sauerkraut rolls fasting sarma
Ingredients 5 people
4 onions of medium size
2 leeks
5 larger carrots
1 persuna root
1/4 celery root
4 price garlic
500 g of rice
1 large potato
500 g smoked fish (can be without fish)
2 heads of sauerkraut
vegeta
ground sweet paprika
Laurel leaf
pepper
flour
so
a bunch of parsley leaves
Preparation
1.Pour the oil into a large skillet to the thickness of a finger. Saute onion and leek in oil. Soak rice in water.
2.Finely chop the garlic. Grate the carrots, celery and parsley on a large grater and add all this to the onion and continue to simmer for 10 minutes ...
3.Then add the rice that we drained from the water and simmer for another 10 minutes.
4.Remove from the heat and add vegeta, pepper, salt, ground pepper, grated potatoes, parsley leaf
and one flat spoonful of flour.
5.Bend the sarma and arrange it in an earthenware bag or a fireproof bowl or wherever suits you :) .
I'm not a fan of sarma, I prefer stuffed peppers, but this recipe is quite ok and very healthy and tasty food.
