sadness is a process that has its very clear beginning, development and in the end even a happy ending. In contrast, the suppression of grief lasts indefinitely, because psychological resolution is prevented. There is a disorder called prolonged grief, in which case experts should be included, but the work is again focused on going through grief, and not denying it. Grief is a normal reaction to the loss of a loved one or object to which we are emotionally attached. At the root of grief is psychological pain that when expressed and accepted brings relief. Grief helps us to continue living even though there has been a loss. It is a function of sadness and that is why sadness is a useful and healthy emotion. Do not resist feeling sadness and pain. Whenever you feel the need to cry, allow yourself to express sadness and pain. If the crying does not stop, that is, if you cry for days, then you are not grieving, but despairing. Despair always lasts longer, and includes imagining a terrible future, self-pity, feelings of helplessness and meaninglessness. Whenever you feel anger, frustration or sadness, you suppress them, you stress your body. This can lead to high levels of hormonal stress, which leads to reduced immunity and poor thinking. Over time, stress leads to and works diabetes, memory problems, aggression and depression. Children need to be taught that death and loss are natural processes that happen, they are sad, but they need to be dealt with. Avoiding going through the stages of grief leads to illness, most often to depression and addiction. It is important to go through each phase of mourning and overcome it, because without that it is not possible to continue a "normal" life.

First love, there is no forgetting... I'm a sad bird with a soft beak key on the stone looking for water just like humans and birds favorites seek when they leave. Maybe from the beginning it was like in the picture on the cover - two high school students who enjoy each other and think that no one sees it. The road from the settlement of Zarkovo to the First Economic in the eighties and conversations about grades, friends, matches, strange hairstyles and clothes we laugh about today ... Stolen moments because it's so nice to laugh together ... And so until the third year of high school, together when "threesomes" are celebrated in street basketball in the area, or school successes, together and when it gets stuck somewhere ... And then, from friendship, intimacy is born, and intimacy means what maybe everyone around and assumed was on the verge - love.I remember my first love and that summer in the neighborhood. I also remember the basketball courts where he won threesomes and me. I remember where we girls stood and what we talked about. I remember everything. Yes, just about everything, because love defines a woman "And the first and the second and every next, and especially when the last is like the first. Many high school relationships end with the last school bell. They usually do not end because we are unhappy or because we want to, but because it is more practical. Because of relocation and great distance, in some countries because of going to the army, disapproval of parents, understanding that we have become different. When that feeling of incompleteness remains, then the question arises as to what would have happened if we had not separated. We were the most beautiful couple in economics school. But as the year drew to a close, it was clear that our love would not last. We broke up because Dragan said he didn't love me. I ran crying, determined never to meet him again. He repented the moment he said it. I called her for days, but she didn't want to answer. He thought he hated her and stopped calling. Fifteen years later, the graduation anniversary was to be celebrated. He searched on Facebook and asked if he would go. When he saw her pictures, everything started coming back to him. They talked for a long time and realized that they never wanted to separate again. Some things never pass. And some loves never pass.

Once VS Now Etiquette is the rules of decent behavior in society. They mean a nice way of expressing and behaving well-mannered and educated people. We live in a time when old values and traditions have been set aside, and chaos reigns on the street and in interpersonal relations. Let us recall some rules of conduct, which are accepted in every society. The general rules of etiquette apply equally to ladies and men. If you care about other people's opinions, it is important that you know the rules of behavior in order to leave the impression of a nice, cultured and refined person. There are rules of conduct that until recently showed that a person knows good manners. Many of them today not only do not mean the same thing, but they are also - rude. A lot has changed in the last ten years, from technology to fashion, which somewhat includes the way we behave, that is, manners. As society changes, so does our way of life, because we adapt to the world around us. Here are some rules that our parents used to stick to so as not to earn the label of a man without manners, which today is losing a bit of meaning. Old rule: Waiting for a formal introduction to meet a certain person. This used to be a tactic used at work or in elite clubs. It was a way to limit socializing based on race or gender. Fortunately, this is a practice that is no longer acceptable today. Today, even the idea of having to wait for someone else to introduce you before you meet is considered a sign that you are too polite. New rule: Self-presentation is now polite behavior. Old rule: A thank you note must be handwritten. Handwritten thank-you notes are still a nice gesture and people often appreciate and cherish them. But taking the time to find the right one, write it down and send it is often not easy, and the act of gratitude itself is much more important than the way you do it. New rule: To express gratitude quickly, send an email or SMS and that's fine. However, if it’s someone’s big gesture, do your best, because a handwritten message really has more value and never goes out of style. Old rule: If it’s not on social media, it hasn’t happened. About ten years ago, smartphones and social media were new to many people, so filming a meeting, a meal, or an event while it was in progress, which you immediately posted, was even cute. New rule: We should never use the phone at a desk to chat, send messages, update social media, or surf at all. And always ask for consent first before posting or tagging a friend in a post. Old rule: A man would get up when a woman enters a room. Traditionally, all men would get up when a woman entered the room, or had to sit at their table. This was perceived as a sign of respect and chivalry. In the last decade, there has been a great cultural shift in the way we treat gender, especially at work. New rule: It's okay to stay put and greet a woman just like she's a man. Today, many women want to see them as equals, not just women.

