Never say Never
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus unto all generations for ever and ever. Amen.”
Ephesians 3:20-21 RV1895 https://bible.com/bible/1922/eph.3.20-21.RV1895
This verse tells us that anything is possible through Christ. This verse comes as the debate and situation that many didn’t believe that gentle and Jew could come together in Jesus. For us, it’s sounds crazy because we are taught to treat everyone equal. However, Jews lived a very different life than the gentiles. Any there was debate if gentiles should become Jewish first before becoming Christian. These principles probably turned many away from following Christ….. needless to say adult circumcision.
However, Paul used this powerful verse to explain that the Lord can do anything regardless how impossible it seems. We should keep this in mind as we live our lives. There are times that’s we view situations or people as never being fit or forgiven. We would be wise to remember, never say never when God is in the equation.
The Lord specializes in taking what is broken or chaotic and making something beautiful and perfect with it.
Amen.
