Home coming It's been over 3 months now since I left home bidding my loved ones farewell to go fulfill the requirements of my IT program which of course includes my physical presence there. The day I was go to leave home was not really pleasing to me as I have only spent just 2 weeks and some days with my family. My mom wasn't even around to bid me farewell and shower her prayers on me as she used to. This is actually due to the fact that she was trying to put everything in order for the burial of my grandmother which is to take place in the 22nd of next month. This had a lot of impact on me, because she has to reduce the amount of foodstuffs and pocket money I'd take along with me so as to be able to secure herself financially for the burial. Now, I had to come back home today due to the strike the university bodies have embark on. For sometimes now, I have been feeling reluctant to go home, maybe it's because I don't feel the attachment or need to be here anymore or perhaps I am trying to become responsible for myself and start building myself now. For whatever reason It is, I don't what to stay for long in that house anymore. I used to have this thought that it is my mum's house and not mine. Not to deviate so much from the main topic, I returned back home today and I was a somewhat excited probably it's because of the Meetup I was looking forward to. The journey from where I was before to my home state is supposed to take at about 2hours 30minutes but surprisingly it looks like only 1 hour journey to me. This is largely due to the fact that I was watching a Chinese movie on my phone titled 'journey to the west conquering demons'. It was a psedo-comedy movie. By I was occasionally interrupted by the stopping of our vehicle by the FRSC officials and other patrol policemen under the guise of checking the vehicle particulars and the vehicle conditions. But in reality they are after the money the driver is going to give them and if he delays or refuses to pay them, they would make sure to delay and waste his time until he comes to fulfil their requests. Nigeria, what a question?! I think I have deviated again. Back to my annoying story, I plead you bear with me and read till the end. The movie I was watching ending on good point and and I was about switching to another one but then the driver started playing some food beats I all I wanted to do was relax and listen to that jam. 5 minutes into the music, I could see the sign board welcoming travellers into the state capital. I heaved a sigh of relief and thanked God for the journey mercies in my heart. The driver park at the parking lot in the garage and the passengers started alighting from the bus. While I was trying to carry my loads and get a bike to take me home, I ran into a neighbor whose house is opposite ours. We greeted and exchanged pleasantries. After that, I got me a bike but the price charged was just so outrageous. I had to take it cause I had no choice because that was the second one I was stopping and I was already tired. On getting to my neighborhood, What greeted my eyes were beautiful buildings and well graded road. The bike man stopped me at the front of my house. I opened the door and what greeted me was a cute little puppy that looks like the cub of a lion. I later learnt it name is whisky. I couldn't wait to drop my loads before I started playing with the cute creature. I am a lover of dogs. I love dogs a lot and would like to have about 2 or 3 or more in my compound in the nearest future. I freshen up and relaxed for a bit. About 2 hours later, family started arrived from their place of work. We greeted (shouted a bit), hugged and started gisting straight away. Singing Vampires I woke up this morning somewhat a bit blant then became joyful when I remembered the victory I won in the fight I had the previous night with the singing vampires. I had decided to stay in Benin for a while before leaving for my home town and here in Benin, the temperature and those God forsaken vampires are making it a terrible decision. Going back to the fight, I had decided to go to bed around 10pm yesternight. After I had finished saying my prayers, I went to bed awaiting the sweet angel of dream to come take me on a journey. Lo and behold, they arrived! Their sucking pipes were long and well equipped to carry our their function. one of them sang past my ear and I thought it as nothing but a mere threat not until an inpatient one landed a stinging bite on my legs. The speed with which I got up was amazing. funny thing is I will search for them and would find them then lying down, they would appear out of their hissing places to continue their feasting on my blood getting up again, they would retreat back into the darkness. I don't know what that one was thinking or maybe it was so hungry and couldn't wait for me to lie down. It flew right in front of me with it wings moving very fast and efficiently creating a humming sound (which I have come to really hate ever since I was a kid). It landed on my thigh and was about digging with it palps and probocsis with 4 of it long extended legs resting on my surface of my body and 2 hanging the air. I was filled with rage and would have impulsively tried to kill it based on my annoyance. But then caution is Paramount so as not to make any rash movement thereby making this tiny devil escape. I gently raised up my hands and stationed it a 'kill order' position and await the strike command from my intellect. When I had seen that the idiot is feeling at home on my thigh, I then strike. Gbam!!! The creature didn't even know what hit it. With part of it body sticking to my thigh and palm, I, with a victorious smile beaming across my face stood up and wiped the corpses from my thigh and palm. I think its cohorts must have seen the horror movie played in front of them and decided to retreat for the night. For me, I was already thinking and strategizing how to effectively kill them or atleast sleep without getting bitten by those mosquitoes when a saviour emerged and removed the covering of darkness housing the mosquitoes and powered my medium Ox fan to blow and destabilize their flight in the air. The gladness in me knew no bound. I happily jumped onto my bed and some few minutes I slept off. Though I wasn't planning on writing on my battle with mosquitoes but I had to. Conclusion Dealing with mosquitoes isn't the real problem per say, but it is the end result of their bite. Mosquitoes (the female *anopheles* in this case) are the vectors of the malaria parasite- *Plasmodium viridis.* This protozoans cause Malaria fever in man. The other virus that causes yellow fever is found in Aedes mosquitoes. This is also another kind of mosquito that caused Elephantiasis or filariasis. It is called Culex and is the vector of *Wuchereria* *bancrofti*. Though it is reported that some have grow immune to the symptom and expression, it is still very active in the swampy and water abundant areas of Africa an Nigeria is not left out. Though the cases of deaths caused by malaria as reduced to an appreciable percentage in the urban and some rural areas of Nigeria, the sickness is still very much around . Man is a tripartite being that is he is a three in one person. He consist of the body, soul and spirit (I write as though we all agree to this. If not, please do your own research and get enlightened😊). He has a body which is the form with which he deals and partake in the physical realm. He has to have this body because without it, he can not effective interact with the physical realm. Even demonic spirits know this and strive to possess a person to be able to manifest in this realm. (Again, I speak as though you are convinced demons exist, if not, I advice you research and gain insight). I will take the last part which is the Spirit before taking the soul. The spirit of a man is the essence of his being. It is that breathing force in the flesh that is called MAN! The soul is my main focus for now. It is the very seat of emotion, though, reasoning, enlightenment and desire in a man. Infact, think of it as the feeling pot in man. Now the soul is also into three parts, namely: Emotions, Thoughts and Will. Emotions We feel and express our feeling because our souls as been equipped with the ability to carryout this function. The soul is the very seat of emotions in man. You can feel sad, happy, excited, anxious, lively, etc. That is why the emotions you feel comes from deep within you. Thoughts This is another section of the mind and one the greatest. Thoughts are unreal pictures or reasonings or imagination created and given life by the mind. You see, as much as you have to pay attention to your physical body, you need to pay the greatest attention to your thoughts, because your thoughts can either make it break you! The truth is, we are all products of some thought we had some things again. What I mean is everyone is a reflection of his past thought. Little wonder Jesus said 'the things that enters a man does not defile him but the things that comes out of him, for from the heart (mind) comes the issues of life'. He also said ' a good man is know by the content of his mind (thought)'. You are who you are by what proceeds from your mind chiefly your Thoughts. A man once said 'do you need a change in your life, change your thoughts'. Thought can create what doesn't exist and make it real so much to you that you will be afraid of that thing. *'all problems are illusions of the mind' - Eckhart Tolle* *'the mind is in it own place, and in itself can make a heaven of hell and a hell of heaven' - John Mitton* So, exercise your mind to always think of positive and pure thoughts. Taking note of your thoughts and equipping yourself with positive thoughts takes at least 80% of the mind exercise. You shouldn't just allow your mind wander into unnecessary thoughts that does nothing but create fear, pain, panick and uncertainties in your heart. Thinking and dwelling on unpleasant past experiences will only increase the perspitation of the heart and use up more oxygen and sugar in the brain leading to high blood pressure and other complications. So train your mind to remain calm and tranquil even in face of imminent danger. Never let your thoughts create bad pictures for you. Fear kills more than bullet at