The Blind Bat
270622
Kids play hide and seek all the time. They know that being found means losing the game. But what if there was a twist to the game, where one of the players couldn't see? Children will love guessing which of their friends is the blind bat, while being cheered on by the other players.
One day bat was flying through the jungle when he saw a man. Bat asked, "Who are you?" The man replied, "I'm a dentist." Bat said 'I don't like you! You hurt me whenever you check my teeth with your instruments. I will never go to you."
The dentist was surprised that bat didn't like him but he smiled and said, "I have a good idea. If you go with me to my home, I'll open my mouth and show you that I have no teeth." Bat agreed and followed the dentist back to his house. There, the dentist opened his mouth and there were no teeth inside! Looking closely, bat found some small pits in the gums. "What are these?" bat asked the dentist kindly. The dentist explained, "They are where my teeth were."They were friends from then on.
One day bat was blinded by a group of boys and girls. But bat did not accept the fact that he was blind. Bat walked and walked but he could not see anything. The days passed by but bat was still blind. No one picked him up or played with him. He was all alone.
But then one day bat met an old man who taught him how to listen and feel to everything around him.
The old man told bat that if he wants to see then he must feel the tree, road, floor, and birds.
Then tango came across a little bird on the ground.
It was lying on its back. The bird was not moving or making a sound. Bat slowly came closer so that he could touch the bird but before that, he heard a faint sound "help me, help me." Then bat gently turned the bird over; all of a sudden the bird flew away, followed by a huge flock of birds.
As bat felt happy, the old man sat beside him and said "You have given so much happiness to others now you must go out in the world and give many more."
"The world is waiting for you; it is waiting for you to see it, to understand it and also to listen to it.""I will be there with you.""The world is yours now," said the old man.
The blind bat, which is a couple of inches long, is one of the European cave bat species. It is also called the greater mouse-eared bat. The bat has a large gold nose used for detecting prey and obstacles. The eyes are almost absent, but there are three small openings on either side of the nose that serve as ears.
In addition to the large ears, they have a long tongue used for catching insects.
They live in colonies of up to 200 bats in caves in southern Europe. These bats hibernate from autumn to spring in layers of about 20-50 individuals, which are separated by layers of drying urine and feces. The female gives birth to a single baby in June or July.
The blind bats emerge at dusk to hunt for small insects such as moths and flies. They can fly very fast and far, in pursuit of prey or for migration purposes.
The populations of these bats grew slightly in the last century due to the efforts of ornithologists and conservationists that began protecting their habitats from vandalism and other external threats.
The blind bat is a perfect example of what I want to achieve.
In this case I created a script with voice over that explains the concept of the app and shows how it works. (I also started working on an animation)
The blind bat is used to test if the spaces are really accessible for people with disabilities. It uses a planchette to move around the space and if there's something or somebody in its way then the app will make a noise to let you know. You can also use your phone's camera as well to record.
I'm so much excited to test this app with my co-workers and see their reactions.
I plan to add more functions such as guidelines and advice but this is a good base idea to start with.
Let The Sleeping Dog Lie

Let me tell you a story about a time in my life when I used to be a little punk. I was at my aunts house and I was looking around to see what she was eating. She had so many colorful snacks. The sunflower seeds, the sour patch kids, those weird squishy chewy gummies, those weird rice crispy things, the juicy fruit rollups, the chips ahoy. I was standing there thinking to myself, boy there sure are a lot of tasty snacks but when I finally asked if i could have one she told me no. It wasn't until later that day when she started yelling at me and pulled me aside. She told me that if i were to eat all of those snacks, then my dog would start acting funny and maybe even die. She told me that she keeps these snacks hidden around the house because she doesn't want her dog to eat them. She said: "you don't want your dog to get sick do you?" And I said: "no", so she said, "then leave him alone".
Even though you thought your business was up and running, it's so easy to let it go dormant, even if you have made quite some sales.
This is a sad but common phenomenon among business owners which should be avoided if you want your company to be profitable and successful.
You should have a schedule in place and have given yourself time to check in on the business. But if you don't have time, it's dangerous to assume that the business is fine and under control.
A good example of this is an old and famous saying: "Let the sleeping dog lie." The saying refers to taking care of things as they come up. In other words, take care of issues or problems as soon as possible, instead of letting them grow over time.
If you are not there to look over your business every day and make sure everything is just fine, there's a fair chance that your business is suffering from some problems which might seem small at first but can quickly reach a size which will require you to put in tonnes of work before achieving any positive results.
Be sure to check in on your business regularly and stay aware of all future plans for your company or brand. On that note, don't forget to include at least one day every week for your business activities.
My dog is so natural and easy going. When I want to take a picture of her she doesn't move an inch. I could take a million pictures of her and she would never get impatient or annoyed with me. However that is not the case when my baby niece plays with her, she's always so lively and playful. If my baby niece even try to pet her, she'd get all excited and restless, wanting to play. She's very much like a cat, people can pet her all day long, but she still won't love it! Somehow she knows who's her owner and who's not.
The dog is sleeping and the baby girl tried to wake her up by pulling on her ear...
The baby cried after the dog ignored her. Apparently, the dog was too busy sleeping that she didn't even notice someone tugging at her ear.
For example, I recently read a story in the news about a woman who was attacked by a Rottweiler. She was actually bitten by the dog and she sustained injuries as a result. And she's also heard that the dog's owners were going to euthanize the dog because they felt it was too dangerous to keep around.
In response to this story I created our latest app, "Let The Sleeping Dog Lie". It's an app that you can use to create stories of your own while interacting with friends and family. So when you read a news story that touches your heart or just makes you smile, you can create your own story to share with others.
It features 6 different templates for creating stories, and several additional templates are planned for future releases. Friends can respond to your stories with their own stories. Stories can be shared through Facebook and Twitter.
While creating these stories you will be tapping on the screen to interact with different elements. In the beginning these elements will be quite simple, but eventually we'll introduce a challenge mode that will really test your creativity and interaction skills. And we expect to release additional social media challenges as well!
Even though we're still in beta and there are still more features planned for future releases, we'd like to invite you to download Let The Sleeping Dog Lie now and start creating your own unique stories in this familiar yet innovative format.
Blood in the City

The time of reckoning is here, people everywhere are no longer keeping silent to the injustices happening in our country.
We live in a world where the lives of human beings are not held in high regard; where each day humans are taken out at the hands of cowards, who shouldn't even call themselves human. But we don't only see that here in Nigeria, we see it in other parts of the world too, like Palestine and Syria. All over the world we see children being killed, women being raped, houses and property being burnt to ashes. We see innocents killed, and it's just like nothing to anyone – their lives don't matter. As I'm writing this I'm realizing how sad I am that we have come to this point.
The time for silence is over, the time for change is now. It's time for us to rise up and speak up so that there will be a change in this generation and generations to come.
As a young boy, I took the time to visit many countries in the world. During my trips, I always saw how the rich people lived. They have the best of everything. They were so happy and they loved to share. I even had an opportunity to walk around in their backyards and I witnessed how they treated their animals. Even though some of these rich men were old and had lost their thinking capacity, they still made sure that their animals were happy and had food to eat. There was one particular man from a rich family that had a large fenced compound. He used to have so many fishes in his pond. He also had an elephant in his compound with an equally large compound for it to walk around; that was where he also kept his little hut for him to sleep whenever he felt like it.
I walked around and discovered that the rich men never thought of building another compound for their pets instead they preferred to keep building more and more rooms inside their own house instead of adding a new building for their pets; this was because they were too old and weak to take care of two places instead of one. This is how our land was once upon a time, it was very rich, very beautiful and our people were so smart that they never failed to leave behind a heritage or inheritance for the unborn future but today, we see poverty all over the land.
As we all know, thousands of people gathered at the Mashambas social night club in Eldoret town center on Sunday evening 2nd December 2016. The night started off with a hour long singer preparation and then they danced to their hearts’ content. In the middle of it all, there was a sudden commotion. A group of heartless souls armed with machetes entered the social club and started chasing innocent people with the aim of murdering them. The security guards who were already on duty tried their best to save lives but were overpowered by the intruders, who were about 8 people. They successfully stabbed about 20 people and shot 3 others. The ones that could not escape fast enough suffered deep gashes from machetes.
Having been given the mandate from above, we are using our platform to ask President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto to probe this brutal act of violence and bring forth justice for the families of the deceased. We should all be reminded that it is our common responsibility as human beings to watch out for each other’s lives. What happened at Mashambas night club is as a result of our leaders’ busy schedules and quick moves to foreign lands while we, as citizens remain insecure at home.
For the past few weeks, South Africa has been gripped by a brutal wave of barbaric farm attacks. A few days ago, the situation reached boiling point when South Africans woke up to the news that yet another elderly person had been brutally murdered on a farm in the hills south-west of Pretoria
What makes this particular event so tragic and untenable is that Mr Grobler was a well-known musician in the Afrikaans music industry and had no intention of retiring from his profession.
Lament is an understatement. It is heart wrenching that one of our own is brutally slaughtered at the hands of an unbridled and lecherous couple who were clearly out for blood.
We cannot continue to stand idle or allow this trend to flourish among the farming community, which represents a significant portion of the population.
It is not enough to listen to government's hollow promises, because in a matter of months, another attack will occur and we will be right back where we started.
The country needs more than just a few moments of silence, we need action across all sectors in all provinces – to ensure that our people are safe and protected.

