The blood consists of 45% red blood cells, 54.3% plasma and 0.7% leucocytes.

The amount of red blood cell in male is 4.7-6.1million and in female is 4 .1-5 .4 million. The total amount of leucocytes ranges from 4,000-11,000.

Read blood cells functions as an aid of transporting Oxygen to all the parts of the body and the life span is 120days with amount of 4.5-5.5million

White blood cell ​​​​contains nutrients. It helps in transporting nutrients to all part of the body. Life span is 4-5days with total amount of 4,000-11,000

Platelets ​it helps in blood clotting, no life span and total amount of 200,000-500,000.