times. Will This is the final sector of the mind and it plays a major in decision making and conquering addictions. Now, the will, though being the most important part of ones action or proposed action, it is subjected to emotions and thoughts. To define it: **Will**, generally, is a faculty of the mind - within philosophy, will is important as one of the parts of the mind, along with reason and understanding. So your Will, which governs your actions, itself governed by thoughts and emotions. Conclusion Since the mind is made up of Emotions, Thoughts and Will, it is expedient that in our quest to train and exercise our minds, these three factors must be deeply considered. To exercise your mind can be done through; Reading books. This will equip mind with the necessary amours as will help your thoughts to be more constructive and focused rather than be disoriented and prone to any imagine. Control your emotions. As stated above, emotions are part of the mind, hence for it to be physically arrested that you really have control over your mind, you must be able to control your emotions. Your cravings, likes and possibly those things that easy get you beat up most be put under subjection. Dealing with emotions is not a day job, it requires practice, consistency, prayer and determination. Addicts usually find this hard to do. For example, a person who is addicted to masturbating, would find it hard t leave it when the feeling to get that pleasure arises coupled with thoughts and pictures from the previous act generated by his imagination. Hence, freedom from addiction is in three folds; freedom from the shackles of the feeling ( this is merely the first step and not so powerful), freedom from the thoughts and imaginations (this is where the hard work is done. It takes perseverance, determination, patience and prayers.) and lastly freedom of the will (this is the easiest so far the first two have been dealt with.) Know this that: *People are as happy as they want to be -Abraham Lincoln* Meditation. This method of mind training as been proven over and over again. You don't necessarily have to be a Buddhist for you to meditate. Find a quite place, sit down and start rehearsing all that you have read. Give your mind some work to do. When you do this make sure to consciously block any unwanted thought that may want to invade your heart. Learnt to be quite at most times Becareful of what you see and hear. Though it what comes out of a man that defiles him, but something must have gone in first! The more you see, the more you hear, the more you think and react. Let the holy spirit help you. He is ever present to help and strengthen you in your quest to attain inner peace. May the peace of God rule your hearts and help you to maintain a sane and pure mind. A whitelist is a set of memeber of a community (crypto community) that have the ability or given the opportunity to mint from the pre-sale of a project whether NFTs, tokens, etc. Sometimes ago (and sometimes now), you have to pay a certain amount of token to be able to purchase the desired token for which you got WL. The amount paid is really lesser than the original amount you are to pay if you wan to purchase the token after pre-sale. But nowadays, there are NFT projects that doesn't require any payment except for gasfee that is. All you need do is get WL or OG role. Now, how do you get whitelisted? Grind for WL: This means doing all the required activities to get Whitelisted. This activity may include following social media platforms of the developer, staying active in the server, building the community strength of the project, contributing to the growth and success of the project and so on. (Hint: the widely used social media channel for WL is discord staggerly followed by telegram) Making their sneak peek you profile picture. A sneak peek is a vague picture of the original NFT. You can find this in the channel names sneak peek or so in the project channel on discord. If you can't find it, ask the mod or any other person in the server for direction. Join channel as early as possible. This is actually the number one rule. Try to join the channel as early as you can as you can quickly get OG role and also WL. Chat, debate, brainstorm and be polite in the general chat section. Use polite words and decent words in the channel. Sometimes, MODs and the developers may come to chat in the general chat channel. Show them your interest in the project. Do not ask for WL or OG role as they know that is the reason for which you are there. If you notice anyone spamming, correct them or report to a mod for proper action. Participate in games in the channel. Games like rumbles, chess and so on can be organized by a moderator of the channel, do well to join and show your prowess in your desired sport. You can both win WL and some USDT or other token as the prize may indicate. Invites. You can whitelisted if the criteria is to have a certain amount of invites. The higher your invites, the higher your chances of getting WL. Make sure your invites are real and authentic. All in all, make sure to DYOR before investing or partaking in any AIRDROP or project. Going home There is this adage in y*oruba that says 'Ajo ole dun ko nile ma rele' and 'ile labo isinmi oko'. (Translation: 'No matter how sweet or pleasant a journey is, the Traveller must return back home' and 'The home is where rest from all journey is found'.)*. I started my IT program 4 weeks ago, a d those four weeks seemed like 4 months because of the stress I went through in the first, second and fourth weeks. Stories about Lagos. Before I and my classmates left for Lagos, I had already started imagining and fantasizing about Lagos and it beauty. Most of my classmates who were not from Lagos nor had not gone there before were also looking forward to see the famous and hyped beauty of Lagos State. We left quite early enough that day. The bus I boarded made the journey to Lagos so short and interesting because it was equipped with well finishing AC and a portable sized television. We stopped for a while at Ore to eat and stretch up a bit, some that were pressed also went to use the convenient. We continued our journey and 'UNDERWORLD' was playing on the screen. It was like a mobile cinema with the girls giving emotion and loud shouts and the boys enjoying every bit of the moment. A little while later, we arrived at Lagos and it was the opposite of what I expected. But moving from the boundary to VI and other parts of Lagos proved the stories about Lagos true. I have written on this before so I won't really talk on that. I think the only problem I encountered in Lagos is the traffic which in no small way affected my IT progam and caused some ruckus between my group and our coordinator. In a nutshell, Lagos really lived to my expectations even though I didn't go to all the fun places, yet the ones I saw were nice. Hence proving the stories about Lagos true. NIOMR Nigerian institute for oceanography and marine research (NIOMR) was the place I did my IT. Although we saw lots of equipment and machines, we didn't see them in action because the staff of the institute were on strike due to the non payment of their salaries and gratuities. This is the major problem of my country, **Misplaced priority**. ASUU (the academic staff union of universities) and other educational unions have been on strike for some times now due to their unpaid salary and then our president gave $1million to another country to render financial help. It baffles me as I cant imagine a father leaving his own children hungry and starving while he goes about behaving like a philanthropist. What a grossly foolish philanthropist he is! I hope the government would come back to their senses on time and settle the debt thet owe this bodies so we can resume schools and graduate on time. Coming back to NIOMR, I learnt some new things and saw both marine and brackish water including some freshwater organisms and some machines used for culturing and capturing these organisms. NIOMR was actually the very first place I saw a big sized tilapia (oreochromis) even though we have them in my school but those ones were stunted and not properly managed. I learnt new methods of fish transportation, processing and preservation. My experiences in NIOMR was in a sense, extensively educative. I wish I had come when the institute was active and not on strike, well, maybe I would who knows Wise words from Talon I and my friend @Talon were discussing an issue the previous day about being wicked. He made some remarkable and sincere points. He said (I am going to paraphrase it) that 'people tend to look at a person and categorize them in either being good or bad. In their own opinion, one of these entities have be on the higher percentage In an individual for you to be to say such a one is wicked or this person is good. Contrary to that, the two entities (good and bad) is in equilibrium in a person but circumstances and position tends to reveal or make one more obvious than the other'. When he said this I reason within me and was like, are there not some people that are just unprovokably wicked? He replied by saying 'true, some people may just have that bad entity high in them but not because they are bad in the original state of mind but what they have passed through or been exposed to may tend to influence and dominate their character thereby painting them bad.' he gave a stricking example of a time he was the class coordinator. 