I think we all agree that the world's economy and infrastructure is in a dire need of restructuring and we need a leader with a vision. A leader that understands and can look at the big picture . The world is closing in on itself, whether it's war, racial divide, debt, or political corruption, and the list goes on. I must say I was disappointed with last years Oscar awards. It wasn't necessarily the host's fault that it was a "white Oscars", but I think it proves a point of how this country is being led. Look at the first three slots for Best Actress. All White. No diversity despite what race or gender. Hollywood may not be directly related to the worlds economy, but it certainly affects the mindsets of people both young and old around the globe.

A beautiful friend once told me 'do not worry about our people, we will always find a way'. That was a nice story and although we are grateful for it, what I think is: 'Let's do it ourselves '. I would like to be part of that 'let's' and look forward to changing the world with you.

For 5 years, I managed a business in Paris. I worked 9 to 6. I got home at 7pm. Inevitably, my children were in bed before me. One day, my boss called me into his office: "I will be frank with you. You are doing well. But you need to work more. It's the only way for your business to grow."
It was a blow to me. A smack in the face. I felt like he was telling me that I had no other option than to give up my life. I decided to do something better: At the end of the year, I left this job and started my own fashion brand EhmDee , that gives back to the community through sustainable shopping and recycling practices.

Maria cursed and cursed, silently in her mind . She knew her predication where true. She immediately walked away from the living room and to the room she did as instructed and awaited his arrival .In his absence she look around in dismay and hopelessness . She stood up and walked again to the mirror to check her bruised body, she stayed for a while before noticing something strange in the mirror ,she saw a pistol. She immediately turn to look and it was true. It was a pistol lying right under the bed . Maria wondered why she hasn't been seeing it, she quickly picked it and skimmed to the structure she slowly rose aimlessly. Almost immediately she heard footsteps approaching . Maria didn't and never wanted this to happen but it is happening . After all, it is his fate she thought, she made up her mind she will end the misery in her life. Then, he pushed the door slowly as if he knew someone was going to shoot at him. Finally he opened the door and entered, his grinning face suddenly turns submitted his loneliness that Maria didn't let his face scare her she aimed at him with a shaky hands she was determined to pull the trigger no matter what . She started with the smile "I don't even know what name to call you because I cannot call you ,my dad. " "Please maria.......I'm sorry "he pleaded with fake and real fear". If someone told me you met me at the end ,I won't believe". "What do you mean, at the end?", He cut her short with the question. Maria again smiled "this is of course the end for you because I'm pulling the trigger at you and I'm ending you as a misfortune in my life.
" Look Mary I can let you walk away right now but please don't kill me", he pleaded with trembling tone he had never used. "No I'm killing you ,so that you no longer make me of uncomfortable I will leave in peace of mind . "Noo noo please!!, He screamed as Maria pulled the trigger. Boom!! that was the dream Maria was always having the peace of mind she thought has never gotten was just an imagination. Each time she talks about the scene of her father was she would leave she felt she did wrong for killing her father and simultaneously feel right for ending the hell in her life. After another months in Paris she had a friend we should use that to a council . She did they use the same for my head but her father's face never left her head.

One Cut Too Deep
010622
Dear Reader,
ONE CUT, TOO DEEP is a phrase brought by an ill situation I had and has since been causing an emotional trauma. 😔😔😔 And the story of Maria Jones in this right up is a friction and not to be taken serious.
Maria hated the fact that she always had the incident. She had been in Paris for a month and some days now, she left Nigeria to exercise the painful memories from her mind. She had had them on her mind for roughly a year now.
A year ago, Maria Jones took her backpack and got set for leaving for school, she walked to the mirror and stared at her dispirited face. She was disparaged by her look, she never looked any better. Walking into the living room, she met her dad. Maria faked a smile and readjusted her bag. "I'm set for school" she managed to say.
Maria's father Mr. Ola Jones cleared his throat loudly, he stood up and walked towards her. He held her jaw and tried to raise her head, Maria held her head still; "What's wrong" he said in his thick, unclear baritone voice. "smile my girl".he muttered.
Maria shrugged she knew what she was up against and raised her head reluctantly. He smiled devilish. Maria wanted to run, she needed to leave urgently but he pulled her by the waist 'It is too early to start this' she thought. "I have to leave now" she said out of displeasure. She took his hands off her waist and gently took a step away and another step then the next and other.
Mr Ola Jones watched her leave grinning with unsatisfied smile. The rate at which Maria's heart beats at the moment had drastically changed to a higher one.
Surprisingly, he turned away and retired back to his chair. Maria saw the opportunity as a chance to run. She hurried to the door and turned the door knob only to realize the door has been locked. Without doubt Maria knew her exit was not guaranteed as he door had been bolted. Maria without much thought went on her knees and put her both palms together pleading. "I'm very sorry sir", she voice wavered with fear. She rubbed her palm vigorously, that wasn't the first time he would do such.
Her dad laughed, rapidly at first then it turned hysterically. She suddenly started crying, he stood up and smiled, his grin as wide as his cruel personality.
"I thought you wanted to run...to school" he chuckled. "Why have you stopped?" he abruptly ended chuckling and turned it into a laughter. "You dare to make my hands off the place I have placed them" he roared in relatively high tone. Each word he said increased Maria's heartbeat by two.

A Visit To The Beach
290522
The day I would never forget was on the 20th April,2011. My parents took us out to lekki Beach and it was my first time on a picnic. My dad had been promising to take us out on a picnic but could not keep his promise until that day
The day was bright even as early as 7am. My mum did some preparations on Friday evening and continued on Saturday morning . She got our clothes ready , cooked our delicious fried rice and prepared our mouth watering chicken in Saturday morning.
We left the house at exactly 11am. My dad drove us all in his car. My brother and sister, aged eight and six respectively and I were very excited. My brother and I wore our latest baggy trousers and polo shirt my dad bought for us during the previous Christmas season, while my sister wore a simple gown. It took us about one hour from our house in Bariga to the beach which is on the outskirt of Lagos Island.
We finally got to lekki Beach after what seemed like ages . The environment was serene . There were many picnicker already there even though we were early. The beach was a colourful with different colours of tents and beach were worn by picnicker. Dad chose a good quiet spot for us , far away from distraction from other picnicker where I found out that my friend was also on the beach. We had a great time together playing around the beach before my mum called us to eat. We sat down comfortably and cooled down with mum's home-made juice. We later ate delicious well garnished fried rice while watching the roaring, frightening ocean . My friend persuaded me to accompany him to the ocean and swim but I refused reminding him that dangerous sea creatures roamed the ocean but he refused telling me that I was a weakling and scared and then he left.
I wated him swim in the ocean when I saw something like that of a sharks fin moving towards him, I tried to warn him but it was too late the shark attacked him ferociously the ocean water was stained with blood, the other people swimming scampered to safety . Later the news was heard that a young boy was killed by a shark and no traces of his body. This event left me traumatized, I have been living with the guilt that if only I had reported him to his parent they would have stopped him but I didn't. Now I have left his parent childless with pain and agony in their heart and for this reason I have vowed not to ever set my feet in any beach because the ocean remind me of the tragedy that occured eleven years ago.

Ironic Life
270522
This morning I woke up with this weird feeling in my stomach. I felt like something wasn't right. I checked the news to see if anything was going on near my area, but nothing caught my eye. I like to think that 9/11 was a blessing in disguise, so I decided to check it out and see how my fellow New Yorkers were affected by it. Nothing really happened with the attacks, but one thing did catch my eye: people were happier than usual.
Imagine getting fired from your job and having it be Thank-ful!
That's what happened to one of our customers, Danielle. Danielle used to work at a daycare and was recently fired from her job.
According to her, one day she was letting the kids run around and when she was organizing them, they didn't sit still. She snapped at them but quickly apologized to them.
After a week, she was called into her boss office and she was told that she is fired. She asked for a reason and her boss said, "I can't deal with you anymore."
Danielle was shocked and couldn't understand why she would be fired for something as simple as snapping at kids who won't sit still.
The same day, Danielle had been promising herself that after pay day, she would go out shopping for new work clothes. With the money from being fired from her job, she was able to buy two new outfits!
Shop is releasing a new feature called "EhmDee Stories". We wanted to share this story because we believe that EhmDee can be used in real life situations.
Hashtagging the most ironic things in your life seems to be a big thing on social media these days. Here are some of the most memorable ones: - When your dad says u can have ice cream but then u have to pick up groceries #ironic - Rain makes your hair curly, the sun will dry it out and frizz it up, which is ironic because you paid hundreds for the curls #irony - Your mom just got a new iPhone 6, or maybe even a 6 plus. This is ironic because you just spent all your money on textbooks #irony
- The first two members of your family to get iPhones now have to buy cases for them.
A woman just gave me her plate coz she doesn't want to take it home. So I get her rice coz she's almost finish. And I thought to myself: "What a very ironic life".
The good news has gone down the drain with no money in return. The guy who just bought my phone, after he gave me money, I asked him if he can buy my phone too. Because, I have no use of it anymore. It's kinda sad that I'm not able to use that money to buy a new phone and have fun with it.

