Childhood Innocence

When I was young, I did not know the meaning of heir or bequeathed, all I knew was that hereditary is all about money or property of a rich person who died and bequeathed it to a child or a relative.

It was funny to think because when my mother told me that they had nothing to give me but to send me to school and finish my studies, my only conclusion back then was , Are we rich? because I will inherit my studies 😂😂 I know it was so ridiculous and well I was only in grade one back then, I was like I had no idea on what life was.

I was so naive back then that even the word boutique, I read it as "Butiki'' and I was so curious why boutique displays clothes or everything to wear when I know that "butiki" was the one at our ceiling and sometimes it poop right in my hair back then ( natatawa na lang ako kasi bakit pag hawak ko may  basa at mabaho 😂😂). I really thought that the English word for "Butiki '' was Boutique. 

When I was in grade six, I really thought that superheroes do exist, and I was dreaming just to be like them, flying and having super powers and saving the world haha. Well we can be heroes without superpowers because there were a lot of Filipinos that became heroes without any super powers, I was just dreaming of it and praying for it every time. Hehe but not now, I am now fully aware that it is only a fiction. 

The only good thing when I was young was, I didn't know the word money. It was okay with me even if there was no recess and even if I was given a peso, I would be happy.

I still remember when my boss was going to pick me up, what my older brother told me was that if I could find money, don't move it or else I would keep it safe and tell my boss when they came home.

I don't know a lot but I learned,  so even if I got to work early, it was the best experience for me, and because of that my boss corrected me for reading "Butiki" instead of Boutique.

Being a child is only once, so it's fun to think that even though there are bad things happening today, we still have memories of our youth.