85% of the class then saw him as being wicked and just harsh. But then, we were not aware of the pressure he was getting from the farm manager then. We were oblivious to the fact this was once our classmate who was without blemish, we were blinded to the fact that with great position comes greater responsibility and actions. Now that we are done with the part for which he was elected a coordinator for, I have witness more than 2 or 3 persons walk up to him and said ' I never knew you were this good!' Now to the amazing part. After the bus that brought us from Lagos dropped us in the school compound and left, I and a friend ordered for Uber to carry us home. I, due to miscalculation, forgot my schoolbag there. It was when I go home I found out that my school bag was not among my loads. I quickly ran back to the school gate and chattered a cab to take me to and fro. A man from nowhere just came there and was saying the cab driver can take me cos it was his turn. The cab driver just calmly explain the fact that he had been there since morning and he even saw the other man carry his own passenger. On hearing this, the other man went cold and said he can go. On the way, the ma explained to me that he is avery volatile and emotional person. He said he used to shout and quarrel with them before and even though he is on his right but because of his outburst people used to tag him as a trouble maker and a wicked soul. He said even after the fight and everything, when he wins or loses, he always regret it cos it always take away his peace. He said he then made up his mind not to react to any issue based on his emotions but would rather become cheated and keep his peace than fight and loose everything. Immediately he said this I remembered those words Talon said 'circumstances and situation only reveal a part of one, but that is not who they are.' Lesson I realise that this is actually what's going on with most people. There maybe that wicked boss in your workplace or that bad boy in your class or neighborhood and you have concluded that they are just bad. Truth is even the most vilest villain as his own friends. Don't just look at people from a far and conclude about them (whether for good or bad). Move closer to them, get to know them personally and try to become their friend. An event is not enough to know who a person really his. So many people are going through a lot an they think the best way to relieve that pressure building up in them is by been harsh or wicked. NO! All you need is someone to talk to, someone to share your pains and story with, all you need is a friend and guess what there is a friend that is better than any friend u can ever have his name is Jesus. It doesn't matter what you have done or what you are going through, he can help you. He is not Lord alone, he is also a friend. People would say 'but we can see or talk with him physically', but that's a lie, you can talk with him and he will reply you either through the Bible, and aution or even through you hears! Jesus is ever ready to take all that pain from you and make you a better person. I know and I am sure that as you plan to make him your best friend and chief adviser, you will never ever regret it. I have not been online for sometimes now and it's all due to my day to day activities coupled with cooking and all that, or maybe it's that I was been lazy to write🤔 I had actually typed the article for yesterday which was supposed to be the part 2 of Truth, but couldn't post it cause the driving force or should I say inspiration is quite low. Logining into read.cash this morning, I had to quickly go through some articles my friends posted and two of them really got my attention. They are: **EXCUSES=FAILURES** by @Talon and a STORY ABOUT BABYBUSH by @BilqeesThe two of them are really nice but I got motivation to write from that of Talon's. Here in Lagos, I decided to attend DOMINION CITY church till the end of my IT program. Two Sundays ago, the pastor of the parish gave an exhortation on the the word VALUES. The way this pastor preaches is as if there is a vast ocean of knowledge where he just fetches from and distributes to the congregation. He started by saying 'MONEY IS NOT WEALTH'. Immediately he said that, everywhere was quite and we all paid serious attention to understand what he meant by that. He defined Money as an entity or legally issued material that can be used to exchange or acquire goods and services. Now, money on its own is useless, meaning that paper on it on is valueless can not do anything, because it is mere paper or any other synthetic material. The real wealth or riches you have is the values you have. These values come in different dimensions. These are Services: Those things you can give to people. The pastor made a striking point here. He said people are poor because they are selfish. The beginning of poverty is having a mindset of me, I and myself. Selfish people are not ready to do anything for anyone and would not see the need to assist others and make live easy for them. Innovators are those who have to sit down and think of ways of making new things in order to make things easier for people. Thus, they are giving there knowledge or wisdom in form of values which you have to purchase and acquire using money. You see the more services or values you are able to create, the greater level of wealth you can acquire. Even God pays you for any service you render in his kingdom. Some people may have the capability to do some things or even invent something new but they won't cos of this mindset of ' I want people to serve me, I can serve others'. Have you not heard what Jesus said in Matthew 23:11 that 'he who must be the greatest must first be the sreva t of all'. The pastor went on to make another point regarding services. He said 'do you know Yahoo-plusers (as he calls it. Yahoo plus is the term given to riches gotten from rituals and fetish means. Those involved may be into internet frauds) are never rich. Yes, they may have millions or billions in their account but they were never rich. They only cornered and claimed money that were not theirs through illegal means but because they don't have values to sustain those riches, it all fades away and they return back to square one of even lower. The devil gives them the supposed wealth and makes sure to give them enough problems to take the riches from them. Now, they but houses, cars, etc and maybe start doing drugs and will lose everything they have gathered to that. I have seen this played out before. So, create wealth instead of looking for money. Someone thought of making a digital fiat currency that will easy transaction and increase decentralization of money. That's person (Nakamoto) made his own wealth through that. Your own maybe services you will rendered for people, and so on.' Values: Another point the pastor made here is values create values. Value in this sense is Incorporated in the human characters and behaviors. The intrinsic and extrinsic values embedded in humans can create values and wealth for one. My friend @Aimure and I were discussing sometimes ago and he said 'people want to be around me or people would not want to lose me not because they necessarily like me but because they need me' (I'm paraphrasing it). Hence the value you exhibit will determine the group of people around you and whether or not people who are willing to pay for values will stick with you. I will stop here. But note that you have to develop values for and in yourself. Don't let anyone put you down. Move with people that will add values to your life. If you are always leading in your group then I think it's high time you left that group because for you to increase in values you need competition and high level groups and you won't get it in that group where you are always leading. This made me remember an incident that happened when I was little. My mum was a strict disciplinarian and she would stop at nothing to discipline her children. She gave a specific order to I and my sister not to go out ( because she doesn't want us to get influenced by the corrupting neighborhood and also protect us to rampaging kidnappers). I have always observed this (and I think that's what shapen me to become an introvert). One day, a friend of mine from the next house called me to join him in doing some stunts at the front of his house. I couldn't rejected it 'cos I was (and still is) a lover of stunts. Without hesitation I ran out of the house, straight into his compound and started performing all sort of stunts I could do. Then trying to do a no-hand backflip with a double twist in the air, I landed on my wrist and the excruciating pain was enough to send me home. On getting home, I couldn't tell my sister what happened fearing she might expose me, so I quietly groaning and try to straighten the wrist by placing a stick on top and one below the wrist then tie it with a rope. I guess my biology class paid off 😄 When my sister saw it, she asked what the sticks are for and all I could say was "I am Spiderman!"😂🤣 I started do a the Spiderman's stuff just to convince her. She just stood at a point and looked at me for sometime before hissing and walked away. I really don't think she was convinced rather I think she left because she was tired of my madness. Phew! I won that round I said to myself. Then from a distance I could hear the TV station announcing the 3 o'clock news. I was destabilized because I knew my mom was going to be home any moment from then as she closes from work at 4 and will take her around 5 to 5:30 to reach home. You should have seen the various wishes crossing my mind, thank God wishes are not horses as @Aimure as written. At one point I wished I was doctor strange, at another I wished I was Naruto yet at another I wished I was a werewolf so I can heal quickly. While I was still in my fantasy world trying to see which character will solve my case the most, I heard my sister shouted 'welcome ma'. Lo and behold, my Nemesis had arrived. I quickly removed the sticks and rope and dumped them at one corner and ran to meet my mom. I greeted her and to add to my problem, she was carrying heavy loads of foodstuff. I didn't know what to do. My mom had to shout at me for me to regain posture and try to collect the bags from her. I screamed in pain when the bag landed on my hand. My mom asked what the problem was and I quickly cooked up a nice lie to cover up. You see, our parents most times, know what is going on but they would prefer you tell them yourself. My mom kept quite and entered. A Few minutes to that time, shw went to the kitchen and called me to come help her cut some vegetables, I wanted blatantly say no, but I knew that would incure beating of the highest order. So I quietly went over to the tray sluggishly picked some vegetable leaves and tried to cut them. I was in so much pain. Meanwhile, my mom had stopped what she was doing and was just looking at me. She asked me again "what happened to you?" Forgetting what I had told her before, I hesitated a bit then cooked up another story. She laughed and clapped her hands. Then with a sudden yet well organised slap she asked me what happened to my hand. The force and speed with which I confess my sins was surprising and overwhelming even for me. It was later, I got to know that a neighbor had actually told her all that happened (all those lousy neighbors ehh) and she had replied with 'well, a child will always be a child. It's okay if it is the next door neighbors they play with'. I was like so I could have prevented all the slaps and bearing if I had told the truth from the beginning. Anyways, that's my own story. Though not every event concerning saying the truth will attract a slap or a beating, it might even be rejection by friends and family or worse being labelled a witch or bad person all because you say the truth, just remember what John Ruskin said **'*****He who has truth at his heart need never fear the want of persuasion on his tongue.'