You don’t have to be rich and beautiful just be good and give me a flower. You don’t have to be rich and beautiful just be good and give me a flower. "In the first days, God created woman, and for her pleasure a rose," wrote Victor HUGO. Although countless types of flowers are known today, many still consider the rose to be one of the most beautiful. It is believed that from Persia, where there were special gardens of roses, it was transferred to Babylon, to the famous gardens of Semiramis, thus becoming a symbol of the power of the state. The rose was also highly valued by the Romans. And to them she was a symbol of love. Delighted by the "queen of flowers", they often cut fruits and olives to plant roses. Each of their mansions was surrounded by hundreds of rose bushes. They believed that the scent of a rose defended a man from drunkenness. Because the wreaths of roses were too heavy to wear, they strung rose petals on a string and decorated their foreheads, arms and necks with them. The tables at which they ate were sprinkled with roses, and the jugs from which wine was drunk were adorned with a rose wreath. In ancient Greece roses were known and loved. The first public garden in Athens was founded in 306 BC by Epicurus, because he wanted to pick a rose flower every day. The ancient Greeks offered Aphrodite, the goddess of female beauty, love and fertility, a rose on the altar, while Aphrodite's priestesses wore white rose wreaths during religious ceremonies, and the paths they passed were sprinkled with roses. The origin of the red rose, according to mythology, is related to the death of Adonis, a handsome young shepherd when Aphrodite fell in love. According to tradition, he was mortally wounded by a wild boar and Aphrodite came to his aid. However, the goddess had to crawl through a dense plantation of roses, and then blood gushed from her wounded body and painted all the surrounding white roses red. In the Roman Empire, the cult of roses was brought to the highest level. The rose flower wreath was used on all occasions. Military leaders were adorned with it, young men went to war with a wreath on their heads, a rose flower was given to the winner, and the winner's weapon was dedicated to the flower. Later, the rose flower became a symbol of joy, pleasure and love. The red rose has a long history of meaning. They have been presented many times in art, from classical paintings and poetry to modern music and film today. Throughout history, they have permeated many cultures as political and religious symbols. The mystique of the red rose has been a source of immeasurable inspiration for centuries. However, it stands out the most as a symbol of Love. Such roses, in our current opinion, are a traditional symbol for Love and Romance. Modern red roses were introduced to Europe from China in the 1800s. However, their significance is linked to centuries earlier, even to some of the first societies. The color red itself has grown from a primary meaning for life into a metaphor for deep Emotions. As the tradition of exchanging flowers as a gift of attention grew stronger, red roses have, of course, become flowers that send the strongest message of love. This tradition has survived to this day. They continued to be the most popular way to say "I love you" to a special person. These roses are a wonderful symbolic gift, perfect for expressing feelings towards a loved one for Valentine's Day, a special occasion or "just like that, for no reason". In a friendly relationship, a bouquet of red roses can be a signal for the beginning of romantic feelings. They send a message of attachment or a call for the next step. Even the simplicity of one red rose can provoke a powerful response.

