Atypical Twins

Sometimes miracles come in pairs; double the giggles, double the grins. Double the trable when you're blessed with twins! Whenever we think of 'twins' the first thing that comes to our mind is a pair of persons who are born together, look alike and have the same characteristics or personalities. But it's really not seen in every case, for instance. Both the twin sister, are different from each other. Apart from this, there are many unusual twins that you won't believe exist.

Twins come in all shapes and sizes with all sorts of interests and activities. Sometimes they have special power and incredible stories as well. Here are some sets of twins who you won't believe exist:

Lucy and Maria Aylmer:

The Aylmer sisters are truly a sight to behold. They are definitely twins you can tell apart, with Lucy having fade skin and ginger hair and on the other side, Maria with dark hair with luscious curls, dark skin and brown eyes.

Their parents are of mixed race with their mother being half-Jamaican and their father being white.

Abby and Brittany Hensel :

Abby and Brittany Hensel are no strangers to the spotlight a twins, meaning that they have two separate heads, but their bodies are conjoined. They have the appearance of having a single body, and each twin controls her half of the body. Despite being unique, they live fairly normal lives.

The MC Guide Twins :

Billy Leon Mecrary and Benny Loyd Mecrary were professional wrestlers known as the McGuire Twins and they broke the Guinness Book of world record for being known as the world's heaviest twins. They are famously known as the fat twins riding motorcycles . Billy weighed 723LB and died in 1979 from motor car accident, while Benny weighted 745LB and outlived his brother by 21years before dying of heart failure in 2001.

The Twin Jims :

These twins were separated since they were 4 weeks old and found that they lived rather remarkably similar lives when they were reunited at the age of 39 in 1979.

First of all, they were both named as Jim , they were adopted by families in Ohio and lived 45miles within each other. They both had dogs that they named "Toy" , they both married twice, first of women named Linda and then to women named Betty ! And they had sons having same name James Allen.

Jennifer and June Gibbons :

The story of Jennifer and June Gibbons is truly a creepy one, they were known as "The silent twins" because they only communicated with each other in their own special language. As the girls got older, they committed several crimes, including arson which eventually got them a spot at a high-security mental hospital called Broadmoor Hospital. While at Broadmoor where they stayed for 14 years, the twins decided that one of them must die in order to communicate with the rest of the world and survive. Jennifer agreed to sacrifice and she died of a sudden inflammation of the heart in 1993. After that, June was released and gave numerous interviews about her add relationship with her sister.

Twins are really the gifts of God where one is planned and the other one is a surprise !

Facts About Twins :

* Except for identical twins every person on the Earth has a unique smell.

* Mirror twins are identical but exactly of opposite. Upto 1/4 of identical twins are mirror twins, these twins may have dominant handedness, and even organs on opposite sides of the body.

* Some twins create their own language, known as 'cryptophasia', that only they can understand.

* You can tell identical twins apart by their belly buttons.

* Twins help their mothers live longer.

* Twins begin bonding in the womb.