Children Oh Children

Children and blessings to humanity. Children are God's blessings and the future of our world. They are the light that brightens up our lives, are pure and beautiful.
This is a post for the children in my life, my family. I love and miss you guys so much. That's why I made this post to share some of your pictures. I pray that you are safe and always in my heart so much love to you guys.
I have parents who are both well established in their careers; a little background about my parents. My mother is CEO of one of the largest private companies in Africa, while my father is a diplomat, and the founder of one of the most influential NGOs in Africa. I was born with a silver spoon hence why everything came so easily to me. I grew up in a place where everyone did whatever they pleased and never listened to anyone. My favourite part of growing up was attending school because it was where I interacted with other young people and it was there that I learned how to get along with them. I had hundreds of friends, but there were two who I bonded with. Our friendship ran deeper than just being friends; we were almost family. My other best friend, Takunya, was also the daughter of a diplomat and she was raised by her grandparents. They lived in an old-world city-state that had long been around when the British colonized Africa. Her grandparents' house was surrounded by farms, making it seem like we were worlds apart from our parents and their lives.
Children is blessings to humanity. They need proper education to grow up in harmony with their environment. They need a beautiful world to live in. This is a children story, warm, inspirational and touching. Please give your children what they deserve , a chance., it's not too late!
Chloe is the youngest of the Kimbrough family. She was born with a rare disease that made her have a hard time playing like other kids did but she never allowed herself to be discouraged. She always kept on doing her best because she knew she was going to do great things., she knew she would be famous and successful, so she kept studying, working hard in school and volunteering at her church activities and helping with disabled people like her mom. Now she is a 20 years old beautiful young lady who graduated from college last year with honors, who has a job at a well reputed IT company , who has outstanding charity projects everywhere. Her smile is always contagious because it can light up any dark place, because it has a strong influence on all people around you, because it reveals her kindness and sweetness , because it can change your day for better.

I love children. I so much love to put smiles on people's faces, kids more so. I want to give them nothing but the best.
It's an honor that God has created me to be a Father. I AM A FATHER.
It was more than 10 years ago, before these chosen children came into the world, that I made a decision in the early stages of my career to save two (2) months of my income every month to build up a nest egg for their college education. That was just enough for one semester as I hoped that by the time college came, at least one or both would have scholarships so I could use this money for something else.
It was not long before the first child came into my life that I realized that saving for college was not going to be enough for this special child. I did not know how special he was going to be but, thank God, he is! I started saving more and more, but still not enough for all the expenses ahead. So I decided to start thinking about extra income that can help my family pay for these special needs.
I started sharing what I know about computers with others and soon discovered there is a market for this product, and it proved right. The little company is growing and that means lots of need for adult help. So it was then and there that I decided to make a difference in my family's life by adding another product line to provide extra income so we could meet the needs of our special children.

Two of my kids actually. We have two adorable daughters. My daughters especially love pets. We make it a point to go pet shopping every now and then just to look for a pet that we can take home. My middle daughter has been begging for a dog for about a year now. We've been hesitant because we've had pets in the past and found them to be an inconvenience most of the time.
But then, we got a new home, and now, we're ready to take the plunge and welcome a pet into our home. We are so excited!
Pets are very special. They bring so much love, joy and laughs to our lives that they are more than just our best friends. You will know it when you have one.
Submitting your pet pictures or videos to us is a great way of telling them how much you love them. EhmDee's Picture Submission program offers a unique opportunity for pet owners to share their pet pictures or videos with us!
I believe that pets are more than just animals, they are gret companions. They care for you, protect you, and make your life better. But sometimes there's a pet that needs a little help from someone else. If you love dogs and cats, but can't have one of your own, we're here to help you enjoy the next best thing: reading about them!
We're most focused on the dog section of our website. We've got several dogs that live in our house and we care for them a lot. We love taking them on walks and playing ball with them. They're all very sweet, friendly dogs. We also have several awesome cat friends we hang out with on a regular basis.
Our pets are part of our family and they bring so much love and joy. They're also great listeners.
With just a bit of creativity, you can turn your photos with your pet into a great story for your friends and family to see. Check out our tips for using photo stories on EhmDee.
Gold or Painted Stone

You'll find gifts that delight, inspire and most importantly—won't break the bank.
Indulge your loved ones with a gift that's truly unique this year.
A woman from New York City recently had a heck of a time breaking up with a guy.
When she decided that she was ready to move on, the woman, who was identified only by her first name, Tiffany, used a popular app to tell her beau that the the two were over.
Full disclosure: the breakup was *way* too late.
Tiffany and her ex both knew that the relationship had long been over but they were delaying the inevitable for whatever reason.

Glittering Gold is a video series produced by EhmDee Media. On this set, we showcase creative entrepreneurs in fashion and beauty. Through our collabs with brands like Shopify, we have the opportunity to highlight Black-owned businesses who are using digital media to market their talented products. We aim to support Black businesses and shine light on those who are making a difference in the industry.
A smiling face, a dancing heart, a crying eye, all carved with such attention to detail. A gift so unique and sure to be treasured. EhmDee creates little cuties that are magical!
The painted stones are hand-carved and painted in a style that is 3D. They are made of a high quality polymer clay called Sculpey. The details in the faces are drawn with a fine point Sharpie Ink Pen.
We make the only kind to be found on this planet!
In addition to being entirely handcrafted, each piece is hand-painted. The artists use an airbrush to apply several layers of paint for depth and detail. Then the piece is fired for several hours to set it permanently in place. Some pieces have multiple coats of paint for extra depth and detail.
A precious metal with a yellow color and luster traditionally considered to be imperishable, malleable, ductile, rare, and indispensable to the conduct of business.
In the same way that gold has been used for centuries to certify the authenticity of a product, stories are now being used to certify the authenticity of your brand.
The YouTube channel EhmDee is the first of its kind where you can witness a series of short films that bring to life inspiring stories from people who are disrupting their own industries.
Painted stones are a fun way to add a little bit of art to your life. They're also a great way to decorate your house or a gift for a friend. Painted stones are made from real rocks, which means they're weather resistant, so long as you don't leave them outside. They come in many different colors and sizes, and can be customized to fit your exact needs and desires.
I started EhmDee to offer an outlet for the creative side of life that's so often neglected. I've fallen in love with each stone I've painted and handpicked. Whether you're looking for a specific stone or just browsing, I hope you enjoy my shop and find something you'll love!

Experience is the best teacher
190522
Experience is the best teacher, this I believe and this is what I have learned from being in business for a few years now. The first year of starting my business was a roller coaster ride, but with every experience comes a lesson. One of the most important lessons I have learnt over the past few years was the importance of my brand image.
I am always looking for a reason to learn something new. When I make decisions, I don't base them on what will be popular, or what has the best chance for success. I base them on what is interesting, and what I can learn from it.
The biggest thing I have learned, however, is that you shouldn't choose to learn out of fear. Don't learn because you don't want to look dumb, or afraid. Choose something you are passionate about, and give yourself time and space to explore it in depth.
I have had so many experiences that have pushed me outside my comfort zone. And the best part is that there is always room to grow. It is awesome to see the progress of your learning curve reflect in your work, or in your current skill set.
If there is something new you want to try, just do it. Don't be afraid. Let your experience be your teacher. Experience is the best teacher. Everyone who has been in the teaching business will tell you that they have made some mistakes in the classroom, which is true. The mistakes can be related to the subject, to the class itself, to the kids and their background and culture but what matters the most is that we learn from them.
Experience is a resource of knowledge, what will lead to success or failure.
Starting my journey to entrepreneurship was not easy, I was an ordinary girl that was going to do her best in life.
After years of studying, working and trying to get the best out of my life, I realize that the best way to be happy is take a step and make something out of your life.
And so I did, I invest in myself and for once, I started to be true with myself and follow my dreams, until one day I learned that being an entrepreneur is not all about making money or getting rich, but it's all about learning and never stop learning.
I believe success comes with hard work, passion, courage and perseverance.
I gave it my all and learned from my failures along the way.
I love what I do and that makes me want to do better and always succeed.
How about your experience? Is there anything else you can add?
Whenever you feel down or lost just remember that there are ways out of the darkness, so just keep doing what your dreams pursue, learn from your mistakes and you'll get better at it along the way.
I've started my own E-commerce store that sells decorative pillows and cases. There are so many things I've learned on the way, but the most important thing is to have patience and a positive attitude. I've had so many challenges, but for me at the moment the most important thing is to have a little bit of time for my hobby.
As I was saying if you're passionate about your business you can do it. You don't need to ask anyone for help because everything you need is inside you. The most important thing is to believe in yourself.

Rivers in Desert

What would it be like if one day you were walking in the desert, find a lost thing and bring it back to people? Yes, there can be lovely rovers in desert.
One of the people who are always hunting for lost things is called Similoluwa. She has got her name because the first time she post a picture online was when she lost a doll.
Simi used to live in a small village in South Korea. One day, she found a doll on the ground near her house and thought that it was funny looking, so she took a picture of it with her smartphone. She posted it on read.cash. The next day, thousands of people came to her house asking for the doll.
Simi realized that posting pictures on the Internet could help her find some of the things that she had lost. So she started taking pictures of everything she lost. Once, she posted a picture of her lunchbox, and someone saw it and returned it to her. Another time she accidentally dropped her favorite pen at school and someone found it Android returned it to her.
The posts of EhmDee were so popular on read.cash that now many people follow her.
Rovers in Desert.
I think it is one of the most beautiful place in oman, Oman is my home and more then people know its beauty and i love it so much, we have small mountains and a lot of yellow sand we have some oasis that you can find water since there are no rain except the monsoon.
A lot of people come to Oman to find a better life.
On this particular day I was walking around with my camera looking for best location, i need a place where i can capture the beauty and light at the same time.
Rovers in desert without getting any clue about their destination and very often they get lost in the desert, this movie is about such a rover who gets lost and how he reaches his destination and how he feels when he is back at his home.
There are few things in Life that can't be done in a Car. But how can you do or go somewhere, to do something you've always wanted to do?
Well, why not going on a Desert Safari in Driving Rovers! (Don't be afraid of this, I wasn't at first.)
The Rovers are modern, however there are no the most comfortable things in the world. After one and half hours driving through the desert we finally arrived to the sand dunes. We then spent time around campfire and even though we were half dead from the heat and from joy of swimming in the Dead Sea, we had a lot of fun.
I don't know about you, but I liked it very much (I loved it actually). So I thought that all my blog friends could get amused as well and share some amazing experiences that they had during their lifetime.