*** Take on the nature of truth and become freed. ***To be continued...*** Thanks for reading this article. First WL, NFTs and first day without stress Waking up without rush or the persistent knock at the door by my group representative, is really the first in a very long time. Today been Saturday was supposed to be a day of cleaning and special cooking for me, but I decided to rather have the rest my body needs. Just as @meitanteikudo wrote, rest is supreme! I slightly opened my eyes and could see the ray of light peeping through my window. I checked the time on my phone, it was 6:54 AM. I just quietly covered my head and went back to sleep. 30 mins or thereabout, I got woken up again by the chattering of my roommates. I took that to be my cue to get up from the bed. I checked my WhatsApp for messages. Read and answered those I could. I open my read.cash and commented on some post. I couldn't write article in the morning cause I couldn't even think of anything to write on. Then I and my roommates started deliberating on what to ear that morning. We have been craving for beans for some days now, so we just quickly opted in to cook it today. I was to cook the food while they clean up the room. I went to the kitchen and started cooking. It was there I remembered that I hadn't even said my prayers. I was a bit disappointed at myself but not for long because I know I wouldn't do that on a normal day. I quickly said some prayers and went on with my cooking. I and my friends joked around for sometime and before long, my beans was ready. I brought it in and set it down for everyone in my room to serve themselves. I was he first to serve, and I didn't really took much thinking I'd have something to eat in the afternoon. I later went to sleep around 12 or so. Waking, I went to the pot to take my lunch, Lo and behold, it was empty. Those consuming roommates of mine has cleared the pot to the bottom. You could have imagine the shocked and anger on my face. I was even more shocked when one turned to me and said 'I AM HUNGRY, WHAT'S FOR LUNCH?'. I just had to ignore the question and go fix myself a little something to eat. Every other thing just went the way they used to be. Thinking of what to write was a bit tough, though I had a topic i wanted to write on before but I can't write it today, not now. Two long weeks Hello friends. I've been away from read.cash for a day now and I can't really say my head is in the game anymore. This is largely due to the day to day stress and starvation I face as I undergo my IT program. I came to Lagos some weeks ago, and though the landscape and buildings are nice and fascinating, yet the journey from my hostel to where I am supposed to receive lectures is undeniably time consuming and pain inflicting. As if that was not enough, the constant harsh words and subtle bully encountered from the supposed IT coordinator is, to say the least, discouraging. Today was not different. We let home early, like about 5:15 AM, and got to our lecture centre at past 7 AM. I was actually happy that today's journey to the centre didn't take long and thought our coordinator would be pleased and, in a sense, become reasonable with us. Instead, it turned out she already had some else planned for us. Today was what you can call 'a day of outpouring of emotion' cause the coordinator literally turned us to a dumping site for abuses. She even insulted me for smiling ☹️ As if that was not enough, she made sure to give us low marks. All this vexation is due to the single fact that someone amongst us went to report her to our school authorities and told them that we haven't had any real practical. To keep the story short, I am really worn out and tired. I couldn't eat anything since morning but had to fix a light meal for me and my roommates this evening. It's really shocking how two weeks can turn out to be energy draining and frustrating. Anyways, I have just two more weeks to go and I'd be done with this place. I actually want to write on something totally different, but I guess that would be tomorrow. Thanks for being there for me always. Better than my yesterday Good evening oh ye intelligentsia of this great community. Hope your day was stress free. I will not forget to happily and joyfully greet everyone a Happy New month. For those of us looking for a turn around this year, this month is our month of perfection. There is this Bible passage I love and it Isaiah 40:31 Isaiah 40:29-31 [29]He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. [30]Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: [31]But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. It is a clear declaration of God's ever present help and strength for us, cos even when we get weary and tired, there is an assurance of strength and agility stored in God for us. So fret not, take it easy and relax because you will definitely be better than your yesterday! I strongly believe that not purpose driven human would want to remain where he or she was sometimes ago. Even the Bible says: come up hither! This new month apart from being a month of new beginnings and refreshment, it is also a month to re-strategize and to plan. You should be experiencing growth and if there is any area that you are experiencing stagnancy or undesired growth rate, determine to change that. I will stop there for now. A word they say is enough for the wise. My boss used to say something. He would say; There are 3 types of people in a celebration ground. 1. Those who are been celebrated and given trophies. 2. Those who came to celebrate those that are been celebrated. 3. Those that just find themselves there and have no clue if what is happening. In my own little way I advise I'd say go for the first class. Alright guys, that's it for tonight. I am really exhausted from today's journey. We spent spent close to 6 hours on the road due to Lagos traffic when going in the morning and had to spent another 3 hours on road when coming in the evening. Jesus wept Happy Sunday to you dear readizen. hope you enjoyed every bit of the service as I did mine. I joined the LIVING FAITH CHAPEL (AKA WINNERS/ LOVEWORLD) for worship today and got the opportunity to see that grew man of God, the person of Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder and general overseer of Living faith church world wide. It is indeed an honour to see and learn under such mighty giant in the Christendom (though my best MOG and secret mentor is Apostle Joshua Selman. I love him with the love of God). I had to travel from Lagos state to Ogun state to attend that service and I didn't regret going there. On our way back, the driver that took us to the venue gave us a quick tour round Lagos. (P.S: the transport fare and feeding were taken care of by the church. All of us that attended the service spend no dine on transport or food!) We went to Lagos Highland, Maryland, etc. I had thought I had seen the beauty of Lagos but this tour made me realize that Nigeria and Africa as a whole have all it takes to transform from a third world country to a first world country in a matter of 2 to 3 years but our leaders and other extremely wealthy people in the society would rather embezzle and stash the country funds into another country and invest in an already developed country. They don't sit to think of it this way that they are only running to that country, either for relaxation, treatment or anything, because those in that country vowed and put in their effort to make their country a better place. Taking Israel for example, a small country with lots of internal and external crisis endured it all and vowed to protect the integrity of their nation and to make their nation great. While I was on the bus, an event that happened in he Bible came across my mind and I thought it needful to share it on this platform. It is a well known fact that there is this portion of the Bible to talked about Jesus weeping and that is John 11:35. If you read the story, you will be able to deduce that it was compassion that made Jesus weep. But that is not the only place that was recorded that Jesus wept! Luke 19:41-44 [41]And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, [42]Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. [43]For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, [44]And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. So, there it is. Jesus wept two times in the Bible. One as I have said is because of compassion and Love, the other is because of the ignorant of some people! You see, we live in a world where the amount of respect, honour, power, and rich or wealth you will get is tied to what you know! Some countries are even called first worlds or world powers not really because of their sizes or color but because of what they know. And that application of this knowledge gave them an edge over all other countries and eventually resulting in stability and giant statures for them. As a Christian also, you rise and fall based on the amount of kingdom information available to you. let's take for an example: a boss at your work place just suddenly walks up to you one day and said 'Mr. A I am going to make life difficult for you in this establishment and eventually sack you'. You will see so many people running hether and Skether trying to see how best they can please that man and remove his anger far away for them. Yes it's good to seek peace with all men, no one is disputing that, but