Is It Time To Say Goodbye?

I don't know if this article is a farewell message as I don't want to leave the platform that has been a part of my daily routine for more than 8 months now, or maybe this is just an article where I would voice out my frustrations and rants about this certain platform. What I know is that I love the site so much that even if it hates me, I will never leave my account there and keep on visiting it to interact with some of my virtual friends and the whole Bitcoin Cash community.

**Noise.cash** is a micro-blogging platform powered by Bitcoin cash that was launched last **December 24, 2020**, at around 6-7 in the evening, just in time as a Christmas gift to all of the read.cash users and Bitcoin Cash supporters. I am honored to be one of the first users to sign up on the platform that the moment I saw the advertisement banner of it on read.cash, without any hesitation, I signed up immediately. Being a pioneer on the platform, I feel a little special, especially that I am also one of the users who have onboarded other users to use it and be aware of the existence of Bitcoin Cash by promoting noise.cash and read.cash through my vlogs on YouTube and Facebook stories, and even by distributing leaflets to random people. I lost count of how many have I invited to join on the platform already through my vlogs and FB stories, but I know that some of them are still active on the site. I have invited some of my real-life friends there too and even random people who got to watch my YouTube videos like @CrazyRichFilipina .

Read.cash is my first love as this was the platform that first introduced Bitcoin Cash into my life but **noise.cash has a special place in my heart**. In my almost 9 months of stay in the platform, I am delighted to share that I also have accumulated a good amount of Bitcoin Cash from it just by posting random thoughts, silly selfies, and just random stuff that I felt like worth posting and sharing to other users. Because of that platform too, I was showered with a generous upvote from no other than Mr. Marc de Mesel himself worth **$100** of BCH through the article I wrote before which is **The Ugly Side of Noise.Cash: My Observations****.** https://read.cash/@Eirolfeam2/the-ugly-side-of-noisecash-my-observations-0c56515d But more than the Bitcoin Cash I have earned from the site, it's the bond that was formed between other users that I cherish the most. Through the platform, I got to learn and know more about some of the read.cash users I look up to, and I even got to meet other noise.cash users who come not just from the Philippines, but also from other parts of the globe. In the last 8 months of being active on noise.cash, I have experienced ups and downs too just like the volatility of the crypto market. I have shared almost all of my daily happenings there, from the first day I signed up until today. Because of the platform, I also met someone who had made my heart flutter and gave butterflies in my stomach even for just a short period. (You probably know him. Now, he's just a ghost. Lol But I will keep waiting until he comes back, or maybe he's just waiting for me too. Ah. Bahala ka jan. naisingit pa eh. Lols! 🤣) I will also not forget the moment where **my humanity was tested** by another random noise.cash user. It was an experience and a lesson that I will always remember. And because of that, I am also grateful to some of the users who came to my defense or somehow have stood by my side during my downfall. I've felt that I actually have a real family in this side of the virtual/crypto world. I know I am one of the users who have said before that we should treat noise.cash the way we use other social media apps like Facebook and Twitter so that we don't get frustrated when we don't earn a decent amount from it. But I don't want to sound a hypocrite now and I need to admit that it's saddening when you see your posts not getting any value. I feel worthless whenever I see my posts in that kind of situation while others are receiving huge tips from the site. It's been more than a month where I am no longer receiving generous tips from my posts and most of them gets nothing. Perhaps, my posts are no longer tip-worthy or my account was spammed.

After **17 days** of continuously posting on the site, from September 1 until today, I have earned **0.025 BCH** or about **$16**. I remember those good old days where I could earn this amount in just a single day. I'm not complaining. I'm actually still grateful that I got to earn this amount. I just can't help but miss those days where my daily noise.cash earnings are bigger than a minimum wage. Noise.cash has been a huge help to me in achieving my Bitcoin Cash goals but seeing this state of my account is somehow demotivating. To be honest, I have thought of creating a new account too but since it will most likely be spammed, I'm still hesitant. I'm not the kind of person who easily back down and give up. I'm a very determined person and goal-driven that no matter how challenging it seems, I will choose to keep moving forward. Perhaps, this is just another test again, a test of my loyalty to the platform. And because noise.cash has a special place in my heart, I'd rather continue posting on that platform than to use other social media apps out there. Noise.cash has been a blessing not just to me but to a lot of people, so no matter what happens, I will never leave the site. Maybe, just like the person I'm waiting for (lol), I just need to be patient until my account goes back to how it used to be. So just like what I've said before, I will keep using noise.cash and have fun with it. **Great things are yet to come.**