Sunday Vibes

Had some amazing worshipping and it was good to see some people that I've not seen in a bit. But the best part of the day was the amazing sermon by M. Wooten ! Every sermon is always great but this one really hit home for me. It reminded me that I need to be a better person and how I can better my life as well as how I treat people.Yesterday was a bit of a stressful day and today I'm working on a Sunday evening.
This morning I was thanking my Heavenly Father for a good night's sleep, a beautiful morning and I was so amazed by the clouds in the sky this morning that I couldn't help but to be in awe. This morning I was thanking my Heavenly Father for a good night's sleep, a beautiful morning and I was so amazed by the clouds in the sky this morning that I couldn't help but to be in awe. It's one of those weeks where you have to really break through and push yourself past your limits. I have been putting in extra time at the gym and eating clean to jump start my physical health, but I really have to make sure that I keep my mental health in check too. As the old saying goes: "You can't outrun your fork" I've been implementing some new things into my daily routine like listening to podcasts while walking, meditating and trying to get myself a healthy skin care routine.
I haven't seen sunshine in a while so today it was nice seeing the sunlight beaming down as I walked outside today! On a side note I love music and I was jamming out to "Sunday Vibes" by DJ Khaled as I was walking to my car.
Today at church was a nice time with God. I'm continuing to work on being nicer to people. I'm not perfect by any means, but I'm showing more daily that I want to become a kinder person.
It isn't always easy. Sometimes I get angry and say something negative about someone or something, but when I do, I immediately try to say something positive. It is a struggle because the negative comments are usually easier to say than the positive ones.
Sunday vibes. Today at church was a nice time with God. We just gave God all the glory and then released it through the worship. Also it is great to have praise and worship in your local language. I really enjoyed this time and time to connect with myself and God. So I will be going through some of my devotions on the app 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Our dream has always been to create something that makes the world a better place and see it succeed. This was our first major step in accomplishing that goal. What started off as a fun idea turned into a way to connect with people worldwide and also educate ourselves on how to be better versions of ourselves. It's been a long road but we are finally starting to see some positive results.
I'm trying to be better. If you have any advice on how to be nicer, please let me know.
Fake Friends- no good friends, no bad ones, only those I choose to be with
140522
I like to have real friends, maybe with benefits, who can be honest, loyal and polite.
I'm tired of having fake friends, especially online, you claim to be my friend but you're not. Friends must have reasons to like you, to love you.
You pretend to be my friend, in fact you're like a wolf in sheep's clothing.
I have good character but inconsiderately you take opportunity to act silly.
You say I'm the only one who understands you and I should be your best friend.
You say you're down for me but you fail to show up. No lies, it's just a fact.
I hate fake friends, I've got 'em.
You promise me the world but you never deliver.
Fake friends, fake friends, I've got 'em.
You borrow money and never pay it back, you're so fake.
You tell me you'll be right back but you never show up, that's not cool.
I hate fake friends, I've got 'em.
You act silly with your man when I'm around and that makes me feel like we're not really friends.
You tell me that you like my new hair and the next day you say you didn't know if it was real or not.
I know your bad habit which is called hypocrisy. Yes! that's what you're doing when you see the world through rose coloured glasses, but when you see me right and clearly, then you become so cold-blooded towards me, I turn up at your house all of a sudden, but you don't want me there.
Now I'm so much tired of all these fakes who claim to be friends.

Now I'm so much tired of all these fakes who claim to be friends.
Fake friends are everywhere, people who act like your friend, but not really your friend. They pretend to be nice, but they are not. Pretends to be all up in your feelings, but doesn't really care at all. Pretends to listen to you when you talk, but they don't. They just pretend they care so they can get something from you. They want you to think that everything is okay, when it's not okay at all. Fake friends make you feel like you can trust them, but then they stab you in the back. They act like your best friend, but really all they want is for you to be their servant and do everything for them.
It's a lonely world for most of us out here, game taking over friendships, don't be a slave to a game that's made for you to fail and it's not about competition, the main problem is technology and social media have made people detached from each other.
We have to find a way to get everyone on the same page. Why are we in this together? Do people really want to hate on each other? Make them realize how fake they really are. Why is forever? Why do we need someone forever? I don't want anyone fake around me, I just want real friends. Why is it so much pressure? When you can feel the real love, the losing friends thing won't be an issue anymore. If you don't try to make things right, how will you know how bad it really is? Stop being fake and start trying to be real.
After all this is just social media and reality tv, not the real world.
The Big Fish
110522
I think I should share this with you guys, because I see a lot of people struggling with it and I would feel really good if someone gave me the best advice. I attend one of the biggest (national) conferences each year, it's basically a networking event for students to find jobs, internships, and meet recruiters. I met two big fish at the conference, that have the same job as me, one is male and one female. The male was so much better at networking than me. He was talking to everyone, connecting with people and just loved what he was doing. The female was not as dominant as the male, but still she was pretty confident. She even had a nice calm approach when it came to talking to people. She also had a huge network!
Why do I mention that in my blog? Because both of them work for my company! They are at our headquarters now, which is located in a city in Europe, not in our home country. Sometimes you just don't know who will be able to get you where you want to be. And that's the lesson: Just be yourself, connect with people, give them your best smile and they'll see what they can do to help you!Although they are both younger than me (the male is 17 and the female is 19), they took their chance and tried everything.
Throughout my life, I have always gone to great lengths to help others. Not knowing their race, religion, gender or sexual orientation, I would reach out and help everyone. When I was a teenager I would take my hard-earned money and buy bus tickets for homeless people to get back home. Today, many homeless people can find a place to lay their heads thanks to the work I have done.
We've all heard the phrase "the silver lining" of a dark cloud or situation, but in life and business sometimes it's hard to see it.
I've always been that type of person that focuses on the positive things, but of course there are always periods where I get stuck in a dark cloud because things aren't going as planned or I'm feeling down about something that happened.
The fact is, there are moments in your life when you'll be surrounded by "dark clouds". They'll be those moments when you feel like giving up. When you feel like there's nothing left to do.
What I try to do instead is focus on the positive side and find the "silver lining".
I recently had a dual citizenship process that took too long, and at one point I thought I would never be able to go back to my beloved country of Italy. I started getting depressed, but what did I do? I kept fighting for my case and eventually it was approved. In the middle of my junior year at the University of Wisconsin, I was under a tremendous amount of pressure. I was trying to juggle a rigorous course schedule, extracurricular activities, and an internship - all while being a resident assistant. I was stressed and tired, so tired that for the first time in my life, I didn't finish an assignment on time.
It was my first time getting a "C" on an assignment - clear, concise instructions that were not met. As I walked out of the classroom, dejected and embarrassed, many thoughts raced through my mind. Sleepless nights followed as I continuously asked myself:
Did I work hard enough?
Did I misread the assignment?
Why is this happening?
Do I deserve to be here?
The harsh reality was that the fault did not lie with me; it was not my fault. The professor had failed to include required elements in the assignment, which left me unprepared when I went
"I released this video December 15th, 2017. It's almost February. This song has over 9,000 views, and no one has purchased my album. When I look at my YouTube analytics I see that all 9,000 of those views are generated from the same 1 or 2 users every single day. To simplify things let's just say that there are 2 users who repeatedly watch and re-watch my video with absolutely no intention of purchasing my album.
One of the biggest problems in this business is that there are people who see music as a form of entertainment instead of a method of income. They think that if they post their music online for free then everyone will magically find it and love it, thus generating them thousands of dollars in revenue from which they can pay their rent and bills.
I love big fish. they are hard to catch but they are so big and beautiful and strong.
they will make you feel small but they can be friends too.
I made this game to honor them as well as the children, and the people who love them.
the little fish is you. you are weak, and easy to catch, you will always be the fish.
the big fish is everything else in the game. the rocks, the hills, the sky, they all want you dead.
You will have to work hard to be strong, strong enough to face your fears and the world.
The game has levels, each level will probably kill you at least a dozen times before you complete it. each time you finish a level your skill will grow and you will learn something new about yourself.
My name is "EhmDee" and I am a 10-year-old entrepreneur trying to change the world, one smile at a time. I believe that I can make a difference in the lives of others. This belief is why I am making it my goal to pay off the Wilmot Cancer Center's debt of $3.3 million dollars by 2020. I am planning to accomplish this by selling large stuffed fish to sell and donate money to cancer research.
After the loss of my father in 2013, cancer became a big part of my life, for he was diagnosed with cancer at age 23. After his death, I had lost myself and did not know what to do. This is when I started my first business with a few friends and now I have started this company and we are doing good.
My goal is to help take some burden from other families that are going through the same struggles as my family has gone through.
I hope you will join me on this journey.