in a situation where the boss is asking for an Herculean or impossible task eg $3x with you, what do you do? Will you go ahead and give him what he needs? Never! Remember the Bible says for he that comes from heaven is first and above all things, and remember the only person that has been able to do this is Jesus Christ (John 3:13). Also, the Bible says we are sitted in heaven with Christ in God. Hence, you are from heaven and above all! (1 Peter 2:9) So, you can command all things to become as you want, like a script writer removing the scenes he doesn't like and creating those that favour him. For it is written: the earth is of the Lord's and the fullness thereof; the world and those that dwell therein (psalm 24:1). Hence, you are a God the earth and should not be lacking in deliverance, power and grace. What we see is fear, brokenness, pain, insecurity, famine, death, several sicknesses and so on happening and gaining ground in the society. Hear me, it is good to pray, it is good to fast, but above all understanding is priceless! proverb chapter 1-8 talks expressly about the importance of wisdom. These chapters even told us to bind as costly jewelries them on our necks and as armulet on our foreheads. The call to seek for knowledge and understanding those not only ends in growing our faith and relationships with God or to walk in the supernatural, etc, but it is also applicable to the things of the world. it is applicable in finance, education, family upbringing, unity, greatness, Excellency and so on and so forth. Before I stop for tonight cause I m really dizzy now, Never settle for half knowledge! Listen, it is better to be completely ignorant than to be half way wise. Does the Bible not even tell us that the time of ignorance God has over look, but it says for that servant that knows his master's will and doeth it not, he shall be punished severely. So, in you quest to grow In the knowledge of God, don't stop until you have gotten the whole truth of his word. For ye shall know the truth (and if it is truly the true), it shall set you free. (John 8:32) Before I stop, another statement caught my eyes: "because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation." This is a very serious statement from the Lord Jesus that every believer should endeavour to keep in his or her mind at all time. Be vigilant, Be watchful - 1 Peter 4:7 End Note: A really wise man is who whom after studying the word of God or the principles of greatness is able to apply them. So read, study and apply. This is a Continuation of the article I started some days ago. I had in the previous article tried to take us through reasons why people make certain choices and some factors influencing choice making. One the comment said 'we should never let people opinion affect our way of reasoning and making choices'- @Aimure , and I totally agree with it. Back when I was in secondary school, this was this easy textbook we used to have. We would be given a certain topic to write with the exact words that should end it e.g 'all that glitters is not gold'. There was this popular one at that time **'I had know, I would have this or that'.** As I am writing this article, I can see the pure fallacy and untruthfulness in that statement! We all as the *homo sapien* obviously know that our actions have consequences. We are aware that there can be no break in the cycle of karma. The Ying and Yang fundamentals can not be cheated hence there must be balance and stability. The choices you make will surely have it own consequences. You trying to offset it is trying to cheat and believe me, you will be checkmated! This all happened after a neighbor had first had his way with the poor girl. The mother, though knowing the true story, decided to keep her man and send away the poor girl to a brothel. The girl ended up been used for prostitution. The one day, the neighbour, who was doing well before, came to the brothel were the girl worked and bribe the brothel owner to give him the girl as his sex mate for the night. On seeing the man, the girl was really upset and wanted to get out of the room. The man immediately went on his knees to beg for forgiveness stating that things had become really tight for him and his once blooming business is now almost dead. He continued that he went to an herbalist shrine and on getting there, the man told him that there was a girl he had forcefully had a carnal knowledge of and that this was the cause of his problem. The solution been that he has to go back to the girl and beg her for forgiveness and she must whole heartedly forgive him for him to prosper again. He added that 'had he known, he would not have done what he did'. And that's where the untruthfulness lies. He did know that what he was doing was wrong and unacceptable, destroying a young girl's future to satisfy your burning lust. He knew he mustn't be caught doing such, hence, ensured he firmly locked the door and covered the girl's mouth. You see, thieves and criminals are sorry not really because they have a chance of hear but because they are caught! Remember he had the opportunity to choose the right one but he went for the other one instead. You can see for yourself the result the choice a man is making on the whole world right now, that is the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, on his attack against Ukraine. Even though he might be against Ukraine becoming a member of the NATO (which is reasonable anyways since the US government may use that as an opportunity to spy in on the military activities of Russia and also build up military armoury and offensive strategies in the Russian border, all under the guise of protecting the interest of one of its own), he still wasn't suppose to invade Ukraine and reck havoc on innocent lives and properties. Over 137 Ukrainians including military personnel are reportedly dead in wake of the first attack on the Ukraine soil. Putin should please come to order and stop this senseless war on his brother nation. Let him choose the right and leave the wrong. This is also applicable to each and every one of us. So, next time you are choosing a choice concerning any matter, please pick the right ones no matter the circumstances. Be truthful first to yourself then to others this will enable you pick the right choice. Remember that for every choice you make there is a consequence to bear. Nigerian institute of oceanography and marine research. Howdy readizens. I have been really busy this days. I barely even have time for myself. My plan to write atleast an article as been broken due to the phase 2 of my IT. I have really missed my friends the likes of @BCH_LOVER , @Talon , @Aimure , @Kushyzee , @Bilqees , and you, yeah You! We traveled down to Lagos on Monday and made mention of it in the article I wrote that day which is the choices we made. I was supposed to continue it today but I can't write now. We arrived at Lagos on Monday and our first lecture was supposed to be yesterday which was supposed to hold at NIOMR headquarters, but couldn't due to transport problem. So we had our lecture at the other branch. It was a bit interesting as I saw some few new things. This morning, we left for the headquarters. While we were coming to Lagos most of us we actually disappointed because we didn't see what we have all heard of Lagos. But passing going to Victoria island (VI), It kind of fulfilled our expectations. Lagos is truly a nice and beautiful place to live in. I also got to witness the popular Lagos traffic jam. The buildings were well arranged and beautifully built. Reaching NIOMR headquarters, we were welcomed by our coordinator and were later directed to receive our first lecture there. To be really honest, it lived up to my expectations, or even beyond. Nigeria is truly blessed but we need God fearing leaders and good citizens to help actualise the goal of making Nigeria the true giant of African. Our first lecture was held in the fish technology department. Our anchor was DR. Femi, a very intelligent, funny and highly innovative Christian. I really enjoyed his class. He kinda open my eyes to see the vast opportunities in fisheries. Believe me there is nothing as good as meeting one who can challenge you to do better! In fish tech department, we were shown some machines such as: the canning machines, pre-cooking machine, showering machines, oven,etc. He narrated us some amazing adventures and projects he had embarked upon and they were indeed wonderful. That man made me stood up and almost walked out of the class two to three times. The lecture there was not quite long. We will continue the lectures tomorrow. When it was time to go back home, we called our driver to come pick us up only for him to tell us his bus is faulty hence he won't be able to come pick us up. That was around 2 Pm. We had to trek down to law school to go get another bus to take us home. It took about 40 mins or so to walk there and also get another bus. We fimally got home around 6:40pm. Getting home, I was extremely tired. Thank God for my roommate, he had bought some *fufu.* I had to eat that and as I am now I am still very tired. The choices we make ***A beautiful afternoon to you dear readers. I believe you all are doing okay. I have been off for a day or two due to the power outage to at occured in my area. I really wanted to write but couldn't find anywhere to charge my phone. As it is now, I am going to have to get a power bank to keep being online.