I never thought true friends ever existed until what i heard and saw today in service.

During today's church services, every activity, including the sermon, was oriented on friendship. We were instructed to bring at least two friends to church today; sadly, I was only able to bring one buddy. As a drummer, I just attend church to play the drums and listen to the other instrumentalists. I'm not one of those people that is bothered by preaching

Following the Pastor's sermon, the moderators of today's Friendship Sunday began playing Friendship games. At first, anyone would write a letter to their best friend and come forward to read it aloud to the congregation, and it would be even more entertaining if the best friend was also present. A lady came out to recite what I'd call an ode to her best friend, declaring her love for her through thick and thin. When she began, I had already deduced that her best friend would be none other than Jesus, because her epistle's contents were so mind-blowing that no one saw it coming when her best friend ran forward to hug her. I was so shocked because i never thought *best friends* still exist.

After she left, another woman took up the mic stand and began her recitation, which was more akin to a poetry about friendship. She provided numerous reasons for having a best buddy. She provided examples of how friends may help one another and bring out the best in one another. Her performance was incredible, and she drew the audience out of their chairs. She concluded by saying that you can only have one best buddy. *"She said," she explained. There is only one thing you need to do to make being anyone's best friend easy for you. * *_You must be honest with yourself"_*
When she said that, it hit me like a ton of bricks. That is simply the truth of making a good buddy. The only best friend you can ever have is someone else, but being true to yourself is the best way to get a best friend. Make no attempt to blend in or adapt to someone else's reality.

Be honest to yourself, love yourself, believe in yourself, assist yourself, understand yourself, prioritize yourself over anything else, and don't pretend to be someone you aren't.... There are a lot of things that can be stated about being true to oneself. Nothing can make us change who we are. It's the finest method to find your closest friend if you stay loyal to yourself.

Guys give your opinion on this in the comment section.

Happy boxing day guys

I'm not one who believes in true friendship, as Bob Marleys says, only your best friend knows your secret, so only he can reveal it.