The Silver Lining

Every dark cloud has a silver lining is a Music, Poersy and Creativity Company that expresses all forms of artistic expression in a very public and socially conscious way. The mission of EhmDee is to bring art to life through film, video, photography and music for social change. We aspire to be an inspiration and encouragement for creative people all over the world to use their creative gifts for meaningful change.
EhmDee is the first woman founded and operated film production company in Canada. The company was launched in 2009 by Niohelani Cypriano (founder, writer and director). Since then, EhmDee has created many short films, music videos, album covers and photography collections. The content of EhmDee has received national and international recognition with nominations and awards from various prestigious organizations.
The silver lining is an app that provides a platform for both well-known and emerging authors to share their personal stories with the world. Each story begins with a major setback—a battle with addiction, a cancer diagnosis, a childhood trauma—but then goes on to offer hope in the form of lessons learned from the experience.
People were touched by my story and inspired by how I coped with adversity. Through them in turn, I found the strength to do what I do now. This is why it's impossible for me not to give back.
I'm sure you've heard the saying "every cloud has a silver lining". But what about when the clouds are dark, and the silver lining is hard to find?
I've been struggling with depression since I was 17. I always thought that I was dealing with it well, so I didn't think it was an issue. I would hide my feelings from everyone, especially my friends, because I didn't want anyone to worry about me. There's something extremely hard about telling your friends that you're struggling with your mental health. It makes you feel vulnerable, like you're opening yourself up to be judged or rejected. Now, don't get me wrong, it's extremely important to tell your friends and loved ones that you're struggling with depression so they can support you and help you out - that's what real friends are for. However, when you don't feel comfortable about voicing your struggles, you tend to isolate yourself from your peers and family due to fear of judgement.

Today, I think it's safe to say that everyone is on a lookout for that next big thing. The next revolutionary app or startup that will change the way we live our lives. After all, there's so much happening in the world that it can all feel a little overwhelming. We watch tech companies like Apple and Google release new products at major events that are covered by the maximum amount of media coverage. That's why I wanted to share how I'm happy to be using a new tool that is helping me find the next big thing.
I've been using EhmDee and have been really impressed with how simple it is to use as well as the amount of variety I'm able to find across different categories. When I first saw EhmDee, I was convinced that I'd be able to find something really funny to send to my friends just to brighten their day. But you know what? As a kid, I spend most of my time in the house. I love to play with kids outside. My parents don't want me to go out, because it's dangerous outside. I can't play with neighbors. Oh, my sunshine, my only sunshine! You make me happy when skies are gray! You'll never know dear, how much I love you. So please don't take my sunshine away.

Time and Tide
040522
One day an old man asks a genie to give him everything he desires in life. The genie grants his wishes, but first he warns him that the one thing he would regret is not giving himself time to enjoy them. The Genie says "And when your dinner time is over, time and tide waits for no man".
The man enjoys his dinner and is extremely happy, so happy that he neglects it and forgets about the genie's warning.
The next morning before he leaves for work he remembers about his wish and goes to the beach for a swim. He jumps into the water and disappears into the ocean.
As the sun rises the next morning, the man wakes up on a beach completely unaware of where he is or what he has done. He has no memories of his past life or anything.
This is a very interesting letter, I heard about this app when it was doing in a very difficult time for this app and the team was still very confident about their product.
I think this is a very important message to all of us. Good luck!
Your app is outstanding! We still use your app every day, thank you! My son has been using your app since he was 2 years old. He loved it so much and now he is 4 and can read by himself thanks to you. It's so hard these days to find apps that actually teach your kids something. You guys have really made an amazing job with this one. This app has been a part of our lives for about 2 years now and we simply love it. The way the stories are told and the lessons are learned are fantastic! I highly recommend it.
We often ask ourselves
what better way to spend our time? what could we be doing now? Hours pass by simply because we keep on delaying doing something
that can actually bring us happiness. We want to be able to live for today,
we want to be able to look back at the end of the day and think:
yes, this is what I wanted, this is what I planned,
this is what I have been dreaming of.
And then we wonder why nothing is working out...
why all of the sudden we are stuck in a situation that doesn't allow us to move forward,
to grow, to develop. But the truth is, sometimes it's just not within our power. We might feel that we don't have enough time,
that there are too many things to do, so many things that need to be done so quickly.
Yes, sometimes it's just not within our power.
No matter how much we rush, no matter how much we try, there will be days like this when we can't do everything that we want because there just aren't enough hours in one day.
And when this happens, it's good to stop for a moment and breathe.
It's good to stop rushing around and think about what's really important for us and for those around us.
It's good to take our time and enjoy every moment of life.
Because time is always too short anyway... but life goes on.
Time is the only thing in this world that will never wait for you. It will pass by, no matter what you do. And sometimes it feels like it's passing you by and you don't even notice it, because sometimes time seems to be very slow, but then suddenly time is the only thing you notice. Because you realize that time is the only thing that matters. Time is the only thing that you have no control over. And yode is the only thing that never stops till the end of time. Time is the only thing in this world that will never wait for you, but sometimes everything you do is a waste of time. Time and tide wait for none. It is human nature to get bored with things at some point of time. The internet is one such thing which gets boring if you do not change it or add new things. You have to be innovative with your business. I know of a guy called Kalai who ships quirky and innovative packages via mail. He is called the mailman of happiness sourced from ehmgee.com. He sells happiness in the form of gifts through mailboxes. People have gotten bored of shopping online, by seeing the same thing over and over again. Sometimes, people are just not happy when they do not get what they have ordered or even when they get their desired product. It is my advice to you all to keep innovating or come up with something new that will make people happy to shop from your store as well as order from your store again and again.
If you like EhmDee's ideas, please consider sharing this article.
I so much love to put smiles on people's faces.
Its perfectly fine to show your love for someone by giving them gifts, but what if you could give your loved one something that is guaranteed to put a smile on their face every day? This article is a review of a nicely designed greeting card website called ehmtee.com. The site is well designed, easy to navigate and has a huge selection of cards. Ehmtee.com also has options to choose from the most beautiful picture of your choice and add it in your card then send it to your loved one. The site has a huge selection of greeting cards available for purchase. You can customize each card with picture, font and text colour then send it to your loved one. The shipping is also very low if you select the option of getting the card at your home without paying for shipping.
Time and tide waits for no man, so we have to make the best of our time. Every day that crawls by is the opportunity to make our mark on the world, but what we don't realize is that time was never our side. We waste so much time lamenting on how we lost the chance at this or that but not making any efforts to change our lives. Bolstered by the mantra that, we work hard today to reap tomorrow and that tomorrow shall be better, we are doomed as a society. What if it doesn't happen? What if tomorrow never comes? Do we really want to spend our lives lamenting what could have been? Heaven have mercy on us all for wasting time! As I embrace this new year with my arms wide open, I will take my life into my own hands to create a better tomorrow.
I am now committed to taking actions; starting with this post. To anyone reading this and wondering if I'm pulling your leg, I assure you that I'm not. This is me putting my neck out there. I am declaring that my tomorrow shall be better than my today.
Time and tide waits for no man but the time sure has come for us Africans to take a bold step and have our own online business. So many young people nowadays have a good understanding of Internet, social media, blog and chatting platforms. Having their own business would help reduce the culture of unemployment that is engulfing our communities. I am encouraging young entrepreneurs to explore this opportunity by setting up your own online shop. Visit ehmdee.com for more information on how you too can have your own online shop or blog www.ehmdee.
One of the most important impulses of human kind is to leave some memento of their passing, something over which their very soul has breathed life into for posterity. We all remember about our dreams, feelings, and emotions through stories. While some people want to pass on their legacy through great works of art, music or literature, other just want to leave a photo of their most adorable mug.

Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover
010522
You can always find a reason to not to do something. You can always find an excuse for one step back. But if you ask me what I would like to be remembered for, I would say it's a small company that was able to make children smile. I am so proud to be able to say that we are able to help people, families and even whole communities just by bringing happiness.
My company is not the biggest, not the best-known, but it's mine and no one can take it from me. That's why I so much love to put smiles on people's faces. That's what I do.
I was always drawn to art, so maybe that's why this business clicked so well with me: I love creating and I love seeing the smile on my customers' faces. My passion helps me to succeed and gives me the power to keep going when times are tough.
When I started my business, I didn't have a lot of money, but I still managed to make something from nothing. I wasn't the most talented artist or author, but my will help me find my fan base and make them smile.
I so much love to put smiles on people's faces. This is how our story started and this is how it will continue.
So many times I'm told that I look too young to be an adult. I am 10 years old by the way. They don't know what I'm about. They don't know the struggles of my everyday life. That's exactly why I started this business. I want people to see the real me and not just the cover.
Companies like EhmDee focus on creating content for, and from, a specific perspective, wh
I'm sure you're wondering why I have not been around lately. I've been going through some changes in my personal life and currently trying to take a step back and just figure things out. But I am doing okay, life goes on lol, just doing what I gotta do to be happy.
Actually, you will be surprised to know that how a book cover can affect people. We humans are so convincing that we can be fool by a simple thing like a book cover of a novel, which is designed and presented in an interesting way.
A blogger Chris Winters from the United States has done something surprising by his book review of James Joyce's Ulysses. Check the cover maybe this is familiar to you.
If you feel that you have read the book or heard of it before then you are not wrong. The cover looks similar to the book and here is why!.
Chris Winters wrote a post on his blog few days ago that "you shouldn't judge a book by its cover". Here, he has spoofed with James Joyce's Ulysses and its cover. He has successfully fooled the readers that they are reading an original book when they are actually not!
I bet you have never read a book like this!
This is one of the most creative and interesting way to write a book review of a novel. If you have read it then let me know about it in the comment section below because I am also curious about it.
How creative this man was!! I just loved it :-).
When I saw the book for the first time, it was in an online store. It was wrapped in plastic. The book had an interesting title and it cost me only $2.99.
It was a pretty naive purchase. Many people ask me why I bought this book and even my friends laughed at me. But I was just so curious about this book.
From the very first line, the story revealed itself to be a sad and funny one. The author was familiar with writing and I liked his style of writing. However, when I noticed that my phone had no signal in a certain place and I realized that the story might end up in the middle, I became really anxious.
I just wanted to know what happened next!
The ending was really unexpected, so I started reading the story again right away, sitting near an open window.
It's really hard to say something positive about this story, because all "books" have an ending and they can't be changed. Sometimes, things are just not meant to be. I guess we shouldn't blame anyone, not even destiny for that. We should appreciate what we have now, trying not to put too much emphasis on the past or chase after our dreams.
I'm a lover of words, a dreamer but most of all, I'm a writer. I've created this blog to document some of my thoughts and spark my creativity.
This is my very first blog post so it's not the best out there. But I hope you enjoy!
Copywriting is something that everyone can do and yet only a few have mastered. It's a skill that's not specifically taught in school or acquired through college degrees, yet it's one that is the heart of a business' success.
It's in our nature to be judgemental. We have to be critical of what we're reading in order to learn. But you know what? People make mistakes. We all do. And that includes me and you.
I've had so many friends and family tell me how cute my kids are and how I should take pictures/video of them everyday, because someday the picture will be priceless. I'm sure you've heard it too. But I've found that to be a lie because nothing is more priceless than the moment itself.
Currently Making Sone Changes

Currently making some changes in my life, if you don't hear from me then you're part of my past
This is a letter to the wind, I hope that you will see it and make it to my future because you are the one that keep my spirits up.
I know that I am not the same person anymore, I so much love to put smiles on people's faces but now it seems like they are just fading away. It's time to move forward, no more looking back.
I know so much love you but also that you can't be with me all the time. I just want one more chance to prove that we can make it happen for real, stop cheating on me with the past and wake up from my dream. That's the last thing I am going to say because I feel like it's too late and the reason why I am doing this is because we r not the same person we were when we met each other.
I don't want to see you or even hear from you again if your heart is not ready to commit.
I wish you luck with your future, good life and may happiness be your side all along.
Now it's time for a new chapter of my life and I really hope that my luck will be on my side when I do it because I so much wish that.
Although this is something i've been contemplating for the past year, I'm finally doing it. I've past away from the modeling industry and I'm actually happy about it. Now I'm focused in school and work, my business is growing and my future bright.
The wind is changing, and I am too. I so much love to put smiles on people's faces. Now, I'll be put them on their feet and in their living room through my photography brand, EhmDee Art Photo.
The model thing was something I enjoyed but I never had the discipline for it. So even though I loved every second of being pretty (that's a lesson for young girls out there), I'm way happier off of that stage.
I would like to thank all of my friends and family for supporting me during this crazy path towards self realization. And all of my favorite photographers who I met during the process and hope to open my own doors thanks to you guys. Wind of change. - Currently making some changes in my life, if you don't hear from me then you're part of my past.
I'd like to share a little 'Passion' with you;
After many weeks of deliberation and searching I have decided to make some changes in my life, and have decided to go back to the roots and start my own business.
Making changes - Currently making some changes in my life, if you don't hear from me then you're part of my past. I've been holding back and keeping to myself a while now and I've decided to let go of any negativity that I've had in my life. My profile will be deleted with one of the next two posts.
I'm sure you're wondering why I have not been around lately. I've been going through some changes in my personal life and currently trying to take a step back and just figure things out. But I am doing okay, life goes on lol, just doing what I gotta do to be happy.
Hello, I'd like to share a little 'Passion' with you today :-)
After many weeks of deliberation and searching I have decided to make some changes in my life, and have decided to go back to the roots and start my own business.
Within the next month I will be leaving this job, to start a new life.
I've been working here for the past 3 years, and it's a great company, and the people are awesome, but it's not for me, it's time for me to spread my wings and fly on my own :-)
I'm not sure where this path will lead me, but one thing is for sure is that I will find out.
The only thing that I know for sure is that I am ready for this new chapter in my life, and looking forward to see what the future holds in store for me.
I've got so much planned in store for the future so watch this space.
Until next time 'Passionate Entrepreneurs', have passion and never give up.

Life is a two-sided coin

"Life is a two-sided coin" song is a remarkable story of how she overcomes the challenges of being in the music industry for three years where she was treated as 'waste product'. Being down on her luck but never giving up, she writes a song that made her stand out from the rest. Reaching her dreams, she has big plans for the future.
Life is a two-sided coin. Life is easy when you are on the mountain, you gat peace of mind like you never know. But things changes when you're down in the valley, don't loose hope. I always say life is so much about attitude. Life is easy when you are up on the mountain, you gat peace of mind like you never know but things changes when you're down in the valley, don't loose hope iyempre walang forever quote. Life is a two-sided coin.
Life is a two-sided coin, on one side you gotta laugh and play, let things roll off your shoulders. But on the other, you can't let all the haters get to you or your world would be a mess. Life is sweet when it is flowing, but life is a lot sweeter when you learn to flow with the punches and stand up for yourself. Listen to the life story of Ijaabo! A Nigerian woman who started a successful fashion business from scratch and now sells her wears to customers around the world. Using her skills and creativity she has grown her fashion empire "EHM DEE" leaving no room for failure. She tells of how she was down in the valley with 2 kids and was reduced to nothing, but with hard work and determination she made it. Her story is a true testimony that there is hope for everyone.
The music video features the story of a woman named Annie. She is from a small village but has always dreamed of being an actress. She moves to the big city to take her career to the next level and find a life partner along the way. Life is a two-sided coin; life is easy when you are up on the mountain, you gat peace of mind like you never know. When you are down in the valley, things changes completely. No need for me to go into details about what you go through.
In the words of Shaggy, "Life is good". But life is not always good, sometimes it's been hard. Most people will tell you to keep it moving, but remember that the sun is so much brighter when it rains.

The Catalyst
250422
Talking about catalyst, for popular Nollywood actress and wonderful mother, it does not have to be a complex thing. It came as a result of her love for putting smiles on people's face, that led her to pay school fees for 12 students from the same community.
The actress who has now joined the league of International philanthropists, told the story of how she got to this phase of her journey in an exclusive interview on with Encomium Magazine. "I always wanted to give back to my community and God has just allowed me to do so in so many ways."
She said. "I started out by partnering with different organizations like World Vision, Operation Smile and others before settling on this initiative which I am now sponsoring 12 students every month."
According to her, the idea of sponsoring students came as a result of being asked many times by people to sponsor students with little or no means to sustain their education. "I decided that if I could sponsor one student per month, I would be able to reach more people."
I am in the marketing and public relations industry, which is why I know how to market my work so people can find it. But when it came to my personal story, I cut myself off from the world. It was an intentional decision because I didn't want to relive a painful moment in my life. In May 2016, a beautiful soul inside of me died--my grandmother. I love my Nana, but she's gone and I can't bring her back. It has been almost a year since she passed away and I am still trying to cope with her death.
If it were not for the story of man, many things would have been left undone and never accomplished.
It is this same story that has been pushing and driving the human race from the dawn of man to the present age. It is the story that drives a man to think, act and do.
In the past, the story of man has been told in many ways, from through oral recitation, written scripts, musical compositions, plays and films. As we move into a new age of technological advancements and globalisatio at a faster rate than ever seen before, it's time that we find a modern method of telling stories as an alternative to the traditional art forms. The digital age has given us many outlets to tell our stories; books, films, digital video and now mobile applications on devices such as smartphones and tablets.
The catalyst - Behind e every a tion wether good or bad, there's always a catalyst; that masterminding factor that pushes activities of man.
This is a phrase you often hear me say and this is a saying that best describes my personality and approach to life. But also it is the quote that best describes every single action I embark on. For I have learnt that as humans we're always doing something and we don't always know why. We may not always be in control of the situation around us yet, if we know and understand what are our reasons for doing things; we might have a better chance of making sense out of what we do.
This is a lesson I learnt as a young man growing up in Nigeria; a place where I was born and raised by my parents. A place where from school to university life, education was considered extremely important but not everything. A place where opportunities were there for those who could grab them with both hands. A place where if the only thing you had in your cupboard was a hammer, every problem was a nail. And that's exactly what I did, I grabbed hold of every opportunity that came my way and I made sure to make the most of
What Goes Around Comes Around