*** Life is a choice. I also had a thought of things some people have done and things they didn't. Then I came to this conclusion that truly **life is a choice**. You choose what you want, how you want it and when you want it. I know many of us are probably aware of this phrase, but I'd like you to really think about it and let the words sink down into your heart. It is then you will truly see that what you have and what you don't is a ctually a product of some choices or should I say decisions you made sometimes ago. The actions you have taken and those you wish you had taken are all the results of the choices you made. You still being a loving being today is actually as a result of the choice your parents made and also that which you continually make day by day. To live is a choice, to die is a choice. Even the man on a death sentence row could have made the choice to stay clean and legal but chose to go against the law of the land. So, let this be at the back of your mind whenever you are able to do or think about anything that you have a choice. I remember a time someone ask me for an advice, though it was on a joking matter, I gave what I though as right but it turns out it to be the other way. Then the person turned and jokingly said 'see what you have caused now. You made me chose the wrong one'. I also jokingly replied ' it was all your choice o. I only gave an advice o'. Though it was a joke, but so it is in real life. That friend never mislead you, you had the choice to pick other thing but you chose his/her own option! Take for example a Boko Haram memeber will always ascertain that he is in the wrong while his victims are in the wrong based on what lecture or whatever brainwashing ideas they have giving him. He does have a choice to say No, but the his desires!!! **Peer pressure:** friends are one major influencers of our actions. When I say friends, I mean both the physical and the internet or virtual ones! They give us their own opinions about a matter and we check it with our mindsets and passion. Then we choose. Remember you can make friends based on the kind of person you are. Hence, your friend's advise will be acceptable to you atleast 85% of the total times he/she gives you. I have posted an article on friends that matters sometimes ago, you can read it here. **Background**: The backgrounds we come from, the kind of family we are born into and the kind of informal education these have given us all sum together affects our decisions. Take for example, a person from a ghetto is most likely to chose to become a rugged person with vile character. The better the background the better the choices to be made. **Note: This does not in away means that all the people from ghetto will become bad and all the people from good homes will become good. It is in a most likely situation. I have seen pastor's children becoming evil**. So once again, it all boils down to your secret desires. The circumstances of the event: circumstances are part of those things influencing our choices. 45% of the choices we make are based on the circumstances surrounding the event. This friend is someone that minds his business and has had no girlfriend since 100 level, apart from one that didn't last a 2 weeks, and now he is in 400 level which is his final year.. He not an introvert neither an extrovert. Let just say he is in his own world 😄 some weeks ago, a female classmate of his walked up to him and confess what her feelings for him and told him he has been eyeing him since 300 level. She asked if my friend didn't recognize her, my friend said not really. Then everything went the way he did and they both started dating. It was actually going on smoothly. My friend started going to bed late, burn airtime and started going those things people in relationship do. We both though he has finally found the right person for him. The girl was not demanding, she would even tell not to spend so much on her and would even offer to settle the bills whenever they go for an outing. Long story short, the break up saga started yesterday after the Valentine's day. My friend called this girl and she was sounding really weird on the phone. She didn't pick the call at first then later did. They were supposed to actually see each other in school that day but due to the ASUU strike, my friend couldn't go to meet her. I initially thought that was the cause of her reaction on the phone. I told my friend to be calm and try to apologise to the girl if she brings the matter up cos in the real sense he was guilty since they had both agreed to meet before. This morning before leaving for school, my friend told me the girl sent him a message saying she still loves him but she will be going with another. He asked the reason for this, it was this evening the girl responded. The girl is the paying for her tuition fee and also taking care of her younger sisters. There is this customer of hers who told her late last month that she can help her expand her business (she sells bread on a semi-large scale and she's hoping on having her own bakery some day) if she's ready to pay the price. The price is for her to marry her son. The girl confessed to my friend that she had initially liked the guy but that she loved my friend more. Her decision now is she wants to go ahead with the marriage and begging my friend to still become her lover or at least friends with benefits. My friend rejected that idea saying he can share his loved with anyone it is either she picked him or pick the other guy. Anyways, the matter is still on ground with the girl saying she hasn't really gotten clarification as to what her next course of action would be. I personally was shocked at the turn of even and mostly pained that the cause of this ruckus is money. The girl know deep within her that she loves this my friend (she said she doesn't want to lose my friend but that she needs the marriage to work out) deeply and has barely known the other guy less than a month. So one would sell off her life time in exchange for money? She doesn't know what kind of a person the other guy is but yet she is willing to hand over her fate and will to him all because of what she *might* get there. Liking this to Judas, he had Jesus (the best anyone can get), he knew who he was. In fact Judas came from the family as Jesus. He has tasted power and divine authority through Jesus. Yet he would later settle down and bargain with the Pharisee to sell Jesus for 30000 pieces of silver! This guy knew who Jesus was, he knew if Jesus ever gets to know he might curse him or worse still angels might strike him dead. He knew Jesus was the solution to many people's suffering but still chose to sell him! Wow, what won't humans do for their own gain? I can't really point fingers at him after all, most of us are still like that today, choosing other things above the Saviour. Some chose their feelings (anger, jealousy, pain or joy) above God. Some choose wealth and perishable riches, while other still choose family and friends over him. In the light of this, **the brethren Judas has acquired are without numbers.** So many started their Christian journey so well. They used to believe and trust God for everything. But now, they have gotten this strange knowledge that it is human that lifts humans up, which is true anyways but you will be foolish to rely on humans. If you are in this case, no one is saying you shouldn't become successful but Never let the world and the things in it take you away from your creator. Friends that matters 2 Good evening 🌞 friends. Hope your day went well today? Mine did actually. I woke up with this positivity in my mind. I guess that's what they call 'waking on the right side of the bed' lol. I went to school and things went well in a sum summary. But no! There is no entitlements in friendship. Infact, expecting your friend to do this or that for you just because you are friends will only lead to your disappoinment. Yes, your friends should help and rise for your help, they should have your back, they should ensure your absolute safety, but don't expect it! And that's why you should choose your friends carefully. If you have good friends, you won't need to ask or even expect. They will always be there for you. No matter the type of friends you have, if you don't learn to reciprocate their gestures or be there for them, then don't expect a thing. Even if you do all these, I'd still say don't expect anything because human will always be human. Important In choosing your friend, note the following; Never choose a friend based on; What you will get from him/her. In nut shell, that is not making friends that's being selfish. You being insincere and a fraud. The end result is always bad and full of disgrace especially when you offend or hurt them. Affluence or influence. As good as choosing an influencial person as friend is, if that's your major reason of choosing him/her, then be prepared for pain. This is because you will want to keep yourself in the good book of such person, thereby hurting yourself and doing uncomfortable things. Then when you offend such, you can guess the result. Class and extravagant lifestyle. People's opinions and peer pressure. Like I said, **choose your friends.** Randomly. Don't just allow anybody become your friend. Study them, find out if you have anything in common, engage them in deep conversation and try to find out who they really are. If they suit or pass your criteria of making friends, then you are good to go. Become a good friend today As good as having a good friend is nothing beats becoming one yourself. So check the list below to see if you are doing all of some of the things written there to become a good friend Stand up for your friends. Defend their interest. Be supportive. Be their good adviser. Listen more and try to feel their pain and get their point then give your best advise. Watch out for them. Work for their growth and success. Friendship is not able talking or sharing secrets, it's also about becoming part of their success story. Neve ever leak your friend's secret. Never Ever! Surprise them with gifts and love. Give constructive criticism when you should. Never ever keep quiet or side them when they are doing the wrong thing. Reprove them but do it with Love. Do not convert what belongs to them. I mean what of a friend does that? Lastly, make them remember and serve their creator. True friends don't take people from God but rather they bring them to him. Friends that matters Howdy friends. Guess your week as been going great. Happy weekend to you all. I have been on the low key this week. Staying home all alone, re-evaluating some decisions and friendships, and trying as much as possible to avoid unnecessary relationship or chatting with some people. Yeah that's right. I guess it's high time I cut some people off. Someone once said: `"some people are a blessing to you, some make your life complete others are there to keep you in check and motivate you while yet some are there to drag you down. In all this, know when to leave some people"` Truth is you own no one the right to be their friends. Infact, friendship is not something that should just happen, it should be deliberate, mutual and consciously done. This brings us to a question: **Who is a friend?