He has provided for us

“seeing that his divine power hath granted unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that called us by his own glory and virtue;”

Today’s verse is one that provides relief for us. We are not alone in living our life. In fact, God have provided all we need. We are partners with the Lord. He supplies and we hopefully accept.

This can be difficult at times because we don’t have His perspective on why things happen. When something we perceive as life shattering happens, it’s easy to fall into despair. This is true and gets worse the more we love the world instead of Him.

We need to trust that He is with us and everything he does is good. Down the road if we are lucky, we may understand our be thankful for that specific event. If not, we may never understand why it happened and we may carry our pain with us all our days. But remember, He is there for you!