Everyday I received a lot of messages from people who wanted to send me their gratitude, appreciation and love.
I was surprised a little bit at first, but then I realized why they were doing this.
I put little videos in my Story about my day and everyday I sometimes post about something that is happening around me.
Every day I see the effect that my life has on others and how it connects people who are far away from each other.
It is really beautiful to see that the world can be this small; sometimes even smaller than you think. I just bring the content and sometimes I'm lucky that I am able to share happiness with others.
It is amazing to know that billions of people share their day with me, like me, comment on my posts, and sometimes get in contact with me.
The "Story" feature has changed my life and it has changed the way I am living my life.
On Facebook Stories, I can capture stories that otherwise wouldn't be told or seen by many people.
And if there is one thing that I want to say: never underestimate the power of one single video or picture which can change someone else's life for the better.
The story of writing is a long and winding one. It's something that I've been doing nearly all my life. I used to love to write stories and poetry and although I recently stopped, it was mostly do to bullying in high school but I'm going to make a come back.
I love taking on different challenges and writing is a form of challenge in itself. I may not be the best writer but that doesn't mean that I'll stop trying. I will continue to write until the day I die and when I pass, my words will still be able to reach the hands of others.
Audrey Seiler says that "In short stories, you can tell the whole world; in novels, the whole world can tell you something about yourself." It's very true because in a short story there is less space for descriptions and plot; therefore the reader must use their imagination to fill in the gaps. Novels are longer than short stories, and have more space for descriptions and plot. As a result, novels tell you more about yourself than a short story. I love reading both of them.
You see, stars are not born up there. They are just ordinary folks like us and they have to serve their time in the trenches before they get that big break. So be it an actor who had to endure many rejections before landing a role or a singer who had to wait on tables before she got discovered, they all started just as we did, waiting for their big chance. And then when that chance came knocking on the door, they worked hard and played hard to make it happen.
And that's the life of a star. So here's wishing you your big chance. We hope you make it happen, we believe you deserve it and we know you can do it. "What goes around comes around" - One afternoon, when I was out with a friend at a bar, I noticed a man standing behind us. He was staring at me as I was scrolling through my Facebook feed. When I was done with scrolling, he came to me and asked me to go on a date with him. I told him that I'm not interested because he wasn't my type. To my surprise, he pleaded with me once more and insisted that we go on a date if only for the fun of it, but I still said no. So then, he made up an excuse about how he was very rich, he took out a check book from his pocket and showed it to me. I still said no to his offer but that didn't stop him from trying to convince me one last time.
Life of a Star

Let's be clear, stardom is not meant for everyone. It is difficult to climb up on that ladder as there are so many expectations from you. It is so much a responsibility. It is about how fast you can adapt, how smart you are and how good you look at it.
I was told by someone who has been working in the industry for decades that one should never look into the eyes of fans, but instead bend down and smile at them instead. He said that looking into their eyes might make their heart skip a beat and this might cause them to faint down.
Stardom is not an easy job to do. Climbing isn't as easy as it seems, there are lots of expectations in life. When you look up to your idol and they look down at you with eyes of – I'm doing great, please remember that they don't always have it as easy as they seem on screen. There are times you have to give in selflessly because that's what being a celebrity is all about.
In addition to being open books, celebrities are also great mentors and role models. As an emerging artiste, I was able to learn so many things from them. They taught me about how things work in the industry and how to be a better person.
In this day and age stardom is not that easy as it seems, one moment you're on top of the world and then in the blink of an eye you face the lowest low that anyone can imagine.
Friendship, love, trust and everything else will get tested when you become famous. At a party in London I met a famous star from Nigeria who has been in the UK for 7 years but he said how hard it is to make friends here. Let's be clear, stardom is not meant for everyone. The Big Rule
200422
The big rule - Contentment matters in every thing you do, although difficult to apprehend it pays a good yeild. Contentment is the palfrey on which the knight spirit rides into the world of its desires. He that has many wishes and wants but few contentions is a happy man; he that has all his wishes and yet is still discontented falls into misery and sicknesses. The greatest happiness is to have little or no wants and yet be free from contention with neighbors and friends. Take away envy and emulation, and you have taken away the greatest causes of contention among men. From envy and emulation, hatred, strife, and contentions come; for envy is the root of all contention. If a man would avoid all strife, let him lose sight on himself; let him look upon God rather than on his fellow creatures; let him do as nature does: bring forth good fruit, and leave off quarrelling with all the rest of mankind.
The condition of man, since his fall, hath been an enemy to contentment; but there is no truce with it but by fighting the enemy. Of all enemies to contentment the principal is I. Himself: for he that disquieteth himself in one place can hardly find peace and rest in another.
In fact, it pays very good yeilds. EhmDee has been my greatest teacher. When I started to write, I wanted to make money from it. I knew that if I did this, contentment would be the reward and my life would change for the better.
You may want to believe that happiness and satisfaction are synonymous. They are not. Happiness is fleeting. Contentment endures. Contentment will remain, even in the throes of distress, conflict or heartbreak. Because the greatest moment of contentment is when you realize that you have nothing left to gain; that your cup is already full. There's no fear of loss because there was no fear of gain in the first place.
And because there was no fear of loss, there was no fear of failure either!
I so much love to put smiles on people's faces, that sometimes I forget my main objective: to share my story and make people feel better about themselves, knowing they're not alone in this journey called life.
Contentment is the attainment of a state of being happy with what you have and not what you want.
In every human occupation or calling, contentment matters. It pays a good yeild. For instance, in times of peace it is important to be at peace with your culture or nation. In times of war, it is important to be at peace with your enemies. In times of study, it is important to be at peace with yourself and your teachers. In times of business, it is important to be at peace with your customers, co-workers and your boss.
Wisdom comes with time and experience. Wisdom is the reward for all good deeds done for the poor and needy in the past eras. Wisdom inspires every good deed that we do in the present period in our generation to bring about peace in the next era.
Human beings are so much into the pursuit of happiness, wealth, status and fame which is why they work hard in achieving their dreams, this chase only makes them fail. Soon you realize that all your efforts are gone in vain. But the bigger question is whether happiness and contentment are the same? You will be surprised to know that many people are content with their lives and we often find these people happy simply because of their contentment.
The big rule is if you want to be happy always, then try to appreciate what you have or where you stand rather than thinking about what you don't have or where you aren't. If someone is happy without having much money then why not you? If someone is happy without successful career then why not you? If someone is happy without having the world at her feet then why not you?
If you truly want to be happy always then become contented, keep yourself busy with the little things that bring smiles on your face and make your days worth living. Once you do so, you will always remain happy.
The big rule is that you must understand how to master the art of contentment and that's to set your self for happiness and not for material gains or good achievements, it does not only hold good for business but for every aspect of a man's life, from his home life and social life. For example, having a wife and children are very good creations by God, and he will guide us on how to make this a home full of joy and peace, if we are not merry in our homes, we will not be able to bring happiness to others.
Unhappy people can never be successful in the modern economic world. The main aim of human life is the realization of one's own potential. I wish every one of you can join us and also find their best path to success.
We do our small part to bring contentment to peoples lives.
Started by two school mates, EhmDee is a startup from Chennai which aims at coming up with innovative solutions for the contentment of people.
We are the makers of a product called 'WishTree'. WishTree is a product created for thoughtful gifting solution to convey your heart-felt wishes to your loved ones.
In the current scenario, we observe that it has become really difficult for people to show their care and love towards others, especially in the busy life style at present. We do not have enough time and hence we fail to show our affection in an effective manner. But there are few things which we can change - our behavior, attitude and approach towards the others. In order to make the lives of people more pleasant and comfortable, we bring WishTree to you. Contentment may fall short of being attained after much effort, but it pays a good produce that is worth the exertion. It is inevitable to have your desires not being fulfilled to the letter you expect, but this factor should not be a source of frustration.

These days, there are few things that are certain in life. But one thing that is definitely certain is that a new EhmDee Story will be posted on Christmas day. It's the one thing we can be 100% sure about. Merry Merry Merry - It's time to merry our Lord Jesus Christ is risen. We are so excited to celebrate the arrival of our lord Jesus. We have brought out this new products just to remind you of our lord Jesus' arrival.
Oh my God! Christmas is around the corner and time to Merry Merry Merry . I so much love to put smiles on people's faces. This is the season of giving and giving out good treats. I just want to share this holiday cheer with my friends. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a very happy new year.
It's time to spread the love, don't forget your loved ones. Make sure you spread love and joy to those around you. We should celebrate this season together.
This season is all about celebrating with our beloved families and friends. To show how much we cherish them, we would want to give them everything they want and need – but of course, that would cost a fortune. Hence, it's best if we keep our budget in check by choosing thoughtful gifts that they'll surely enjoy instead of lavish presents that will just sit on the shelf. Shewish - This has been my go-to gift giver this Christmas. Every time I get a chance to shop for gifts, I always come back here because I know for sure that my choice will surely be appreciated by the receiver. Shewish has made it easier for me to purchase gifts and even get them delivered all at once, hassle-free!
Gifts are very important during this season of giving because it lets not just ordinary days be extraordinary but it also gives us a chance to show our special someone how much we care about them.
Merry Merry Merry! It's time to Merry our Lord Jesus Christ is risen.
For Christmas, I made a video for my fans with lovely gifts from #Amazon, #Macy and #Nordstroms.
I love all of you so much and thank you for your continuous support and love.
Blessings to all of you and Merry Christmas!