** I look forward to reading your answers in the comment section You choose your friend. Hence, there are some friends that really does matters. They are there to pull you up, they are there to keep you going, they are there to serve as backbone for you, better still some are there for reprove, remoulding and an instructor. You see, we do hear it all over that the type of friend we keep matters a lot, but we need to let it sink down into our minds and thinking faculties that they really do matters. You can become helped or lifted by the friends also you can become pulled down, destroyed or make miserable but the kind of friends you make. There is an adage that says 'They will change you if you can't change them' but I will say, don't even join them In the very first place. Know when to leave There is an adage in my language (yourba) that says 'ogun omo ko le sere fun ogun odun' translation: ' twenty children won't play for twenty years'. There is a time for everything under the heaven so says the preacher, a time to gather stones and a time to cast away stones, a time to embrace and a time refrain from embracing. If you are a person that knowns when to let certain people and certain friendship go, your life will be made stress free, less complicated and almost perfect. But when you don't know who and when to let go, you keep falling into the hands of wrong friends, get caught in all kinds of mess and you may end up losing more than you can ever gain; your **peace.** Making friends or friendship in the term is not a ' do or die' affair. As I have said it is a choice. But you must learn to know when to leave certain persons or friends. You must know and be able to discern which friend gets to stay and which ones gets to go. You need to take up your hoe and weed away some unwanted and unprofitable friends. Before you can do this, you must first have and know your self worth. So many people are in a relationship because they just can determine their own self worth. They feel I can't do it myself, I can't be recognized if this person isn't there, they feel worthless when a set of people are not there with them. No! This shouldn't be. Have you not heard what the Bible says about you that you are fearfully and wonderfully created. **You are a master piece! It means you have no replacement.** So, you can be all you want. So, don't think you become stranded and useless of you leave a certain relationship especially when that friendship is toxic and ungodly or morally bankrupt. Do you now leave any relationship whenever you feel like or do now become arrogant to friends and start treating them like they are useless? No, you will be a fool to do that. Instead, you will have to really evaluate your friendship with another person then determine whether it's time to leave or stay. Need a friend? Become one. Need a friend? Become one Yeah, we all dream to have that friend that is like our reflection or better still our better part. A friend we can rely on, a friend can seek help from, a friend that can be there for us, a friend that loves us for who we are. But better than all this, you can become that friend that is irreplaceable to someone else. You can become some else's pillar, you can become someone else's strength, you can become someone else's adviser, you can become someone Else's better part. For these and much more are what makes up a friend. So, do you need a friend? Why not become one. Go to that person that in dire need of good friend, or help or advice and become their friend. Note, ***you can only receive as much as you give*** Some people ask themselves this question: why are bad friends attracted to me? Why are friends just so wicked towards me? Well, the answer is: maybe you yourself have been a bad friend! So why not make a point of duty to stand up and become a friend someone would appreciate and thank God for. Make up your mind to become someone's prayer answer for a true and sincere friendship. A and B farm. *hello fams. Good morning from this side.* I woke this morning feeling a little bit down for no reason (I guess I woke up at the wrong side of the bed). Then a friend of mine called me and she really lit up my countenance. You know, some people really know how to bring smile on your face. So, I regained my posterity and got up from my bed. Thinking of what to do, I decided to write on read.cash. So I will be sharing my experience at A and B farm where I went to do my Industrial training (IT). A and B farm We started the program on the second of January. We actually resumed the farm on the third. The farm is a privately-owned establishment. The CEO of the farm is Mr. Ikechukwu. He retired from Chevron group of companies. He is also a pastor. Landscape and sectors The farm is situated on a slopy landscape. This Is actually well planned as it ensures easy drainage of water and wastes. It is also good for the fish farm sector of the farm. The farm is located far away from the main community. This is to ensure safety and reduce complaint from neighbors. The farm is divided into three sectors: the milling sector, the poultry sector and the fish farm sector. The milling sector is situated at the entrance of the farm. This is where all the feed are been made. The milling sector of the farm is well equipped with various machines and equipment to ensure production of feed. There are two large mixers which are directly linked to two big crushers respectively. There are also mechanical scales, lifters, commercial driers, pelleting machines, fish feed mixers etc. Going to the poultry section. There are at least 10 buildings erected for the poutry. The layers unit have three building with two being a three storey building. Each Halls of the storey building has bird holding capacity of above 5100. The layers unit is well equipped with effective water circulatory system using nipples connected to pipes. There are also sheds made specially for day old chicks. In the layers units, there are battery cages made of units with 15 cells each. There are 95 units in a row and 190 units in total. Each cell contains 3 to 4 fowls. About 500 to 700 crates of eggs are collected from each hall everyday giving a total of 3500 to 4900 crates of eggs everyday. When I was there, the farm was supplied with 13500 layer chicks. So this gave me an opportunity to witness them being vaccinated against bird flu and Newcastle diseases through the eye hole vaccination. It was quite fun and educative working in that unit. Moving to the fish sector, the farm has 9 wide earthen ponds, 3 large oceanic ponds and about 15 to 20 concrete tanks. The farm has it own hatchery unit were fries are been produced for restocking. It was fun all the way from the start to the finish of my IT program at A and B farm. This money in agriculture, an I believe there are still many hidden gems and innovations that is yet to be discovered in agriculture. So, that's all for now friends. Hope to write soon. Kayode, the closing Hello readizens, hope you are all doing fine. I have been away for some days now, due to fact that I did have data subscription to login and write. I even had to do night plan on MTN to be able to update and finish this episode. Hopefully I'd get some money to subscribe to a data plan. Ok, to the matter of the day, this is the last episode on KAYODE. I hope you have all learnt a lesson or two from the previous once. Here is the concluding part, read and enjoy😊 Kayode, the final battle. The prayer start at 12am with praise and worship. About 37 mins into the worship section, all of sudden, the whole room was filled with smoke and voices. Kayode couldn't stand anymore. He fell down to the ground and laid weak, all he could feel was cold sensations running down his body from head to toe. Little by little, he was able to open his eyes. He saw his spiritual mother fight and exchanging words with an unseen personality. Just like a flash, he saw them. He saw those responsible for his misfortune and pains. He saw his stepmother covered in red and black attire with what he latter came to understand as stars on her shoulders. There were others with her but she seemed to be the leader. Kayode's spiritual mother had evoke he presence of the Lord and the angels of the Lord had already descended and fighting with cohorts of Kayode's stepmother. With a loud voice, Kayode's stepmother shouted 'Enough!'. She then faces the spiritual mother and said 'this isn't your fight, just pack your Bible and leave this place this minute. We are after kayode not you, so why should you make his case yours. For the last time, pack your things and leave'. The spiritual mother replied her saying ' well, you made it my case the moment you allowed him to come to me. Of a truth, this battle is not mine neither is it his. This battle is of the Lord's and he shall conquer thee today' The stepmother was so furious and said 'you foolish woman who do you even think you are? Do you know what I have done to be this stage? And you are here trying to stop me from completing the finally rite that will seal my success in getting to the position of the grand Queen. I made his father an imbecile by taking control of his brain and will. I have already taken all that is his. I sacrificed Kayode's elder sister thinking she was the most glorious one. But I have been informed that Kayode's glory is 20times bigger than his sister's and I have to sacrifice him to get to the grand Queen position. Now woman, stay clear from this matter hence, you shall become collateral damage!' the spiritual mother burst into laughter. The hysterical laugher lasted for about 3mins. Then she stop laughing and immediately frowned her face. She started quoting some Bible verses. All of a sudden she shouted aloud ' it is written; to who is he that has said a thing when the Lord has not said it? Who is it that has decree a thing when the Lord has not published it? For it is written thus says the Lord; gather yourselves together you evil doers and ye shall be scattered, gather and you will surely be scattered, speak it will not come to pass so sayeth that Lord. Therefor by the power in the name of Jesus Christ by the reason of the blood