Grace of all
Thank God for Jesus who has taken away every hindrance as to the ministry of the choir being for the Levite’s family alone; He tore the veil and now, we all have access to doing service for God in His vineyard.
What a privilege God has given to us to climb His Altar and sing for Him. The ministry of singing and instrumentation in the church is no more by appointment alone but it is free to as many that have received Him who are willing to work for Him. These ones, He gives power to become His children and He prepares them for the work. The bible puts it this way.
But as many as received Him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God. Even to them that believe on His name. John. 1:12.
If you have truly received Him, if you have surrendered yourself in totality unto Him, then you have the power to sing for Him, I mean to become a chorister. And if you are already a member of the choir and you have truly surrendered to Him then, you are truly a chorister indeed. But always remember that the grace of God which He has lavished on us is not to be wasted. That we all have access to His Altar doesn’t mean that sanctity or purity is a thing of the past. Purity remains a moral standard for all true children of God. Apostle Paul is asking us a question:
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound. 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin live any linger there in? Rom. 6:1-2.
Ask yourself this question, am I going to continue in sin that grace may abound? Let me shout it loud again “A CALL TO SERVE IN GOD’S VINEYARD IS A SACREO CALL”
