Your attention is needed

Blessed is the single child of her parent,they are very rich,her dad is a politician and her mom is a business woman,they hardly stay at home,so blessed spends most of her time with the househelp while growing up,when she was in primary school,her teachers would call for a general meeting but her parent won't be available because all they talk about is work,they don't have time for their child,one day one of her classmate bullied her in school,she was so eager to get home and tell her father but her father wasn't around and her mother too couldn't listen to her,all they care about is money money money,they will always give blessed enough money more than necessary so that she won't lack anything but blessed was lacking parental care and love.

This continued like that through her secondary School stage ,she was always with the nanny,her parent doesn't even have the time to drop her in school, while the father might have gone for his political career,the mother too would have gone for one of her business trips. Her father don't really know her school while her mum has gone there once when she was going to her secondary School the first time claiming they are very busy.

After writing her senior school examination she got admission to one of the prominent University in her state,she was so happy that she rushed home but she didn't meet anyone at home so she waited for her mom,she wasn't going to sleep this because her mom must know about her admission,so she waited for her till she came back that night,she ran to her mother and didn't even wait for her to say anything before telling her she got admission into the university,her was so happy and they started preparing everything she will need in school,so the day of resumption came,both parent decided to drop her off in school just because it's her first day in school but her mum couldn't enter her room,they were in a hurry, she told her parent to come see her room but they said they would see it some other time so they zoomed off.

She was so sad that her parents don't have her time,she started experiencing University life, she realized it was different from secondary School life, everyone in her lodge know she is the daughter of a rich man, automatically she is rich because there is nothing she doesn't have,she has a car too. So one day the cultist in her school decided to double cross her and bring her to their midst,they told her to join because they need her in their midst,she turned their offer down saying she won't join them, she wanted to talk to her parent about what she is facing in school but they would always say don't worry I will see you tomorrow......

When she went home for break,she decided she would tell her parent by all means but her parent did not give her listening ear as usual, her father told her tomorrow morning you can come and talk to me but right now I am so tired,so when it was morning she rushed to her dad's room but her dad has gone to work and she was so devastated because she needed to talk to someone about the happenings in her life,when she got back to school she decided to join them,there was nothing she could do because they were threatening her already,she was initiated,she started joining them in their meetings,she would ask a huge amount of money from her parent,they would give her and not even asking her what she would use the money for, that's how she ask money regularly from home,her parent believe they need to give her the money so she won't lack anything in school.

So one day they were having a cultist celebration when the police came to arrest them, some got away but blessed wasn't lucky enough to run away,she was caught and taken to the police station with some others,when her parent heard about this they were surprised and devastated,they had to rush to the police station,her mum was weeping while her dad was shaking his head, why did you do this to us,we gave you everything you needed,you have ruined my political career her father said......

Yes you gave me money but you never gave me your attention as a parent, all you care about is money money money,you never gave me the love and care I needed,I can't count how many times I came to you to talk to you but you've always ignored me,I didn't regret joining the team, at least they gave me listening ears,all you care about dad is your political career, let's see where your political career will take you to now when they hear your daughter is a cultist and mum too,you are always talking about your business,you are suppose to take care of me,take care of the home but no,you are always going on one business trip to another.... blessed was so angry that she had to pour out all her mind. Her parent regretted not been available for her but it was too late.

Train up your child in the way he should go involve you taking care of them, showing love and attention to them so they won't go astray because your children are your future so don't give up on them.
