Analyze the Past, Predict the Future: Decentralization Wins

I've been talking about the need to switch systems and proving the current system is rotten for some time now.

If you want to see some proof before jumping into this article, check my recent post on the rotten system here.

I've pointed out several different reasons to back this up and showed you some proof too, but I want you all to forget that for a moment and join me as I examine how Humanity's past determines Decentralization is the next big system and crypto is going to power it up.

I'm a firm believer that humans are the result of millions of years of evolution and that our circumstances dictated how we evolved.

Let me make my point clear in the next paragraph below.

Human Evolution: It Affects Us Daily!

We experience the results of evolution daily.

Let's look at some examples:

  • Human males lock and unlock their wrists in a way females can't: Hundreds of years hunting by throwing spears are pointed out as the likely cause. Men with genes that programmed this wrist locking and unlocking were able to have higher success rates hunting, while being able to toss further as to stay safe - meaning they survived and rose through the hierarchy, eventually leading the non-locking wrist counterparts behind.

  • Women, in their majority, fear snakes: This is a phobia many point out to be evolutionary due to the fact snakes get attracted by milk and therefore commonly killed babies by suffocating them while they were trying to reach the milk in their stomachs (this is still happening in farm lands today).

  • Marketing studies colors: For instance, we avoid labeling meat products with blue because that repels customers. The subconscious kicks in by repelling the association between blue and meat, as this in nature is a sign that the meat is rotten.

  • We can't just eat one potato chip: When we open a bag of potato chips or fried corn snacks, we can't possibly just eat one without craving another. This is our brain reacting to the fat and caloric levels of the snack. In nature, saturated fat and high caloric meals are hard to find, and our brain triggers our gorging mechanisms to take advantage of that chance we've been given to eat that food item.

This just goes to show you that there are hundreds, perhaps thousands of strange behaviors that are justified by evolution.

By analyzing the past, we can see the logic behind some illogical things happening today. On the other hand, throughout history, we've seen that analyzing past behaviors is the best way to predict future behaviors as well.

So, since we are trying to predict what system will replace today's corrupt and rotten system - we have to analyze it from an anthropological and sociological view... using history and science to help us determine what is likely to be the outcome.

This is where the meat of my post is.

Analyzing Past Systems: Before the Present, the Past!

We've had a lot of different systems running society as of now.

There are a lot of systems that already went on the shelf, like feudalism.

Before that, however, there were other systems.

I thought about this the whole day, and I reached a conclusion while I was showering - the moment we have more time alone with our thoughts and great things happen.

  • Never forget that Archimedes reached his big epiphany while taking a bath.

I was thinking of evolution and as such, I took it to an area I know inside out - Marketing.

We passed through many marketing systems:

  • One to Many

  • Many to Many

  • Many to One

  • One to One

So I started thinking...

What about Ruling Systems, Politics, Governments, Figures of State and so on...

...this is where it clicked.

We had different forms of government and we lived as social animals under different systems.

In the beginning, we lived as just a few, lead by a central authority.

We were in small villages being led by the Shaman, the Village Chief, the Elders, etc...

When science evolved and made it possible for us to congregate into larger communities that system was dropped and another took its place.

We lived in countries led by a central authority, like the King, the Emperor, the Kaiser, the Basileus...

But there was a problem!

It was too large of a community, and so it was too much for a central figure... other evolutionary traits, this time negative ones, like greed, the scarcity mindset, corruption, favoring, and whatnot started destroying that system.

Another took its place where the government is centralized but built by not one but several rulers in a, dare I say more decentralized way.

Democracy was in its golden age and society evolved from the golden age of the monarchy until the age we're living today.

But the story isn't over...

The Rotten "Democracy" Played its Part: Time to Install True Democracy and Leave the Pseudo-Democratic System Behind!

Technology evolved further and further, communities grew larger and larger, and now we're not living isolated in our countries anymore.

We're global citizens.

It's too much for the ruling class once again, and those bad evolutionary traits like greed, scarcity mindsets, and so on start once again to corrupt the system that took society to where it stands today.

What happened last time this happened? The system was decentralized transforming 1 king into 300 government officials or so (depending on the nation, different numbers of parliament members and so on).

But that isn't decentralized enough anymore.

In fact, people who oppose statism can see the same as what people who saw what was wrong with the monarchy were seeing:

  • Nepotism: Governments aren't hereditary these days, but they could be as the families are always the same.

  • Corruption: Personal gain first, the country second.

  • Rise of Absolutism: Monarchies were rising to Absolutism and having increasing amounts of powers, the same is happening to governments these days.

  • Inefficient leadership: 1 Monarch couldn't keep up with changes, the same is happening now with the government representatives.

  • Struggle for Power: The system is stagnated, a rush for power ensues

...among other similarities, I'm sure some of you will see.

The time has come to take state decentralization one step ahead, using the blockchain to do it.

We've been seeing that the bigger the community and the more global it is - the more decentralization is needed.

Now we live in a global world, we need a decentralized system to give us our new golden age.

40 years ago, people didn't know what the next system was going to be, and Democracy was fresh and taking communities to new heights of development - but that time has passed.

Now, the system is declining for everyone to see, especially now that the COVID-19 phenomenon has demonstrated how incapable and absolutist governments are.

The next system?

Well, we know by analyzing the past that the future system needs to be decentralized in order to fix stuff up - so how do you think the new paradigm is going to look like?

Are you one of the few visionaries who can already see how the next system is going to be?

I love snakes. And spiders. I fear lighting, however. This tells me way back on the evolutionary timeline I would've been consider a witch. cackles in a witchy way.

It is very true, however, that we humans can view the past and predict the patterns that will determine the future.
