She can See the Sky, Flash-Fiction Challenge

There is this child who always wonders how it feels like riding a cloud. She always wants to see how the clouds are dancing in the sky. Other people ever noticed her and still give her a grin smile. She almost spends every day looking up above the sky. One time, it's as if the time has frozen. She felt terrified if her breathing has stopped, too. But, she can hear her heart beating fast. She can't still believe what's happening.

In just a snap, here she is, sitting in a very soft thing called clouds. She could see and feel its softness in her dreams. The feeling is very different. She can see how beautiful they are. An idea pops up in her mind - she wanna taste it. But, after thinking twice, she did not proceed in eating a piece of cloud. Anyways, she just enjoy the view. She said, "it is very comfy." With her words, one thing is for sure - she won't want to end this kind of scenario in her life.

However, like every dream, it will stop once you are awake. It may be a dream, but the girl believes that whatever it is, she would still choose to have a dream like this because she can only feel this kind of feeling when she is sleeping. Because once she's awake, everything goes back to normal. This means that she will again face another day seeing nothing but darkness. After a few moments, she finally found her walking stick beside her bed. She immediately uses it as her guide. Even if she can't see, she put her sweetest smile in her face symbolizing that she's ready again to face another day.
