I am fine.

How did you get discover NFTs ?

I recently discovered NFTs when I came across artwork online by the Graffiti Kings and BAYC.

Why did you choose WAX for your project ?

I choose WAX for the project, because it is easy to use for minting, buying, and selling. I also like a lot of the licensed projects on there like Funko and geepeekay.

What is the idea behind your project ?

Our NFT project features wedgie the (wedge-headed) robot. Wedgie is a 3D model and will be produced in real life as a vinyl toy figure. Until then, wedgie lives on the blockchain as an NFT. The robot travels through time, past and future, and picks up new paint jobs wherever he goes. The NFT series has cards, 3D rendered wedgie robots, and 3D rendered wedgie “new in box”.

When did launch ?

The project launched two months ago.

How many NFTs have you dropped so far ?

We’ve dropped twelve variants and have about 250 NFTs altogether.

What was the first one you dropped?

Our first drops were wedgie promo cards.

How did the community react ?

The NFT Community has embraced wedgie since day one.

What is the process of making your NFTs ?

NFT design begins with paper and ideas, then decals are made and cards, wedgie is finally designed and rendered, and then the box is designed and rendered with wedgie in it.

What programs you use for creation ?

We use Photoshop and Dimension.

How long this each NFT take to create ?

A wedgie variant can be designed in about 6 to 8 hours. A complete set, consisting of card, 3D robot, and 3D box with robot, takes a few days to complete.

What is your favorite NFT you have made ? Why ?

Each new wedgie design is my favorite.

Have you done any collabs ?

We have not done any collaborations and remain open to the idea.

Who would be your dream collab ?

We would collab with another 3D render project, no artist in mind, although we’ve seen a few apes being 3D rendered.

Are you a collector of NFTs ?

We collect NFTS, both art and licensed merch.

Who is your favorite NFT artist ?

No artist in mind, although we’ve seen a few apes being 3D rendered.

Tell us something random about you ?

I am a college professor, published author, and an EDM DJ. I first learned design from making rave flyers back in the 90’s.

We can do a giveaway of a wedgie variant to the readers.

Is there anything you would like to add or say before we finish ?

I think that the NFT community has re-ignited people’s excitement for art and it will likely amount to a new Renaissance.