This is my Facebook: https://www.facebook. It's time to celebrate how ridiculously warm this weather is. We're talking shorts and t-shirts. So the four of us (Andres, Rene, Sonia, and I) have decided to leave the comfort of our home office and venture out into the city. Now we may not be able to shop locally, but we can drink locally, so off to Winter Hill Brewing Company we go.
We talk about how different states are still in denial that summer is over, how the community of other small business owners has been the best thing that's ever happened to our business, and how one of us once rode a segway while drinking beer and ended up on the ground with a broken finger. Ahh college days....

It is well
150422
Though darkness may last for a night, joy comes in the morning, just learn to say "it is well". God's word is true and in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
It will s well,
It will s well,
It will s well,
With my soul.
It will s well. Though darkness may last for a night, joy comes in the morning, just learn to say "it is well". And look there's always hope, it's not what you know, but who you know. if you don't have a dime, but you have a dream, it's called a hustle.
I love experiencing God's light. I am truly in awe of the blessings He showered on me. I so much love to put smiles on people faces. When I posted my first blog about making money blogging and other topics, I did not know what to expect, but I was so surprised when I got commendation from so many people and some even claimed that it changed their lives.
It will s well. Though darkness may last for a night, joy comes in the morning, just learn to say "it is well." Staying positive when all seems bleak is a skill that requires regular practice. When you're walking through the valley and you see no light at the end of the tunnel (or if you're like me and you view streets as tunnels) try saying: "It will s well."
Have you ever heard people say that "everything happens for a reason"? It turns out that this statement is true, though it will be years before you are able to see how things that are happening now actually work out for good.
For example, let's say you're facing a career setback or an argument with your spouse. You may want to run away from these situations or complain about them but instead say: "It will s well."
You may be surprised how effective this phrase is. It helps you to remind yourself that God is in control, and everything will work out just the way he planned it. Remember, those blessings you have been waiting on have already been prepared, it's just a matter of time before they fall into place. So just relax and trust God's timing, and remember to say "It will s well" throughout the tough times.
Once again, I'm so glad that I was given the opportunity to share my testimony and also I'm very grateful to have had so many people supporting me both here in Nigeria and abroad.
A lot of times when I am working on my mural or street art, I don't mind if it rains. It can be a challenge to paint in the rain but enjoy it too because it clears up the air and gives life to things. Christmas morning is a time when everyone is excited and happy. There's been a lot of work that has been put into the preparation of Christmas, the food, the gifts and wrapping.
Those that witness Christmas morning with their children may enjoy watching them open presents they've received. However, I wanted to express how much joy there is from the excitement of unwrapping gifts, but I also wanted to draw attention to how important it is for us to know that Christmas comes every week for us, with every blessing and every good thing in our life. My hope is that when people see this mural, they'll have a great time looking at it and having fun with it. But for those who are sitting on the bench with the most water on it, I hope that they will see themselves within this mural, that they'll remember to say "it is well" and allow Christ to permeate their heart.

To Err is Human

Mistakes are inevitable, we make them all the time. In fact, if you're like most people, you probably make a mistake at least once a day. This simple statement can be applied to almost anything in life: You're likely going to forget your wallet at least once before 2016 ends. You might mix up the names of two individuals you know who look similar or have similar names. You might even burn your toast one morning.
But do these mistakes diminish us as individuals? No! They allow us to form our identity, learn from our mistakes and eventually get better.
The same notion applies to businesses and brands on the internet. We all make mistakes, but what's important is that we learn from them and improve for the next time around.
In the digital space, there are numerous ways a business or brand can misfire. Either through content, product, or customer service issues, mistakes are bound to happen. But as business owners and brands, we must acknowledge this as a reality of doing business digitally, which shouldn't deter us from moving forward with our ambitions. If anything it should push us to learn more so we don't make the same mistake twice.
One thing I have learned through my journey of online entrepreneurship is that mistakes are bound to happen, you just have to learn from them and bounce back from them. Everyone makes mistakes. And, that’s okay! To err is human.
Once upon a time, EhmDee was building the app - but in his haste, he made some errors and published them in the app store. The app store ratings plummeted! And, all was terrible.
EhmDee started to fret and fret even more when he realized his mistake. He wondered if he should just go away forever and close up shop. But, as he sat there with his head in his hands, a friend came to sit by him and handed him a cup of tea.
"You are only human," said Master Oogway. "You are not perfect, yet neither are your customers." With these words of wisdom, EhmDee geared up again and set about fixing things. He remembered that it was the little imperfections that gave things character and appeal. He remembered that people’s good points far outweighed their bad points. He remembered the most important thing of all: the power of gratitude..
There is a saying that goes, "to err is human", the implication being that no one is perfect.
One of the things we have found out at EhmDee that has helped us improve our performance over time is the emphasis on continuous improvement. There are 5 basic principles for continuous improvement:
1. Start with the end in mind - know what you want by asking yourself what business results your action will generate and what value this will deliver to your customers.
2. Define your current reality - a good way to do this is by asking what do you want to achieve, do you have measures in place to tell you how well you are doing?
3. Develop hypotheses - make informed guesses about what might be the causes of your current state and then think about how you can change these to get better results
4. Test your hypothesis - take action and measure the results using metrics that are leading indicators of where you want to go. Correct and repeat until you get there
5. Act on feedback - succeed or fail, feedback tells us what works and what doesn't so take time to reflect, learn and if necessary change then act again
EhmDee's commitment to continuous improvement has helped us improve our performance over time thus making our customers happier.
Take your stand

TAKING A STAND ON DECISION MAKING
As an adult, it has been challenging to take a stand on decision making sometimes because the world ain’t all math. And some times we tend to do things that ain’t right or simply because we don’t have a choice. The best way I can explain this is that we always been given two choices to choose from instead of creating our own terms and condition. I should have taken my stand in the beginning but due to my fear of the unknown and confusion, I fall into the chosen ones. The thought of creating my own terms and conditions were just an “impossible dream” then.
Today, I took a stand on decision making because it was heavily advised by the people around me. Decision making is hard for you when you’re trying to live in a country that totally doesn’t apply to your culture. So if you’re going through this too, please don’t make decision on what others think because sooner or later, it will catch up with you. Iknow it is hard but I believe that nothing is impossible if you have faith and trust yourself.
Think about it, no one in this world are perfect so let make the best out of everything we had and try to become our own heroes today.
A time comes when you are faced with a decision to make. You have to weigh the options and stand on a decision to launch your startup or plan for its failure. Before making that decision you need to be aware of certain things, for example "how much money do you really have?", "how long will you take to launch an MVP?" and the most important thing "do you really love this idea?". It may not sound like an important question but if your answer is yes then I can provide some tips that have worked for me and I hope it will work for you too.
Often times when I talk to friends about decisions that have to be made, I find myself sitting back, listening and watching them going round and round with their opinions.
You see, that's when I want to share with them my decision making process but I wasn't sure how to word it or even how it will sound. But recently I did a blog post On decision making, and was surprised at how much feedback I received on it.
I didn't know everyone loved reading my blog as much as I loved writing. LOL! It was so fulfilling knowing people appreciated the lighthearted stuff. As it turned out, after the post went live, I received a lot of comments and emails from people who said my decision making process helped them cope with their indecision. This got me thinking that maybe sharing this technique with more people can help them understand that there is a way of dealing with delays and indecision and it does not have to be complicated.
So, I present to you my decision making process diagram and hope this will help you reduce the agony of waiting for an ultimate decision from someone else.
As you can see, my approach is nothing complicated, but is a simple method that's easy to use when you are in a hurry. Please feel free to share this with anyone you love who may be going through issues with indecision.
Let me remind you what decisions have affected my life, and may be u as well. Take your stand no internet; Take your stand on no heat;
Take your stand on no car;
Take your stand on no phone;
Take your stand on no washing machine;
Take your stand on no clean water;
Take your stand on poor diet;
Take your stand on no school;
Take your stand on no health care;
Take your stand on no bank account;
Take your stand on police brutality;
Take your stand on sexual abuse;
Take your stand on child abuse.
I could go on and go. I challenge anyone to be able to add to the list of points above. Yes, many of the things I listed are not new issues, but they are life changing issues for some. I know because most of them happened to me. I never had a dilemma deciding if I would accept them or fight them until now the list is getting longer and if you think it can't happen to you, then you are in for a surprise.
'Was it the right time to leave office?' The question has been on my mind since I left the office. It is really a time consuming decision that I have taken and I have taken a bold one.
I have just not taken a bold one but I am also confident about my decision and I will keep on doing my best for the people of District Daska.
I am going to be one of those people who would be in touch with the people because I believe in social media and technology. I want to be a person of people and not a person of vakils.
I believe in transparency and in this digital world, social media is the best medium for that. People want to know what is happening around them and with Senate elections coming up next year, this will help me take my plans in front of them so that they know what I am going to do for them.
I have really had time to think hard about doing something different and that is why I have taken the decision to go my own way. I am sure that this will work for me but it is never going to be easy. Yes, there are challenges ahead but I believe in hard work and dedication so nothing can stop me or anyone else from achieving their goal in life.
Yes, I'm just a boy and I know that I can't decide the fate of millions of people but when I saw the poster I was the one who had to take a stand.
If you think that this is kind of a normal poster for human rights you are wrong. This is about my personal story and how my dad sacrificed his life for something that he believes in. This is not just a story about a poor boy in Bangladesh but it's also a story about an ordinary family that wants to give their children more than they had.
