Faith and knowledge

“For therein is revealed a righteousness of God by faith unto faith: as it is written, But the righteous shall live by faith.”

Today’s verse points out why we should continue to share the Word of God with everyone. The older versions can be confusing to those not used to it’s style, so here is a modern version as well:

“For the gospel reveals how God puts people right with himself: it is through faith from beginning to end. As the scripture says, “The person who is put right with God through faith shall live.””

All versions of the Bible are beautiful and worth reading.

Back to the verse. The gospel is the key to getting things right in your life and faith is the fuel. There’s more to life than knowledge. We need to take the information in the Bible and use it. The person who really wants to show his or her love of the Lord will live by the Word. It becomes part of one’s life and actions.

Share the Word. If you are shy, ask for courage. Ask Jesus for the right moment to introduce the Lord to someone. Not everyone wants to know the Lord. Not everyone believed. A lot of false preachers and religions have tarnished the name of our Lord. People have been turned against the true church.

But people change. Be there when they do. Remember, the Lord works in mysterious ways. This gift is for everyone and everyone is loved by the Lord.
