Don't be a Rape a Rape apologist
Learn to respect the Woman body and the essence of No.
NO MEANS NO
Rape is the only offence that is not and can never be justified.
I'm gonna keep it 100 with you: I don't know what to tell my niece and nephews when they are old enough to date. Because I really want them NEVER to be in a situation where they feel like they have to say "yes" because they just feel so much pressure or because they don't feel like they can say "no". Because I don't want them to be in a situation where it's unclear whether "no" is "yes" or not, and where the guy just keeps going because he doesn't care about his partner's feelings or consent.
"No" means NO. I don't understand how any guy could say that he's never heard that before. Are you seriously that dense? If you can't wrap your mind around the fact that NO means NO, you have serious issues and probably shouldn't be dating.
Not even it a time where we have ladies that are ever ready for a hookup for money. It is offensive because there are women who are raped by their partners and they have to keep mute. Also, rape is not the only form of sexual abuse, the most common would be the theft of one's virginity, which is not often regarded as a crime in the present world.
You've exploited the essence of NO and taken away a woman's right to ownership of her body. You have disregarded the feelings and emotion of a lady from the day one you start touching her without a greenlight.
And you wold be called out for what you are.
The victims are sometimes young.
It's sad that we still have cases of rape.
For you to rape me, for you to take advantage of her without proper agreement. The truth is we don't teach men that no means no just like we don't remind them that there is no fucking excuse for rape.
A man willing to hurt a woman isn't a man at all; he is a coward. He has no respect not only for himself but also for women and his fellow man. I am tired of living in a world where this keeps happening over and over and the worst part is that the victim gets blamed.
Rapist get power over others and it has been going on far too long and we have to have a zero tolerance approach to it and cover it up and say it's okay.
Last year, while I was looking for a direction in my life, I went to an event with the intention of starting a business with a friend.
Then we met a guy, I quickly realized that he had been accused of rape by multiple ladies in the society.
The fact that he was still allowed to be around young women despite knowing and allegedly not doing anything about it made me incredibly uncomfortable. I decided to leave instead of proceeding with the plans. A few months later he contacted me, asking if we could start a business together, I told him no and not to contact me again for any reason.
A month later, a young lady was raped by the same guy and stayed quiet about her assault for 4 months. Due to emotional instability, she decided to speak up recently. But tobmy greatest surprise, this guy was justified by people who as well know he is a predator and should not be given the opportunity to be around other innocent young women who are trying to seek opportunities for livelihood.
Your story struck my conscience and was full of emotions. These word I felt were coming from deep inside. I admire your writing and want to tell you, you did great
