Well, the BTC community needs to know the truth about the token’s own shortcomings, and censorship isn’t going to make those shortcomings disappear.
Censoring honest and truthful facts that hurt your token is the same as a child sweeping a broken vase under the rug so mom doesn’t find out – the vase stays broken!
Not only that, mom deserves to know her favorite vase is broken before she puts up those “vase for sale” signs.
I was made aware that a significant portion of a clubhouse podcast wasn’t published and was actively censored, which is serious but to be expected, as it once again shows the BTC way to do stuff – opt for the short-term gratification instead of the long-run viability.
I’m leaving you the video in question below, you should share it.
This is the portion of the audio that was censored, and you can hear it all here so you can really get the full rundown on it and understand why it matters that they censored it in the first place.
The Greed of BTC Maximalists: Short Term vs Long Term
We have seen throughout the years that the BTC possy just wants their short-term hits and those bulls running rampant without a shred of focus on adoption or self-improvement.
You can see it via the effort they place on pumps and inflating expectations vs the work they put into adoption and really making sure their project is viable.
The maximalist here had a rough hand, there was no way in hell he was going to rebuke some of these arguments – the system he is defending really has those flaws – but he tries to avoid it at all costs. Having a productive debate wasn’t the intent in the first place.
Bitcoin Cash, on the other hand, focuses on long-term sustained growth and looks at the bigger picture, leaving menial things like price action aside in order to implement a system that has the least amount of flaws possible.
Not only that, it openly takes criticism and tries to adapt to it in order to better accommodate the future.
We’ve seen this happen countless times, but let’s look at the short-term vs Long-Term priorities of both tokens.
The Tokens’ Priorities: BTC’s Price Vs. BCH’s Adoption
The picture you’re looking at above is what happened 3 days ago at Bakersfield Decals and shows a part of what are Bitcoin Cash’s daily efforts – to get more adoption, raise awareness and recruit merchants.
While BTC is censoring people talking about its flaws, BCH is encouraging discussion.
While BTC is sweeping the broken vase beneath the rug, BCH has the community look at the vase to find ways to make more vases while also repairing that one.
The BitcoinCash merchandising operation I showed you is just part of what is going on:
- We had the Second Virtual Meetup of Bitcoin Cash Global Adoption Leaders of South America
- We had fundraising done in Bangladesh for further promotion
- Brainstorming Sessions on how to improve BCH adoption in Africa
- We had an adoption event in Frace
- New merchants got into the fold thanks to the efforts of our Latin American evangelists
…and more awesome actions throughout the world promoted not only by Bitcoin.com but by the huge army of Bitcoin Cash Evangelists (Bitcoin Evangelists for short), who know this is the way to go.
BTC’s Maximalists, on the other hand, point at the price and scream Lambo, as if that changed society.
We Don’t Scream Lambo: We Aim to Conquer it Through Societal Improvement
I’ve said a lot of the hard work in BitcoinCash is done by its evangelists, but make no mistake.
We BCH evangelists aren’t like those you see in BTC.
While they scream Lambo at price charts and answer everything by stating their token is appreciating, screaming ATH, and rambling about a Lightning Network that was a shot on the foot, BCH evangelists are different.
We get our hands dirty and work by adding value to society, we know our product is solid, and we want to help create a paradigm-shifting experience for everyone who wants to escape the religion that is Statism.
Capitalism is Good, Freedom is Better – Statism is neither!!
We want to conquer the world not by price action and “mooning”, but by adding value to society itself.
We want to improve the world’s financial and monetary systems and we know that the value we add doing that is a reward in itself as we all benefit – well, we early adopters will benefit more than others, but that’s just because we did the brunt of the work and ran all the risks – that’s freedom and free markets working to reward value.
BTC’s Censorship Isn’t a One-Off Case: A Tried and True Method, Why?
Why do the BTC Core Team and Maximalists censor? Why do they do that?
They do that because it is a proven strategy – it works!
Why does it work?
Now, that’s the right question!
It works because the BTC fans aren’t in it for the fundamentals, they don’t care about the system, they don’t care about the paradigm shift, and all of the noble reasons they point out to say they prefer BTC to BCH are all bogus.
The bottom line, they are hyped up by price, they are choosing to believe.
They don’t revolt against this censorship because they LOVE to be tricked.
They LOVE to believe it is always going to rise, rise, rise, rise, rise until the end of the Universe.
So far they have been lucky… but where’s the adoption?
When the adoption comes… will there be uses?
Sure, the Lightning Network will fix it.
LAWL!
Think About This:
Kim Dotcom: "new users don't know anything about the current crypto wars or toxicity, they are going to go with the currency that gives them
the cheapest fees
the fastest transactions
the most reliability
...Unfortunately, That is Not BTC!"