Be worthy of love if you want to be loved. Did it happen to you that you just want to take a break from your partner..you still love him and want him next to you but you would just like not to see each other for a certain period and for that time period you want to be a little lonely and that time dedicate only to yourself? Any serious relationship whether you are married or not gets to the point where one or both partners feel they are missing something. It is not always sex or, better to say, lack of sex that is the problem… The feeling of emptiness that always makes us depressed can appear in one or both partners at the same time. Therefore, it is very important that we always take care of the signs we receive from our partner. People are together while they want to be together. Neither duty, nor honor, nor morality bind one man to another with chains. When a man wants to leave, he will leave, both from the house, and from the children, and from the dying cripple. When he doesn't want to - he stays. When someone wants you to be together, none of your flaws will bother him. When he wants to leave, no virtues of yours will keep him. No matter how ugly and unattractive you are, you will definitely find someone who will love you. But, no matter how good and desirable you are, there will be someone who will reject you. If he rejects you, it means nothing. You don’t get worse or smaller, really nothing terrible happens. There is a man in the world who will accept you. What is bought for money is only material value. What was begged, obtained by crying, abducted and stolen, will be abducted and "tripled" returned. What is given by good will, from the heart, is priceless. How to recognize your man? Simply. You will go to meet him, and you will run into him in the middle of the road. He didn't know. You didn't call. You found yourself. And wherever you went before, now your path is the same.

@tmile

If you don’t like the path you’re on, go for another ! Hello dear friends. I hope you are well and happy. Today I will write about what happiness is and whether we have forgotten to rejoice due to the general situation and spontaneously indulged in worries and whether happiness is a matter of our choice or a set of circumstances under which we live. Is it because of the unexpected Covid situation in which we find ourselves, and the struggle, as people in the profession say more and more often, against the invisible enemy that we have begun to ignore the joy of life, even the small one? The need to find flaws in everything pushes a person deeper and deeper into the abyss and the vicious circle. They learn late that happiness is a matter of choice, not the circumstances that surround us. Anyone who is not satisfied with the current things in their life can change that. Happiness comes, it does not come alone. One must make happiness for oneself, because no one else will do it for him. If you sit, whine and wait for beautiful things to happen, you are just wasting precious time. In some people, the inner voice, which constantly "sounds" and criticizes, is very loud, so loud that it draws them into a vicious circle that only adds to stress and anxiety. When your inner voice says more negative than positive things, it can have a bad effect on your health and increase the risk of depression and stress. The negative inner voice, that is, that self-criticism, can appear in different forms, but the topics are usually the same: these thoughts limit a person's ability to make some positive changes in life. Fortunately, there are steps that can stop this inner voice that constantly tells you that you are not good enough and help you finally shine in full splendor. When you recognize a negative thought, try to replace it with some positive thoughts. When you think you are not valuable enough, replace that thought with the sentence "I am worth it" or something similar. If we want to change something in our life, it is important to move towards that goal and start doing things that are challenging. If you are dissatisfied, change something. After all, if you were destined to be in one place all your life, then you would have roots instead of legs. It is never too late to change your whole life. No matter how old you are, if something chokes you, change it. If you don’t like the path you’re on, go for another one. I decided to be happy and adjusted to the decisions, tore off all the shackles that did not give me progress, left the old programs and said you don't care what others will say, no one walks in your shoes. It took me a long time to dare but when I dared and started an avalanche of good feelings, there was no option to go back to the old. I work, I live the life I dreamed of, I give thanks every day, I meditate, I enjoy the little things. My people, go ahead, head up, maybe the changes don't happen right away, don't blame yourself, give yourself time, everything will come at the right time. May the year 2021 be the best in your vocation!

The magic of gratitude Life is a gift, and what you do with it is entirely up to you. Be grateful for this gift and use it to heal this beautiful planet we live on, our mother Earth. The key to a happy, healthy and successful life is gratitude. It uplifts and sustains us, and attracts us what we want. Gratitude brings even more of what to be thankful for. It increases the abundance in your life. Lack of gratitude or grievances do not bring anything to look forward to. Let's spend as many moments as possible every day, thanking for everything good in our lives. If you have little in your life now, you will get more. If you have everything in abundance, you will get more. This way you can only get. You are happy and the universe is happy. Gratitude increases your abundance. I find that the more I try to be grateful for the little things in life, the bigger things simply come to me from unexpected sources, and I am constantly looking forward to each new day with all the surprises that keep coming my way. Every day offers us a reason to be grateful, and we need to look for those special moments and remember them. Good health, the opportunity to help others and the support of good friends are all reasons to be grateful. The magic of gratitude is that it makes even the greatest "poor" the richest at the moment, because a grateful person knows how to value and be truly satisfied with what he has, while an ungrateful person, no matter how much he possesses, always finds himself poor, because he constantly feels emptiness and lack of something, is eternally denied fulfillment. This is the confession of a girl who believes in the power of the subconscious, gratitude, positive vibrations ..... Would you think that it is possible to send an email to a strong law firm, which was looking for interns (or law graduates), even though you have not finished college yet? I am, and I am just finishing my third year. Let me mention one more "little thing". As I was interested in them with the first e-mail, and as they called me for an interview immediately, they told me that my working hours would be 9 am-5pm, they immediately told me that they wanted to receive me if I accepted and if I could combine with faculty. I hesitated a lot there, I still have good grades and another year of study, I don't know how to achieve everything, I can say that I started to get annoyed for a short time (because I was expecting a part time job - it's practice after all), then I told myself "Milica, everything happens for the greatest good, then just comply with the decision." And yes, I sent a message to reject them, college is still in the first place, and I would give up full-time. And then? I get an email that they have thought about me many times, that they like me, that they want me in the team and that if I want, I can work part-time, with the possibility to correct working hours with the faculty as it suits me! That's what people do vibration! Now when I see how they reject law graduates with experience, they just explain to me that they felt that something in me, that desire to work, that energy. People, try it, even when it doesn't seem like it can on the first ball! Today I work with phenomenal people, whom I already adore.

