One Body, one Lord

“that there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. And whether one member suffereth, all the members suffer with it; or one member is honoured, all the members rejoice with it. Now ye are the body of Christ, and severally members thereof.”

Today’s verse calls for unity in the body of Christ. We are the church. We need to exercise understanding and love between our brothers and sisters. We need to get past differences such as sex, race, domination, region, and politics.

It really disappoints me so hear of Christians hating Christians over a difference. Yes, different dominations of Christianity have different ideas, but are we saved by faith or the church we go to and who we listen to?

It’s easy to judge by one’s domination, but no one knows the individuals faith other than the Father. Judge not, but love those that love and praise Jesus Christ. Love those who don’t love Him. They need our love and help even more.