of the lamb, I come you wicked woman and your cohorts to catch fire and burn to death in Jesus name!!! Like the explosion of an atomic bomb, there was a sudden there was a mighty shaking and a bright light covered the room, from inside came fiercely burning fire and descended on the stepmother and her members. There was a shouting and scream from the occult side. After some minutes later there was silence except for the spiritual mother that was singing and glorifying God for the victory won. Slow and weakly, kayode rose from the ground and manage to touch the woman. The woman held his hands and started praying restoration prayers for him. After sometime, Kayode was able to stand on his feet again. He asked the woman what has happened but she replied him by saying ' relax my son. The storm is over!' The next morning, kayode received a phone calling from his father begging him for his forgiveness and told him that he didn't know what came over him. He said he come to himself that morning when he woke up and saw a severely burnt woman lying by his side. It was then all dawned on him. He had sent the woman's children out of the house and has rectified the will. He begged him to come back home so they could life as family again. After the call kayode was full with Joy. He sang and danced around the house. He even called his sister's and told them the good news. Today, kayode and his family are going well. He is now the CEO of a big company with it branches all over Nigeria. He is married to a beautiful woman and blessed with four kid. Kayode. A true life story (part 2) Holla friends, welcome back to my channel. Apology for posting this late, some really weird stuff happened yesterday and I had to get myself out of a mess, hence the delay. Anyways since we are here let's move to the job of the day.🤗 **Kayode** ' Am I not doomed for misfortune now? The Pastor says I mustn't leave Becky whereas she is the one tormenting and limiting my progress. Oh Lord what's happening?!'. Kayode was soliloquizing. He was apparently frustrated and confused. I mean, who won't be? It continued for some months and instead of things to get better, it grew worse. It grew so worse to the point that he had to start going to his stepmother to get food to eat. Then one day, Rita came to visit Kayode and was like 'what in the world has happened to you? You look like a walking dead man'. Kayode then explained all he was going to and Rita directed him to her spiritual mother. On getting there, Kayode just jumped straight to the discussion and explained all that has happened to him and the pastor's instructions. The woman said she can do anything unless they pray. She prayed for him and gave him some selected Bible verses and some war winning prayer points. On getting home, Kayode started the prayer points and continued for some days. On one night, the same girl came to him in his dream and started oppressing him and saying he cannot get away from him. He began prayer in the dream quoting Bible passages and shouting the name of Jesus. The girl ran away and started screaming. She then ran to a woman whose back can only be seen and scream 'mother, I am losing him, he is getting freed!!'. The woman calmed her down and said she will take it over from there that the girl as done enough. After that dream things got a little bit better for Kayode. He never for one day stopped praying. He made sure he visited the spiritual mother at least 3 times a week. The woman gave him another prayer points and Bible verses to help him completely overcome. He started using this to war. One day a woman can to him and told him that he wants him to draw the portrait of her children. She gave him a blank check and told him to write any amount on it. Instantly his instinct told him not to accept the job. He declined and left. Lo and behold it was all fake as the woman was sent to trap him and frame him with theft and assault. Breakthrough After a very long and intense prayer one night, the same woman appeared in his dream and was really angry and foaming with danger. But suddenly a powerful hand turned her to face Kayode. Kayode saw the far of the source of his power, he saw the big anchor anchoring and stabilizing problems and battles in his life. Kayode was shocked because it was not an enemy he knew physically, but it was a person he eats with, a person that advises him, a person that even prays and wish him well. It turned out to be his stepmother!!! Kayode was speechless. All he could say was blood of Jesus! The woman told him frantically that 'the battle line as been drawn'. He woke up he around 2:34 am in the midnight with all his bed soaked with swear and him visibly shaking. He called his spiritual mother and told him of the new development and they both prayed together. In the morning, kayode sat on the bed and kept thinking of his dream. Then, the dots start connecting. His father used to be a kind and listening father but since he married her, she has practically become the head of the father with the father just a decorative figure. There was this day the woman gave him and his sister's one weird looking vegetable in a strange pot and told them to eat it up. He would have rejected it, but then it is their stepmother, so he ate it. He starts remembering so many things and kept exclaiming. In the afternoon, Kayode called his immediate sister who was in the university not to go home for holidays but to stay at a friend's place till they would be liberated of this evil mother. The two of them took it upon themselves to get their sister into a boarding school just to prevent their stepmother from gaining easy access to her. After this, the stepmother started calling them and pleading with them to come home. One would have thought she was trying to keep the family from falling apart but far from it, she was looking for their down fall so she could get promoted in her evil occult circle. The beginning of the end Kayode called his spiritual mother and asked for the way forward. The woman said 'enough is enough, it's time to end this now!'. They both entered a seven days fasting and prayer. On the last day, they journeyed into the spirit ofual and warred with Kayode's stepmother and her occult members... ***To be continued...*** Thank you dear readers for taking out time to read this article. Kayode. A true life story (part 1) **Prologue:** Hello dear readizen, how was your day? I hope y'all have been doing well. Well, I have been battling of late on what to share on this platform but can't seem to find any reasonable write-up. Then, while I was walking down the staircase, the story of a young man came to mind and I thought it helpful to share to this community. *Please note that the story you are about to read is all true, real and authentic and should not be used for any form of abuse, racism or marginalisation. Instead, pick the morals and lessons you can and above all, Enjoy yourself.* **KAYODE** Kayode, a cute, handsome young man. To be really honest, the guy is just flawlessly handsome. Beautiful girls always come begging at his feet just so he can be with them. Some even give him gifts and money just to win his heart, but then, he has more important things to think and worry about. His mother died at the time he was in his final year in the university of Ife, Nigeria (popularly known as OAU). This was really the beginning of pain and hardship for him and his three other sisters. At that time, one could say he was already mature and should be able to choose wisely for himself and also give his father a good piece of advice. But then, two months later another whirlwind blew on the family taken away the immediate younger sister of Kayode. The was just so unbearable for the father and other members of the family. Then peace for a period of five to six months. One day, the father just called Kayode and said 'I have married another woman!'. Kayode was shocking and was like 'why would my dad do such a thing without consulting me and my sisters?'. Anyways, the deal has been done, so he accepted his fate. His second sister was already in the university by that time and his last sister was in Jss 3 going to SS1. On the day the father would introduced the new stepmother, Lo and behold it turned out to be their mother's best friend! Kayode and the rest of his siblings were shocked but not really pained because they concluded that it would be a plus on their size as the woman is no stranger to them. Hence, they are in safe hands (or so they thought). After the woman packed into their home, things went smoothly on the surface but in the metaphysical realm, it was WAR! The woman has two kids, who were rude to the core. They are the very epitome of disrespect and arrogance. The woman, though to the ordinary person is taking care of all equally but infact she is only fighting for herself. Back to Kayode. Kayode graduated and for a full year had nothing to do. No job, no source of income, feeding became difficult and in short every thing was upside down for him. Most of his mates were already working, some were already married and so on and so forth. But in Kayode's case, things were moving backwards. One day, he called a friend of his named Rita. He told her his problems and solicited for advice from her. Rita asked him what his passion was and what he finds most interesting doing. He told her it's painting, portrait in particular. Rita then advised him to go into it and make it an occupation. It won't pay much but then it would feed him. He started this and little by little was able to atleast fend for himself and buy some little things for himself. Then, he met this girl called Becky and that was when things went really sore. Two weeks into the start of their relationship, Kayode started having this dream of a lady coming to beat and bind him. Physically things become really bad for him that he could hardly buy toothbrush. This time around, he decided to take the matter to God and it was revealed to him that Becky was the one doing this. His girlfriend Becky took him to a pastor and the pastor said the only way he can make it in life is if he stays close with Becky! Troubled, Kayode became weak, when he stays with Becky, he faces nightmare and hardships but he's told if he wants to be successful he must stay with Her.