I'm sorry All human beings have feelings. Some people express them freely, while others do not seem to attach any importance to them, and mostly act cold, distant and reserved. It is a great misconception that feelings are present all the time, in every moment of our lives. I'm sorry you don't want to humiliate yourself and say it. Even when it comes to your loved ones. What is so difficult about saying this word? Misunderstandings happen. Someone says something he shouldn't and insults the interlocutor. If you are that interlocutor, you know the reasons why you should not be offended. But still, sometimes you feel that your soul needs that healing word: sorry. So we would gladly accept an apology just to hear it. But the person who insulted you does not feel the need to apologize. The word sorry can really have a healing effect, it can emotionally heal a person who has been wronged. This is not about an apology that was said "for the sake of order" and only because that is how it should be. By the very act of apology, the person who gave it expresses respect for the other as well as empathy for the feelings that were caused. I apologized For a bad mood, Reluctance, Shame, Maturity, I apologized Countless times, For your character, Temperament, Long language. I apologized For your own freedom, Decisions, Intentions, Expressing views. I apologized Too many times everyone ... Don't apologize for having your own point of view and your own beliefs. Do not apologize for expressing your own emotions and do not hide them. Don't apologize for believing the wrong people in the past, because it was a painful but necessary lesson. Don’t apologize for your curiosity because curiosity is the foundation of learning. Apologizing is not always easy, but if you feel you should apologize to someone, do it right, otherwise you will not achieve anything, and you can even make the situation worse. You already know what it looks like, it must have happened to you that someone apologizes to you, but that your apology sounds insincere, incomplete or supported by a bunch of excuses.

Respect yourself... It would be best if we could avoid people who are considered difficult. Unfortunately, in most situations this is impossible. We are forced to communicate or cooperate with them, at school, at college, at work, at home, in the neighborhood. Difficult people have communication styles that are aimed at manipulating and creating the experience of inequality in a relationship. If we met their expectations, we would "get caught" and play a communication game that they dictate and that they practiced well. The consequence will be that we will feel humiliated, frustrated ... which is their goal and form of domination. It is enough to find yourself in a traffic jam or in a queue at the post office and bank during the day to realize that there are arrogant, rude and rude people all around us… The problem is when we realize that we are surrounded by the same people and say at work, where we should spend at least eight hours every day. We cannot change other people's behavior, but we can change our approach to such people. When someone annoys you, the first instinct is to respond with the same measure. But remember, you always have control over yourself! Choose not to enter the drama. No matter how the other person acts, you control your behavior, just as she controls her own. Stay cool, take a deep breath and give yourself room to calm down. Remember, you don't have to go down to their level, it will probably only make things worse. People sometimes behave rudely and rudely in order to show dominance and power or to provoke some reaction from you. Don’t give them that pleasure to see you get angry. Because you are a good role model and treat everyone honestly, kindly and compassionately, you show the kind of behavior you expect from those around you. When all else fails, keep in mind that sometimes it’s best to just walk away… If you’ve done everything possible to make a person aware of their actions and have tried to show kindness and empathy, that person may be incapable of treating you kindly. You have freedom of choice at all times ... You have the right to say NO at all times ... You have choice at all times. Then why do you agree to compromises? When you allow others to belittle you, disrespect you, lie, manipulate you, do not blame other people ..... In fact, you allowed them to do so. If you believe that you don't deserve better and that you have no choice, you will never get better ... Out of fear you will allow your boss to harass you, you will allow business partners to manipulate you, you will allow your spouse to lie to you ... People treat you as you allow them to. Never allow anyone to treat you with disrespect.
