I belong to Christ

Today’s verse shows what a wonderful gift the Lord gives to those that believe in Him. Anyone can become a child of God- no strings attached.

Our society seems obsessed with labels. From a young age we get assigned labels and it never stops until we die. At that point we are labeled deceased :). I think your understand what I mean. There are smart kids, slow kids, stinky people, mean people, cool people.

Whether we accept the labels or not, it can be hard to take them off and be yourself. The Lord gives us the opportunity to wear His label. We can be proud of it or keep it to ourselves. It’s only label that matters.

You can do want with your other labels. Personally, I dislike all labels, except for the one that counts. I proudly wear label that says- I belong to God.
